Race C can easily turn into a bloodbath. Think I am going to have to spend most of my time at big willow this week. Only random shots at N24. Had fun racing it but there are some serious mental cases there. You know problems are likely when the field has A+/S on pole D/A in 4th and a crowd of B/S and B or C / A drivers behind. Smashes everywhere.

Can say no stopping isn't an issue. Don't know about faster drivers but both winners in my races no stopped it and both were under 17 minutes, while I got timed out at the start of the GP track both times. Doh.

Had a lot of fun at Interlagos this week, and was very excited to make it up to DR:B on Friday, wasn't sure whether to grab one more race there today, but went for it anyway, don't often get to race Gr.4 like this, and I'm not fussed about losing a bit of DR.

Was surprised to find myself 5th on the grid in my sparkly pink and black Vantage, sandwiched between a pair of Caymans, a good clean start and the front 6 started to get a gap after a couple of laps. The Cayman behind started to get a bit pushy, and gave me a nudge in T1, but with no gap ahead to run away into, I let him go going he'd take someone else out, although I was back ahead pretty soon. The Jag who'd started P2 spun out at Descida do Lago, possibly punted by the very laggy other Jag, but not sure. I was having a great battle with the Cayman that had started P4 at this point, back and forth several times completely clean. Another couple of laps later, the WRX that had been on pole went wide at Descida do Lago, got a penalty and immediately quit, putting me up to 2nd behind the laggy Jag, although the Cayman got me again just after.

Stayed like this into the final lap, the Cayman right on the Jag's tail, and I was about a second back. They clashed in T8, the Jag spun out and I got through into 2nd, then on entry into T12, the Cayman stuck his right rear on the grass, nearly span out, but cut the corner, and I was past him into the final corner. He was desperate to hang onto 2nd ahead of the other Cayman, but spun on the exit, and dropped to 4th instead while I took win number 7!!!

Was going to thank the Cayman for a good clean race, but he'd left before I got to the chat screen, understandable I suppose, I'd have been pretty gutted going 2nd>1st>4th on the final lap.

DR over 12000 now, and another clean win (6 of my 7 wins!) SR still at 99, that's 7 race days in a row, and 13 out of the last 14!

...but how the hell do i report him and his profile from outside the game?

I'd suggest a link to the YouTube stuff when you make the report with a brief, to the point description of the behaviour and leave out the emotional stuff. Include region, which race, and if you have the information, time of race. Moderators just don't have time for an incoherent rant, believe me... I've done the job for ten years on a very busy international forum.

Not qualifying this week and already started better than the last. Did one Race B and one C.

Finished 3 positions up in C, though it was because people left the race early lol. Also, no pit with the Jag.

In B, I thought I would have a lot of problems but I just witnessed the carnage from behind. Finished 5 positions up.

Yay it worked, started last (15th) at N24 with DR.1 Chaos of course, and I could not avoid all the crashes, ended up with a 3 sec penalty from a car losing it again and again until he spun and tapped my bumper on the way out. Then the next car I was following kept blocking every time he messed up, rammed me into the wall at the bridge but no penalty of course. You only get that for getting hit by crashes :banghead: The penalty cost me a spot at the penalty zone yet that car and the one I was following pitted so I past them there. The pit does indeed not take very long anymore, yet top 5 all no stopped. I finished 4th, still blue S, 1078 DR gained (from 1).

Starting 15th next, last again. Finished 3rd in that one, to 2362 DR. Fastest lap, CRB.

Crap, the honeymoon is over, starting 17th of 19 next. No more starting last. Finished 3rd with fastest lap after getting bumped off in the final section. I managed to coach the car back onto the track and took the position back at the finish (penalty). 5526 DR now, DR.C

Starting 14th of 18 now, getting scary.

Interlagos made me rethink qualifying. You either start in the first 3 positions or just pray so people won't ruin your race. Your DR can only go down this way. I'm starting P11, P12 and just can never improve cause people will just send me flying.
Starting P1-P3 doesn't help any either. I started P2 last night and got driven off the track by the leader when I pulled along side of him coming out of turn 1. I started on pole and never made it to turn 1.

I had three races where I was the fastest lap and never finished higher than 5th.

I think it has more to do with where the track is...certain regions tend to be just chock full of filthy drivers..and when the track is in that region you're going to have a bad time.

I've run Brands Hatch for a week without hardly any issues....just sayin'

One race B tonight, P6 > P10. Pushy, lots and lots of paint, fender and door handle damage, but not dirty. White SR, DR down some (not sure how much, forgot to check before race). All in all, great fun :D.
I might have to try the 86, the RC-F is comfortable but not hugely fast in my hands. Also in line for a run are the Jag, Mustang, maybe the Porsche & Mercedes, but I have to put some decals on them all first... :)
Also still coming to grips with TCS1 after a long time at TCS2 (old muscles take longer to retrain than young ones :irked: ) so the cars more prone to power oversteer are still a bit of a challenge. Fortunately Big Willow doesn't have a lot of slow corners :D

Had one of my favourite races where I led start to finish tonight. Started at Willow Springs on pole with the first flying lap being a 1:18.5 before second place broke it by a tenth. Next lap I pulled an 18.15 before second place set an 18.1. Then next lap I pulled a 17.6 before he lapped at 17.4. Was a great exchange of fastest laps as we were both learning the car/ track combination.

I love qualifying early on Monday mornings, before the fast guys wake up.

isn't that racist?

Well, 5 races later it seems it's not me, something changed. I had a second lap recorded of 8:23.010 in the Lexus '17 last time this same combo was on. Now my second laps are 8:33 at best, same as in the test lobby I made, and consistent at that. Lexus is a full 10 second slower now

All the more reason to test all cars again. A couple more races in the Lexus until things calm down a bit. Nice back to starting last in the next one, 15th. DR up to 7786 (from 1) after 5 races.

Ah that's a bit better. 8:29.628, no interference in lap 2 and a bit of drafting. Finished 2nd with fastest lap and CRB. Still a long way to 8:23 :/ DR 9324, DR.B next race.

I guess the one redeeming feature of having a repeat car at Race A is how I compare to my QT last time. Turns out I'm .200 of a second quicker so at 1:04.3 (optimum: 1:04.1). I probably won't race there much (if at all) over a week containing Big Willow and N24.

Man the Type 2 launches hard from the pit stop! LOL!

Yeah, don't underestimate it, it's a beast.

Can anyone give me an idea on how the Beetle will be doing on N24?

It was decent last time at this combo, but I haven't seen one yet. Favorites atm are GT-R :yuck:, V12 Vantage, Mustang, Corvette, GR Supra.

Ugh starting 13th of 20 now after reaching DR.B. That dive to DR.1 didn't last long. Right in the danger zone :( 4 qualified out of 20!

2nd place finish, fastest lap, CRB, but couldn't beat my 8:29 time in the Lexus with a flawless lap 2, 8:30 without drafting anyone. It really is slower. (8:23 last time)

To work then, by which I mean, testing all the cars  I'll go in the order they worked best last time, SLS AMG was in second place with 8:25 and lots of fuel. Let's see how it does now.

Middle of the pack there was ROUGH. I had varied luck, but usually bad, starting around p10. Top 6 or 7 was the best place for me- enough to let ppl make mistakes in front and enough to stay away from all the CRAZY DIVE BOMBERS in that race. Everybody thinks they can "catch" you on the inside. They get a 5 sec penalty when they inevitably knock someone off, but the unlucky receiver of the bump loses more than that on most occasions.

Cannot refill the torch of death. Green hell, green hell. Hell is reigning in your blood. Green hell, green hell...there was paint on the ARMCO, rubber on the road and tyre smoke in the air! My first mistake was not qualifying. I wasn't prepared to to wait for the half past midnight race, so I threw on some extra decals, and entered the Supra untried and untested with 30s left. I started P13/18. 10 out of the 18 on the grid were non qualifiers.

I ran flat out and sheesh! The track was so greasy, the Supra was less race car and more drift pig. T1 I ended up in the fence because I slid. That put me in last place. I slid off a few times, and going through the section that's usually my strongest, the section after the Karussell, I kept spinning out every time I hit the brakes. I ended up with a 3s contact penalty.

On the second lap I was making up ground and caught up to the two cars in front of me that would have gotten me back into P13. The guy in P14 kept braking in strange places and I came off trying to avoid him. I didn't think that fuel was a factor so I wasn't fuel saving.... at all... I ran out of fuel somewhere between the two Karussells. Picked up a 5s penalty slamming nose first into a wall and another hitting the wall ...at 80kph with no fuel . Not wanting to get in the way, or have a ghost distracting anyone, I drove on the grass and still managed to hit the wall for another 5s. I finished P15 when the race timed out. Should have freed willy instead .

SR down 2, DR down 400. Another day above DR 1 :odd:.

You made me relive my nightmare of racing in the Supra there before, I was sliding all over the place and finished last. It's the only Gr.3 that I had to use TC with since it seemed oversensitive to throttle input. Maybe it's improved since then, I haven't raced it anywhere else after.

FT-1 is best Toyota for me.

Did they have a BoP adjustment in the last couple months?

The latest BoP for Gr.4 was around 3 months ago although I think it was before the last Willow race:
  • Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.4 [Weight Reduction Ratio : 109% > 108%]
  • BMW M4 Gr.4 [Power Ratio : 99% > 98%]
  • Honda NSX Gr.4 [Weight Reduction Ratio : 108% > 107%]
  • Lexus RC F Gr.4 [Weight Reduction Ratio : 103% > 104%]
  • Renault Sport Mégane Trophy '11 [Power Ratio : 87% > 88%]
  • Subaru WRX Gr.4 [Weight Reduction Ratio : 102% > 101%]
Edit: It was before. BoP: July 4th, last Willow race: August 4th.
