The track and penalty system work in SR.D

Perhaps it is calibrated for the lowest tiers. It is the first time I could finish a race on Tokyo with blue SR and no penalties for getting hit. How does it work, the cars trying to ram you get ghosted. I passed half the backfield while they were playing ghost rangers. Then two battling cars in front of me both got disqualified lol. 8 people were thrown out of the race. I finished second with the fastest lap (2:09 again), unfortunately delayed in the beginning not to be able to catch first that got away. 17 places gained, good enough. +7 SR for that race despite getting hit from behind (with SR down) as often as in the races in SR.B. SR boost counters bump draft SR loss.
It's better in SR.D, ghosting solves a lot of problems. Driving isn't any worse or better, cars simply get ghosted sooner. The problem is that most of that room had blue SR, so they all move back up where ghosting gets more strict and crashes happen. If emergency ghosting comes with SR Down (which it should) then people wouldn't automatically bounce back from SR.D to cause more trouble in SR.B and up.
