A true lack of sportsmanship.
This guy is a shame .I have now problem with aggressive driving or little dirty paint exchange but this is literary acting stupid
A true lack of sportsmanship.
I'm seeing packs of cars up the front. Pit at the same time or running together no stop. I'm trying to switch it up to keep my distance. Let cars pass. Give room. All my normal stuff. Seeing lots of mistakes too. Not intentional punts, but little mistakes.Hmmm....
Sounds like a stop is the way to go after all.
Not a bad thing - we can strategically avoid driving in kamikaze death squads.
No stopping the Porsche seemed like a strong strategy. I won with something like a 14 second gap. The last few laps the gap was so big I was coasting
around just to make sure I didn't make any mistakes. Short shifting and didn't touch the fuel map all race was enough to get it home. Tyres were fine.
I've give up on the FIA races, there is no racing there. The tyre wear is so high everybody is forced to just drive around at a steady pace.Bonus question: I've never tried the FIA races, do you guys feel they are any different? (Cleaner or not, how's the matchmaking etc)
At this early point I'm definitely stopping for fuel so far.Soooo, once again best strategy for race C is a no-stop, it seems. What are the top choices for qualifying and racing so far? Many thanks!
@GOTMAXPOWER wow, that video was nastyTurning into you under braking for T1 on lap 2, literally parking it on the apex (
) on lap 8, going for the lunge of the millennium into the final chicane... Disgraceful. What bothers me the most is that he has pace, he was fast enough to put it on pole, yet he blew the opportunity to win just to piss you off
What a tool. Congrats @Bivittavus88 on P2 in that race btw, and good job reaching A

Did anyone mention that the A race is with the Mazda Roadster Touring Car?
If not, now you know!![]()

To hell with the gr4 Lambo, the big heavy FR V8s are seriously quick in DTS qualy.
They really fly through the bus stop in particular.
Would recommend to a friend.
Aston, Merc, and Jag are what I'm talking about.
Made a new livery for both Jag and Aston. Maybe should make one for the Merc too.To hell with the gr4 Lambo, the big heavy FR V8s are seriously quick in DTS qualy.

I could've edited this to make myself look like a saint but this is more honest.
I probably could've done a better job avoiding the Alfa and Gulf Porsche when they had their moments ahead of me and I could've tried taking the chicane on more of the laps but I don't think I was the worst driver in the race.
@Bivittavus88 @HammyMansell
Well hello there little guy!
View attachment 844160 Hi!
I bet you remember what our rule on naming and shaming other players is, don't you?
View attachment 844160 Yes! Weeeeeeeee don't do it!
And do you remember why that is?
View attachment 844160 Oh yes! It's because we're the biggest GT site on the planet, and when you type someone's name in a thread in here and say that they're a bad person, the Google indexes that so their name shows up in searches as being a bad person according to GTPlanet. That might make them very cross and bring unnecessary drama to the site from things that weren't even on the site in the first place, that the moderators then have to tidy up!
And how do you think that makes the moderators feel?
View attachment 844160 Oh it makes them very very sad.
That's right!
lol @ pole position PSN name![]()
So, any one know why there are two Mercedes in gr 4 and are they both competitive?
Edit: silly me, that is gr 3
The question is, is it BoP'd again? If so, that's a very lame Race A, IMO

That's what I fear, and same reason that I am not very fond of race C.
PD needs to realise that a x20 multiplier does not make a 10-lap race equivalent to a 200-lap one. There is simply not enough race to recover the time lost pitting, so the meta always shifts to extreme fuel/tyre saving strategies.
Well done, congratulations!Aaaaaaaaand . .

Each step down on TCS is about a half second lap time improvement.... after you learn the throttle control necessary to not power slide off the exit of ever corner. I'm running TCS2 and have tried TCS1. At my (advanced) age I may never reach TCS off (reaction times too slow) but if you can it's worth the effort of being a bit slow and losing a few CRB bonuses during the learning curve.I did this with the default TCS3 and I have been wondering whether I need to turn it down/off to go faster. Anyone had similar thoughts?
