For those from across the pond, it's hard to understand. Bathurst is Australia's answer to fight club..... if you are an Australian, you *must* race :sly:.

Not sure you should be talking about it if I'm honest?!

Finding it tricky to get online this week now after my single expedition up the mountain. But its safe to say when I do get some racing in, Steve will be my co-pilot.

My wife once asked me why I put WD40 into the kitchen cabinet. I answered that in every household WD40 is as important as grain alcohol. Then she asked me to put it into my toolbox.

UNBELIEVABLE! Oh these women!

Edit: for moving parts being stressed with high weight and force I would suggest roller bearing grease. Just be careful and use only a small lump.

As i needed vaseline seems as its petroleum jelly for motor related usage, a man of unique nature said guess your gay buying vaseline. Not only did my lips tremble trying not to laugh but i had the time to add a whitty comment "my mechanical needs are not upwards directed" made the matter worse. I use wd40 as its less embarassing to purshase and it even helps the ds4 joysticks last longer. Am not against gay men, i just have a unique humar and cant help myself but be whitty to anyone i speak too. Sometimes its good, othertimes it dont go down well lol.

Was doing the Curcuit Experience Lambo, NSX and R8. Just horrible. Those cars have put me off ever attempting to use them. The Alfa 4C Gr.3 is really stable. However, I see players in sport Mode are pretty speedy with the MR cars.

Ironically, I did use the Crossbow at Interlahos Nations race. The thing didn't kill me. Pretty fun(boring race) to drive. I'm just not going to use them any longer.
Real shame, as I like the Cayman because, it's a real GT4.

Is PSN down or GT Sport?

PSN is down, I'm still racing fine. You just can't get into the game if you weren't in already :(
I was wondering why matchmaking was getting weirder and weirder lol. Racing with A to D DR and S to B SR currently. It's actually cleaner without the schoolkids being able to log in

Damn, getting stuck behind people now that seem to have never driven the track before, 2:23 lap times while ping pong swerving and braking in all the wrong places. PSN down new challenge.

Well, I think that's about as good as I'm going to get in the NSX.

2:14.328 (optimal over 20 laps was 2:14.322) There's an extra tenth or so in it. But, I definitely can't get this thing into the 2:13s.

Looks cool while it's doing those 2:14s, though . .

Mustang next?

saw a couple NSXs on the few races i've done... It looks great sideways in a wall :p

in all seriousness i think it's a gorgeous car.

mustang worked out for me so i'd say give it a whirl if you're on a similar vibe to me of avoiding the FF understeer experience.

I was doing fine, then when I switched profiles, I got locked out.

@Pigems Mine is working, now. 👍 :)
Try yours, again.

Kudosprime daily races next week, Nurburgring 24hr Race C but still after two years its a lame two lap event! It should be special and a five lap event to add simulation. Two laps on n24 is not enough, not even enough to get a pace in :(

Race B gr4 Suzuka and Race A N300 Tokyo. So as usual race a is sports tires, race b is good and race c is heaven but lacking laps :(

If i was sport mode manager Race A would be three lap gr4 events for the rush to the end and wreck sr rating to find out dr dont increase much with low sr. Race B would be every half an hour and Race C would be one per hour with bop on and the option to choose between two fixed setting options. Polyphony digital, let me be online race organiser or someone else who plays the game, your not listening to us, time we had the final say as we race :)

C looks ok. Sven will be happy. A & B are garbage. :yuck:

Next week's races are up

A: N300 - Tokyo Central Outer Loop - 5 laps - Grid start with False start check so most likely one make
B: Gr.4 - Suzuka - 4 laps
C: Gr.3 - Nurburgring 24h - 2 laps - x5 fuel, x7 tyres (RH)

Race C was expected with the actual race next weekend, but the other 2 tracks have been used relatively recently so will feel repetitive

Agreed. Suzuka has worn out the amount of times its on, as n24 event is on next week race a should be a gr4 n24 and race c gr3 or gr2 but gr3 will do me. Lancer evo with new physics kicks rear ends there plus with fuel times five pit for fuel will be needed for all but no tire changes. Lets hope its a night time event to add the realism. Night races shows who is on ds4 in corners as their lights constantly flash lol and i refuse to move to anyone incase its accidential flashing plus i have some harsh overtaking taqtics there. Just done a 2.149 ish in the rcz on bathurst too, proud of myself for that lol then psn went down so put star trek on. Cling on to doctor "are we still married" my last partner i kicked out when n24 was on race c as they wanted honkey bonkey and i didnt (obviously). As if am going to ruin my week in on 24h lol. They were stoned and smelt like a sewer and didnt come back. Race a i dont bother with as me on sports tires dont happen lol

Always happy with a clean top ten finish. Smoke break, then a couple more races before bed.

NSX doesn't seem to bad in the DR:B lobbies.

Nice livery for the nsx. I dont bother making liverys, i just put colour on a car and save it loads of times lol

Oh sorry I missed this,my bad :nervous:

Well well well boys, it all paid off.

Matched to a C lobby in 2nd in the Mustang. Eeeexcept then I got disconnected. Debated leaving it there but that was my highest grid slot of the week so no, god damn it, I'm racing.

Joined as soon as entry started and immediately got on with hammering some MAXIMUM ATTACK laps in the ol' Stang. First lap I completely changed my line down the hill, braking way later and working the gears down slowly. As i absolutely nailed the braking into the hairpin I thought... This lap might actually be kinda quick... Nailed the last few turns as well and turned in a 2.14.888!

Good for pole in the race - full of all the same guys i was supposed to race before. Four meganes behind me. Swiss chap wished me luck so I returned the favour. As you might expect he was up the inside going in to turn 2. I took daddy @Pigems braking point at the slip road and, thank God, noticed the Swiss Megane dropping back to give us both room to make the corner, so I stomped (fingerstomped?) throttle and kept the lead up the hill.

I suppose my new Swiss friend was counting on catching me on the straight, definitely a decent choice and certainly sportsmanlike move by him which I was happy to see in an Sr B lobby. However, he was definitely not prepared for how quick I was gonna go down that hill. Took my max attack line and come the start of the straight I had nearly 2 seconds in hand. Outta slipstream range. Niiiice.

So I settled in and churned it out. He would naturally chop a bit of time through the straights but I smiled to myself imagining him understeering across the top of the mountain battling three other Meganes.

Pole Position. Fastest Lap, Clean Race, and victory number four baby.

Sidenote: how are you guys getting those lovely victory screenshots onto GTP? I would like to gloat like you on these rare occasions ^.^

I wouldn't be so sure of it being a One-Make. It's the N300 group so it will likely be the same group of cars which you could choose from at Suzuka East and Tsukuba previously; Skyline R32, R34, Impreza etc. Grid start with flase start check was also in those races too.

Suzuka - meh.

I'm glad Nurburgring returns, it looks to be the same setup as last time which is nice.

Gr4 at Suzuka sounds fun, even though it will probably be a 4C fest like always. :)

I thought it was a TT Cup fiesta last time.
