Nothing like getting rammed off the road two (clean) races in a row by the same clown and then told to "learn to race" afterwards. I'm going to stop there for tonight before I get upset by it.

I’m sorry but I may have fueled that comment a little bit in the post-race chat. I was in that race and it went pretty bad for me due to the guy that rammed you and a couple other characters I was already having issues with in previous races. In my frustration I mistakenly tagged you with them, probably because I was following you for 2 or 3 laps so your name was fresh in my head. You raced clean, fair and predictably from what I could tell, and it was actually a pleasure driving behind you compared to many in this race.

Honestly I witnessed a lot of terrible driving and aggression this week at Laguna, where I did quite a few no-qualy races. I started doing much better when I decided to assume that nobody was using radar and that even if they were, they would turn in on me anyway if I went up the inside. I also had lots of problems with people changing their lines under braking or trying to protect the inside only to swerve over to the racing line dramatically at the last moment in front of me after letting them have the inside. I had to get a few bad results before finding the good ones, needless to say.

here’s that race where you got punted at the corkscrew right in front of me, lap 5 or 6 I think. That same guy got pissed at me for overtaking him through T1 after he failed to protect the inside and got soundly outbraked, then it went even more downhill from there. Still gained 9 positions but what a disaster all around.

A quick look at the strategy options for this weeks daily race C. Group 2 at Fuji.

Tryed to cover all the bases including possibility of a mandatory tyre.

So annoying when you make these videos and realise you have forgot to say several things lol.

Anyway hopefully a few new xmas players out there might find this useful

Its the Toyota 86 Limited boosted to N300 for race A.
That's a bit disappointing and pretty unimaginative.

PD getting a nice earner from Toyota. Problem is we'll get annoyed with the same cars all the time and it will end up with negative press for Toyota.

They could have used the 1997 Surpa for N300.

Race A. Two races on 2nd account.

Race 1
Start 5th. End up 7th. Was the second race of the day and half the grid didn't have a qualy time.
Someone did a ridiculous move at the first tight right hander. I slightly tapped them as they blasted past in front of me out of control. I get 5 seconds pen.
End up with red SR.

Race 2.
Improved qually time to mid 1:25s. Will need to be in 2:24s for B/S level by the end of the day.
Started 3rd.
End up 2nd. 3rd got away poorly. Me and first made it around the right hander before the pack could dive bomb! He was clearly faster than me, but ended up just over a second behind at the end. I kept it steady for an easy podium. CRB too.

Edit: I've just done a 2:24.048 on main account.
B/S drivers will need to hit the 2:23s at Tokyo.

Wow! I was so impressed with the racing just then.

I'll post the video, but wow. From where I was, no qualy, ahead of the last place Mustang. mustang didn't beat me up into T1. Noone crashed at T1. Racing room was given for overtakes. SIde by side in corners. No touching or barely. Just the Beetle ahead of me, had a spin from exit of Senna. Cool stuff. Was hard work in pretty much an all A+ room.

Edit: BOOOOOO!

Started 6th. Thing is, I was in dreamland during warm up, forgot to switch tyres for RH. While players at the back started on RH, I did one lap on the RM and dropped from 4/19 to 18/19. Plain not thinking about a strategy.
Well, got caught up in battles and avoiding contact, ruining my tyres. Another was towards the end had a car stop before the entry of 130R. I mean, it's trying to defend the inside line, but can't be stopping like that. I had to take myself off road. Anyway, I love this combo. It's like watching the real Super GT500(if only the '08 cars were non-selectable ;) 0.

After the first two "boo" races, third time's a charm.
Stayed on RMs as long as the top three were running. I was 4 seconds back in 5th, after getting sideswiped by some players from the first two races.

One of the leaders in an SC430, pitted way early on Lap 5. Came out behind me and I made way for it to pass after a few corners. From there, I ran alone to the finish.

To me, it's a shame to see it's the GT86 again, but also hilariously separated from the Fuji race.
Also, I miss Tokyo South in lobbies. There may be a few sometimes, but it's always for cruising/cops/traffic rules. I miss just driving around the track like a track day (especially the inner loop, or the longer one at least).

Here’s probably the best no-qualy race I had this past week at Laguna. 20th to 5th in the SR99 lobby, with clean race bonus. This one was a lot of fun. Can’t remember how many times the seas just seemed to part for me here, but it was awesome. Laguna is unforgiving, and lots of people will either over drive themselves right off track or get caught up in unhealthy battles that cost them dearly, lol. Enjoy.

That was a great race, nice one!

Race A
Qually on time on main account now at 2:23.242. Opt is just sub 2:23.
Decided to risk it and race on main account as I’m hopeful I can get some podiums if I can stay of out trouble on lap 1.

Race 1
Started on pole.
All B/S or B/A grid.
My qually lap 2 seconds faster than 2nd on grid!

Finished 3rd. Stayed out wide at first right to avoid dive bombs, but two got past me. Then a messy race for top 4 drivers. 10 seconds of pens for me – one was 5 seconds for hitting the wall at turn one too hard. Avoid the walls, way too costly.

SR down to A, from 99 to 73. That doesn’t bode well!

Race 2
Started on pole.
All other drivers D/S.

Finished 1st. Avoided the dive bomb and then just kept it clean for CRB and SR repair. Only got 4 SR for a clean race.
I got fastest lap too.

Race 3
Started 2nd. A/A driver on pole. Mostly D/S drivers on grid.
Top 3 over 5 seconds ahead of 4th on grid.

Finished 2nd. Exchanged places with the A/A driver on lap one, but he led again by lap 2. Both clean overtakes. We were 5 seconds ahead of 3rd, so I just kept within 1 second to see if he made error. He didn’t. Another CRB and fastest lap. Now I’m back to SR S again.

Race 4
Started on pole. Full grid of B/S drivers.

I spun out of lead on last lap after quick right approaching the last hairpin. Hit wall, 5 second penalty. Second was close behind, I’m not sure if he unsettled my car or not. Ended up 4th.
Blue SR.

Race 5
Started on pole. Mixed grid for DR, but all SR S.

Finished 1st. Some good, close racing. Other two in top three made errors when close behind, so neither was able to make a move. Another CRB.

My DR is above 25000 for the first time. Happy with that. SR now at 88.
