Opening the game now... It made check some updated terms and conditions about minors and the PlayStation network... Not sure what this is about...
I'm in Canada and the 159.9 Mb download took around 18 seconds. :D
Do you happen to have a spare room? I just need to quickly download a couple of PS Plus games
Copying is at 26% after 15 minutes, though. :boggled:

My copying process started at 40%...
I think it starts copying before the update has finished downloading... I just noticed that I never really had an issue with copying with bigger updates since it takes hours to download them

Times haven't been reset on both races...
Although the barrier is back at SPA, nothing has been done about Catalunya..
It's still possible to replicate the cheat..

Edit: By times I meant the times on the leaderboards.. They haven't been reset...
Interestingly enough, they barriers aren't there on the cheater's replay at Spa...

Things is getting a bit western in race C tonight. I got punted off track twice, blew track limits due to dirty tires twice, several accordion tap issues while in a pack and my SR went UP 5?

Meanwhile people are still getting 20 second penalties for tire issues. And if you are doing the mismatched set I recommend the RH on the rear. Makes the power a bit iffy as it sometimes comes on like turbo lag, but way better than no steering

Edit: didn't see @GOTMAXPOWER and @Mistah_MCA mentioned same advice. It is a twitchy race but a tad addictive.

To add to above adventures, first race I started 7th, got to 4th cleanly, was punted off to 13th and then bounced back up to 9th. That was only lap 1

Yup. ^
The car will be a tad bit squirmy at the start, but it'll get in the groove after a short time.
It's not too bad because the car naturally has a lot of understeer, you can push fairly hard without it surprising you, you do lose some ground on the start though.

This game still needs an option to chose all the tyres at pitstops, we could do it on the older games.

So I did about 4 races yesterday in Spa. 1 win, 7th, 4th and 6th - in that order, so I am quite pleased. The start is a crapshoot though. Depending on your starting position, you'll be right in the middle of the chicance, when the clock winds down.

All I need now, is a better qualy time. That low 1:32 won't cut it for long.

Two PP, 1 win, 1 FL.

Started with the Citroen. Was good for the first lap. Lap 2, the dang thing doesn't want to stop or corner. P2 catches up and passes me in a Huracan. Lap 3, it messes up after Eau Rouge and can't catch its tail slapper. I get the lead again. I'm trying to engage 7th gear and I can't, as P2 rage quits right at that very moment. P3, in a GT-R, is able tro catch up. I'm thrown off my rhythm and bty the time I select 7th, GT-R is right behind and I miss my braking point. AWD exits benefit the GT-R. So, I'll have 2nd at the line.

Next in the Huracan. Again, get to lap 3, dang car doesn't pull up after the straight. Next, it doesn't want to corner. Under, under, understeer for the middle of the lap. P2 in the Huracan from the first race, can't get by me. Rage quits at Paul Frere. I win.

OyVeyron time. The same Huracan user from the first two races, qualified ahead of me. OyVeyron manages to stay with the bull all race. No dramas. Thought I'd fall way behind. Pipped P1, for FL, at the line.

I think "Pepe le Peugeot" is next in line.

yeah you really need a top 3 seed to have any chance at spa, it is very frustrating when you see you are 5th and the qualifying times for the top 5 are within a tenth of a second... absolutely zero chance.

Tried with the Vette.
Spun twice.
Massive pos.
Sticking to the Megane.

The Vette is not bad at all on Spa! I drive for Chevrolet in the Manu so I use their cars in the daily races as much as I can to learn the cars better. So far I feel the Gr4 is very stable and predictable on Spa. Did well on Monza too.

Just don't start in 5th or you will be overtaken almost before auto-drive is over :b

That was my first adventure. Started pole, got an okay start, punted at T1.

I see very few FF cars at Spa this week. An occasional Sirocco, one Mégane a day. Then in one race I saw 3 Mégane Trophies... Two quit before finishing and the last one came in last.
I am happy to see the FR gang being well competitive in Gr. 4 for once. Much more diverse fields and spectacular spin off moves.

Haha, more spectacular indeed! On Mt Panorama a few weeks ago I was very alone with the FR. Even starting from pole I had to defend pretty much the whole race even if I was over 1 sec faster in quali time ^_^ Besides I don't like the FF cars for the simple reason that they are all 4-pots. It's like a force of nature, If FF more than 4 cylinders aren't allowed. Ever.

Does anyone know when Blue Moon Bay Speedway, the oval and not an infield version, was last featured in a daily race?

According to KPrime it was the first week of January and was an N400 one make, so almost a year ago.

It's been used a couple of times in FIA seasons and does make for a fun/chaotic race but I'd also imagine a week of oval racing would get fairly dull fairly quickly.

Green cones at SPA.

Of course, the spin was avoidable, but is it necessary for these to be in the game? I am sure that I am not the only one who has had this issue.

I think the Trophy is a MR car, m8te.

So glad Spa Gr.4 isn't an FF fest, did a no-quali in the Aston, and had a very fun race. The Lambo ahead of me got a bad exit out of the chicane before the start, and passed him on the outside of T1, then had a good fight for most of the race with a BMW, a GT-R and a pair of Mustangs. Managed to get past all 4 to get 11th, including making one of the Mustangs go defensive at the chicane on the final lap and out-brake himself, I was past before the second part as he'd run off, and in his haste to get back on, he got a really bad exit and ended up last.

Gr.4 works well at Spa, can race close and set up moves, just wish there were more laps!!

Anyone experiencing extremely sensitive penalties in race A? I raced twice last night in the M3. First race I had a driver try out braking me into turn 1 on the inside. They ended up wide in the turn with me being able to cross over and slide underneath them. I didn’t see, hear, or feel any contact. I ended up with a 5 second collision penalty. Asked the other driver after the race and they agreed there was no contact. In race 2 I was touched in the right rear corner. Definitely contact from another driver but I got dinged with a 4 second penalty. I know you can get a penalty even if someone hits you, but I have been in plenty of races where I have seen or experienced rubbing and bumping that didn’t result in penalties...especially 4 and 5 second ones. Just a bad night or did Poly change something up?
