Is the C9 useable for race C? I know you guys are big on the 962. I dont want to be doing parade laps in the c9 if i try race c lol.
I'm going to find out this afternoon. Should be faster than the 787B and more stable. I may not be a good gauge because, I go flat out.

If the C9 has over 1.2 laps of fuel at end of Lap 3, I might do a fuel conserve race.

C/C at the moment.

These races are killing me. I’ve got my QT to low 31s at RBR, but it’s putting me in the middle of the pack and it’s a slaughter fest the first lap. My personal favorite was taking a 3 second collision penalty when I didn’t even touch anyone.

I bought a Gr1 car and did 2 races at Le Mans. I’ve got a lot to learn about taking the corners fast, but I’m getting smoother. Still rough in traffic for me, and I’m still taking some limits penalties in the faster portions. Gained 5ish spots in each race.

The C9 is great for race C, I beat my 962C no stop time on my second attempt.

Not so great against a room full of TS050s as all the others

But caught up with @Voodoovaj who started 4th in the Jaguar.

Then matchmaking put me in a B/S room with a lot more variety. DR gains entirely at the whims of matchmaking lol.

I got a faster best lap in the 787B but overall faster race time in the C9. No CRB for this one, touched the wall once in the Porsche curves. I got it again in the 3rd race with the C9, but got punted once in Dunlop. Always a risk with mechanical brakes vs Hybrids. I still finished 5th in that one with similar race time as the first race up there.

Thou shall not escape GR.C mega speed!

I'm going to take the R92CP for a splash and dash spin tomorrow. See how fast that goes with the improved pit times. Then also the 962C for comparison with short shifting.

I'm going to try race C tomorrow I haven't done it in a while. Race B is just a series bumper cars going around RBR. I got my time down to 1:31.15 with the BMW M3 GT. I know an odd choice but I like it. The brakes feel really weak tho. Anyone have a tips for getting more out of it? Brake balance? I played with it some but after 200 daily miles I was tired of playing.

About to do my first race c. I can not resist it. Going in with the 962, just gonna try and make it out alive lol. Set a qt of 3.27.887 starting 12 all hybrids cept 2 787s and one lm55

Not bad. I made a couple stupid mistakes. Otherwise i woulda gained a few spots, instead i dropped a few spots lol went all out splash and dash, and I'm already thinking of how to no stop with auto lol

This is a strange war to fight.
Some of the enemy is confused.
Some of the enemy has evil intent with a modicum of skill.
It is impossible to tell the difference between the two.
THIS is sr B.

You have to race this. So fun.
I am gonna stick with 962c. Drives good, I begin on fuel map 3.
The only question is when does one go to fuel map 1. Shift point is critical.

Me (without power nor internet) as I see you all have fun and/or rage on this weeks Daily Races:

This rain + wind is something else. In the meantime, I'm on the phone. So.

:grumpy:

E: I blame PG&E for this, not @sturk0167 !
That sucks man. Are you getting hit with the scheduled blackouts from the fires over there?

fake edit: oh I see you mentioned PG&E already. Still probably Sturk’s fault though

The enemy revealed his position to me pre race (it was @sturk0167 s fault)
I was therefore able to deploy my forces in a coordinated lap 1 assault culminating in a pinchers movement lap 2 which ultimately led to a 14-2 crb fl run.
It was a most ripping victory.
Shared the replay up in game on alt.
I gotta admit it was sweet. Lap 1 has one of my best ever overtakes at the first chicane on Mulsanne straight. Clean textbook maneuver. I don’t usually tout my moves but that was so awesome to pull off.

You get a fantastic sense of risk at b b and the sense of accomplishment is great when you outfox them.

Done for the night sitting at b b.

To be continued manyana.

Yeah, stayed where I started. To me, the 787B felt noticeably better in handling. I passed both leaders, but after Indianapolis, I handed the lead to the TS050(because I'm a nice guy) and let the 787B go because, the C9 just didn't have the grip like I have with the 787B. After pit stop(0.8 laps left), I had to pass the 4th & 5th placed cars.

Oh, I only got up to 356km/h, with a tow. Thought it'd be faster. Then I remembered BoP. It's less 130hp.

Did all my races in the 787b last night 6 or 7 races I think stopped for fuel and tyres in 3,just fuel in another and no stopped the last 2. Taking tyres is just a bit too slow in the pits but I think going flat out can work better than no stopping from the back, having said that my best finish was a 4th with a no stop and a 5th stopping for just fuel. Best lap was 3:28 on the no stop and 3:25 after stopping for fuel and tyres

I did 3 races in the Jag, last one was sort of ok, I made it to the finish!

CRB is out of the question with all the bumping from behind.

This is the Jaguar experience on Sarthe summed up in 35 seconds (from the race before)

Nor recommended, avoid.

No no no Sven. You can't say that :banghead: You have awakend my rage and I'll take her out once more this morning to show you this cat owns Le Mans 👍

....well maybe. ... sort of...:scared:

2 wins tonight, 1 in the Audi R18 Hybrid, 1 in the Porsche 962.

Audi total race time was a 17:11.xxx and can go faster. Probably the one major competitor to the Toyota's on raw race pace. Although requires fuel and energy management to get there so not the easiest to do it in.

Porsche ran easy no stop and I was just getting faster in it throughout the race. I think it can threaten the Toyota's but race pace it doesn't have the raw speed required to do it on it's own. 17:16.xxx. And while I feel it can get faster, the big advantage of the Porsche would be starting top 3 and heading into the Porsche curves lap 1 ahead, otherwise you will have an uphill battle trying to take the Toyota's on with just flat out pace.

Capping off 310 in style :D

First race back in RBR. Get punted T1 by a Vantage. You figure players would know by now to take it easy at any T1. Live to fight another day....

Its really starting to piss me off honestly. Take the outside line through any turn with enough space for 1.5 cars on the inside and they still manage to hit/spin you. RBR is killing my sr. Getting revenge punted twice yesterday when it wasnt even me who was involved had me heated af. If you are gonna revenge punt somebody at least hit the right ****ing car.

Also PSA if you door bang me multiple times on a straight and squeeze me to the grass at the braking zone you will receive a complimentary beach vacation. Im tired of being pushed around and people not being penalized. One of those revenge punts was at turn 3 RBR, guy doesnt brake at all and clobbers me and drives away with no penalty. I get taken out of 2nd and he gains 3 positions. So 2 more people on my punt list after yesterday. All 3 are from the same country. Im not gonna say which one. You can probably guess.

The way you used it in your Big Willow video was perfect!
I replayed that part about a dozen times. 👍

And it's on YouTube so you can replay it until it stops being funny. Hopefully never

God damn, the Viper is such a sexy race car

I agree. I would have driven the Viper more earlier in my time on the game if it hadn't suffered from being nerfed. I still feel like it's being nerfed, but I've been able to make it work these last few months.

After the last Gr. 4 week at RBR, I swore that I would only take my alt account there. I'll probably use my main, but I won't run as many races there. My ratings got pummeled during the Gr. 4 week.

The next week races should be interesting. Tomorrow's update, we get:

Toyota 86(2019 or a Scion FR-S) N200

Ruf CTR3 N800

Jaguar VGT Gr.X

BMW E46 M3 or M3 GTR N300-400

RE Amemiya FD probably N400

Is all of this official somewhere?
