Ok, so after resetting myself, last night from B/S to D/E, I've got back to B/S in 9 B races. Proof that you should never trust anyone's ratings. Because they can change so rapidly, they are irrelevant.

Of course, if someone is DR A, they are good. And if they are A+, they are extremely good. SR is mostly what I'm talking about.
Well my rating is crap because I quit a lot. Can't stand racing with d icks

Do other people here change BB on the fly while racing? It's enough for me already by shifting, steering, braking/accelerating, observing radar etc.

I'd need another hand to do that.
I used to. Was fun after watching how Supercars drivers kept changing BB, anti-roll bars and fuel mixtures years back. I just mess with fuel now.

Surprised with the CB

Everyone are pretty fast. Just keep it on the black stuff really. Made spots on the first lap by cars going off. ONly made one legit pass with that M6 going wide.

15 cars in the RBJ rac. Starting 14th. See how it goes.

From pole in the morning to starting 12th now :lol:. Last race I started 10th and had to play dodgems already. This could be fun.

No difference from starting 12th without qualifying. I finished 5th, clean streak still going, while my best lap was over 1.1 sec slower than my qualifying time (was in the 4C this race). Yet apparently 7 people were supposed to be faster than me. Qualifying has so little to do with racing lol.

Same for me, changing fuel mixture is fine since you don't need to so often. It's hard to imagine for me changing BB at every or most corners of Brands, for example.
For real. I have to cope with dead trigger finger as is. :lol: Must be an adrenaline thing. I can play Custom Race for days, but when SPort MOde comes around, I have plan a trigger finger break on the straights.

Case in point, RBJ is all about who's got the best blood flow for 10 laps? Took it easy during the first quarter of the lap. Cars were going off head and trying to rejoin. Couple of level headed players didn't force the issue in front and behind me.
The car I finished behind bumped me a couple times. I wanted to type, "STOP IT! I don't need a bump draft.".

I’ve done a few race c lobbies and lets just say it did some damage to my sr rating lol.

First one I was racing for 4th when the guy suddenly side swiped me while we were braking for the last chicane, it made me touch the grass and spin right into him taking us both out. I got a 5 second penalty and finished 5th somehow.

The second one I got hit at turn 1 and dropped to 17th. Ended up finishing 3rd since most of the cars I caught up with had to serve 3-5 second penalties.

Third race I am once again battling for 4th except with two other cars this time. We were having a great race until the guy behind who caught us decided he must try and pass all 3 of us in the hairpin. That went well, dropped to 10th but finished 5th once again.

Thats enough for me lol

Well, I spent most of the evening running laps on Suzuka in the RBJ, it seems to handle better since the update. I started night at 2:00.900 and ended it at 1:58.916. Nearly 2 full seconds shaved. :)

Holy Crap, this is my 2000th post already. I’ve only been here since last October. :lol:

I had some good results tonight, great races.

People were actually careful in lap 1, no issues through T1 and T2.

However after that I skipped a race to walk the dog and when I got back it all went south. Getting dirtier by the race. The last race I did had @Voodoovaj in it who had a run in with a driver that had bump passed me in a race before. I got ahead of him due to his crash yet I was driving the Viper SRT that race, which now seems the slowest. At least I couldn't get the thing up to speed, best lap of 1:26 flat :/ It was chaos with a nasty unghosting reckless track re-entry taking @Voodoovaj out right in front of me. I finished with a red S from all the bumps received from behind. No surprising since I had no pace in it at all.

Ending on 97 SR tonight and updated top 10 with a surprising entry of the Atenza
1:23.813 (1:24.078) Audi R8
1:23.929 (1:24.711) Lexus RC F 16
1:23.954 (1:25.069) Mazda Atenza
1:24.142 (1:24.614) Subaru WRX
1:24.236 (1:24.858) Mercedes AMG
1:24.237 (1:25.373) Peugeot VGT
1:24.314 (1:24.735) BMW M3 Power
1:24.359 (1:25.052) Toyota GR Supra
1:24.595 (1:25.370) Mitsubishi Lancer
1:24.629 (1:24.965) Porsche 911
Without any slipstream as well as I got punted off early and had plenty clear road.

10 more cars to test, perhaps give the Viper another shot as well. That last race was bleh.

Just had an EPIC race where I came out on top, only because the guy I was battling with braked too late for the second hairpin and went off on the last lap. Somehow I have a 17 race clean streak going...

Edit: survived turn 1, stayed out front but just barely.

Door number is bugged, it's on (revers) alphabetical order, so 8 DR comes before 75,000 DR.

I did a few tests a while back and it was all still working as found out earlier

For example one daily A race with all the changes
A (3) 7191 -> 7961
B (9) 11874 -> 12389
C (2) 7326 -> 7774
D (10) 10238 -> 10469
E (5) 5530 -> 5696
F (1) 8279 -> 8231
G (8) 13352 -> 13043
H (7) 13463 -> 12993
I (6) 15089 -> 14428
J (4) 6198 -> 5556

Total before 98,540
Total after 98,540

Zero sum game with point exchange between the players. It depends on your DR and everyone else's how high you have to finish to gain DR.

In this example E loses DR while G gains some

A (1) 49656 -> 49811
B (2) 28445 -> 28806
C (7) 19684 -> 20060
D (9) 14639 -> 14960
E (3) 28202 -> 28089
F (5) 26664 -> 26425
G (9) 1669 -> 1753
H (4) 292 -> 241
I (8) 17390 -> 16859
J (6) 1

Total before: 186,642
Total after: 187,005 +363

With DR.1 in the mix it's not always a zero sum game as J still gives out points to others (which he doesn't have)

I added the door number in (). When there are people below 10k in the room, it's all mixed up.
But what if the whole field is DR B (10000 DR) or above, which was what happened in my case? Haha sorry for the persistence :lol:
Thanks for the info though, I'm learning new things about this whole debacle again :cheers:
I regret not saving a screenshot or something :mad:

I do it, but quite rarely. And most of the time it's only during qualifying
In the race though sometimes I might mess with the brake balance halfway through depending on my tire wear

So this happened in the 2nd to last race tonight. Was fine up to this point. I'll let you decide who is at fault here. All I know is that my 18 race clean streak came to an end thanks to this guy who decided to call ME dirty. Then in the next race, which he was also in, someone else in the lobby said they watched the replay and said he was clearly at fault...

So 2nd for that race since P3 was a ways back.

Then in my last race of the night I got the jump and held the same guy off (in a TT this time) for a couple laps before something happened and he fell back a few spots.

Another interesting one. This time the field is a mix DR A+, A, and B. Again, no one is below 10,000 DR. I started 6th, made a mistake, and finished 10th. My door number is 11, but I lost 500 DR :dunce:
I saved the replay so I can upload it now, if that would help

Race A is hard when people dont brake into turn one

Yes, I know. But this time it was me :nervous:. I was focussing at the back mirror so I could avoid divebombers. Unfortunately, I missed the brakepoint completely and became a divebomber myself :banghead:. I tried to avoid a collision, so I decided to cut the corner. See what happens versus a sandwiching move at the start. What do you think? How could a prevent that from happening :confused:?

BTW, I love standing starts, playing with the pedal is fun. I'm always one of the best starters. I think starting with a false start check is even more fun :).

some have qualified before the physics update and are struggling if the update dont advantage their driving style . All the top 10 come from before update didn't see any improvement since the update at Brands . I did my quality yesterday and im off .400 to my last trial at brands

I was wondering about this, I matched my time last night but couldn’t beat it. But my Optimal was a second faster before, not now though.

I love this new update where the penalties show in the replay.
Here is how he got the 0.5 seconds
D79wIHLUwAALtBV.jpg

The penalties are strange ... This morning I had been crashing a fair bit in race B in the Audi, sometimes when a long way in front ... my conclusion : this is still fun but my race craft really needs some sharpening. Or my focus does. Actually both.

So I did not want to meet the fast guys for a few more races at Brans race B as my DR has gone down 7k so far this week. So I wanted to keep my SR down to avoid the good guys for a few more races. At the end of the next race, I run along the grass - no penalty, so I cut the whole of the Sheen Curve - no penalty ... so at the finish, I run along the grass on the right side leading up the finish line, scraping my car along the concrete there ... and great, I get a red dot against my driving in the results ... but the placing award me the three stars - yep, an extra bonus SR award. After a red dot and cutting corners, running grass and burning the side of the car on the concrete wall before the finish line ....????
