It's the trouble with sprint races in general, it's all a bit kamikaze. Qualify high and defend the inside at the first corner as at least if your punted you're on the inside and you'll not travel maximum punting distance and may well recover. The first corner is where you'll go from first to last if your not careful.

Any way of turning off track resets in the daily races? Getting tired of the inconsistent resets. Getting reset to further back when I'm just about to make it back to the track is not helping! Off course being in the gravel trap is most of the time my own fault:lol:

Sadly not able to turn them off in the daily races. i think if you're generally heading back in the direction of the track and not overshooting chicanes it wont reset. But yeah, very inconsistent. I had an incident last meek at Mt. Panorama in where I was basically wedged sideways just before the dipper, ghosted out, and it waited for the entire remaining pack to pass through me before it reset. Nice Mk2 by the way!

It was a week loaded with work related stuff and overtime work so I didn‘t race yesterday and just joined to B‘s today - both were rather dull and it felt more like driving in a circle than racing.

I made mistakes in both races and sometime went slightly off the track. It‘s either the car (F-Type G4) or they changed something in the tire model: my tires felt worn for the rest of the race even when I went off in Lap 1. The car would not turn (distinct understeering) and would generally feel unstable and fragile. Might also be a subjective impression to me but I already noticed that on monday. Anybody else?

My worst ghost experience has to be Nurburgring GP. Downhill S. At the bottom, car in front swerves, I drive off intentionally on to grass to avoid. It ghosts me back at the top of the S with like 10 cars freaking out/driving through me at the start downhill. Seemed intentional set up to be worst case scenario. So that was fun.

Can't turn them off and they can be infuriating. Screwing up the pit entrance at Mt Panorama comes to mind. You get reset after Murrays and you can't go back to the pits over the grass because you'll just get reset again.

Well, it's official. Im terrible

My SR is 99
My DR is ? I can't find that rating

I was so proud to get a new fast time to qualify for Autopolis 144.147

Then, I got on to the grid to see I was 18th of 20:confused: Reality set in and I quickly realized that what was fast for me is slow for everyone else out there

I finished (+6) 12th. I don't think I'll ever see Top 10.

But, the race was extremely clean and I was thoroughly entertained and had the fun I was looking for

Is my sportsmanship rating forcing me into groups of better drivers?

Is there any way to get into a group that has an S sportsmanship rating but C and D drivers?

I can't complain because the last few days have been a lot of fun and I've only been hit once or twice, but I would love to be in a group where I had a chance, even an outside one, at a top-10 finish

If a lot of drivers sign up for the same race, the DRs should be grouped more evenly. If for instance, only 20 people sign up that are all SR S, they'll all be together, regardless of DR. If 100 sign up, you should be more evenly matched. Maybe choose a more popular race, or a time of day when more people are playing.

I'm SR-S / DR-B(low) I'm finding the competition relatively strong this week. Last 2 weeks were pretty strong too. DR has been hard to gain.

The races I did the Maggiore/Fiat, Nurb/Evo and Suzuka this week, it's been like, flat out follow the leader and if you miss one turn, you're done.

This game is too challenging for the average person. The balance between frustration and reward is maddening. I'm a slow learner/unmotivated procrastinator, I only lasted this long because I set low expectations for myself.

I got bumped off at the second right hand corner after the down hill section at Autopolis. No way to cut the corner and I had a long ride back to the track. Game resets me for no reason.

Thanks on the mk2. Really mis driving that thing.

Had that happen before and ran out of fuel because of that☹

That happened to me once, when I was in the lead. I quit the race, right then, because I didn't want to waste my time going around the track at 30 mph, just to finish last anyway.

Also, why the hell is it so hard to put all your fastest sectors together in the same lap? I keep trying over and over again at Fuji, and my optimal time is really great, but my best lap sucks. :banghead: I think maybe this car (Supra) is just crap. Could be me, though. :indiff:

I get this. My optimal is usually less than a second from my fast lap, but some combos kill me. I know that with GR4 at Suzuka my best lap will come from the 4C, but since it's all corner speed, you really have to push and be precise. It doesn't like curbs either. I've seen as low as .09.6 for optimal, but a 10.9 is my best so far. When I push that hard, I always seem to screw up at least once per lap. On the plus side, I can really throw that thing around, get all kinds of sideways and recover. It really is a stable little car. If we got style points in Q, I'd be killing it! I used to have trouble clipping the outside grass going into Degner, then I'd spin into the sand. Now I go sideways 90 degrees, 2 back wheels on the inside curb, nose in the grass, get 'er straight and brake for Degner #2, and barely loose any time. I pulled that off in a race, even. If people would stop using me as a berm, I might be able to podium there.:D

Thank you GR2 NSX, thank you wonderfull Autopolis.
Did 3 races tonight, first start from pole and victory, second start from 2nd and victory. These were all DR:B races. won 1st by 8sec and 2nd dy 9sec.
So basicly driving by my self.
At the 3rd race, I was only B in S,A+ and A lobby started 10th ended 12th. This was quite a collision zone. Forcefull entries etc. :D
Had fun tho, after 4 laps things did come down, and race was cleaner. Untill the last lap last righthander, I was passed by brute force.

So game day #67 and 151 races later, broke into DR:A SR:S Will see how long I'l keep in there.
To be competative in this crowd will need some more getting guud. :)

Here's why you have 2 accounts. I just did 4 A races in a row, with a green flag guy starting behind me. He hit me every time. Last race I told him don't hit me 1 more time, or else. He knocked me completely off the track on turn 1. Fine. Have it your way. I just switched to my mercenary account, to annihilate him next race. I tried to warn him.

Edit: He wasn't there. My SR is too high on that account.

Same exact thing happened to me. If I go off track the race is basically over for me. It's like I'm driving on ice and cannot seem to get any traction.

I finally had a good race C. My Q has been putting me between 8th and 10th on the grid. Usually someone bounces through on the inside, and I get bounced and end up around 15th. I finally got through the first lap clean, and ended up in 3rd on lap 2, had the lead for a while and got passed just before pitting. he eventually won, way out in front, but I'll take this.

Not a good day to race ! I tried race C twice .... Disconnected from server. One on lap 2 and just now on lap 7. Lost Dr and sr in the process .... Internet connection seems fine on my end :(

It's no great feat when I move up six positions from 18 to 12. I'm passing racers who are as bad or worse than me

But, for you to move up six positions in the FRONT of the pack, now that's an amazing feat.

Congrats

DR/D is my world... with occasional sight seeing tours to DR/C. If it's any consolation, you can't drop to DR 0. DR 1 is bottom, and you can't drop from D to E :dopey:.

Lol

That's good to know I can't drop to E because I'm pretty darn close to ZERO as it is.

At least you've reached C. I view that as a monumental accomplishment I will never reach

Feels good. Top 2 qualifiers were low and mid 36's, then 3 or 4 37's. The guy in front of me was almost a second faster than me. My best race lap was .3 faster than I qualified. I'll have to try to get a better time down.
