I don't know about his races but all the worst crap i have dealt with has been in Rooms heavy with A drivers. Videos finally went live. The first one is the first lap of my first race no qually. I quickly found out I didn't have a handle on the combo but it looks like no one else did either.
I do admit to not driving great there. And yeah, after that I just dropped as I had no pace.
Next video was the punts from last night.
First was the lag punt, person managed to keep the spot. I want the tire grip and turning ability they had. Next is the combo deal that dropped me from a solid start and ok pace to just lapping in danger of being lapped with no one in sight. Guy that dive up the middle to make it 3 wide was doing that crap all night in all 3 races, and simply punting you if they didnt get by within a few turns. Didnt seem to get many penalties for it though. I need to get faster to get away from those people, or better car control.
Yeah, up until my disaster last night I kept getting close to A and hanging at high 28k. Just seems they are more aggressive and less patient, especially in a mixed field. Oh well, going to have fun anyway. Finally reached DR A here and all my races till now are much more chaotic and dirty than B.
In BMB lots of A drivers are abusing the track limits, did not see that in B.
Nobody bump drafts on the Daily B Oval in Europe, I absolutely cannot stand it. A/S lobbies, even had a French me brake check me going into the flat out T2 when we were p1 and p2 breaking away from the pack.... because of my bump draftingMaybe it's NASCAR or something but on my North America account I've had better luck oval racing. On EU just seems to be guys constantly driving below the apron to break tow, drivers attempting passes down the straight when the guy ahead of them is also in the slipstream, divebombing T1. Never anyone working together, so bizarre.
3 victories tonight: 2 at BMB (3 pole) and 1 at Autopolis. Should've had at least 2 more at BMB but clowns will be clowns. Got sweet revenge at Autopolis when P1 went wide at T1 on final lap and as I'm carrying more speed and try to pass him halfway down to T2, joker blocks me on the right AND on the left. So naturally, I bumped him around final turn for the win (no penalty no less).
For Daily Race A, BB 4 to the rear works great. For C, I've been enjoying 5 to the rear with ABS off... still trying to figure it out but that's been best I've discovered so far. Curious what people are doing for Spa.
I'm the "joker/clown" that "blocked" you last night. Which led to you punting me off track on the final turn for your win.
Last night was the first on-line race I'd done in GT in over two years. Unfortunately, not much has changed... The race you took from me was my third of the night. Admittedly, I was SLOPPY on the final lap. But, I didn't get a Sportsmanship Rating of S by being an intentionally bad driver. I've been playing since the original GT came out, I've been on many tracks IRL (including the 'Ring) and done a lot of track days. Dirty driving makes me mad, IRL and on-line.
I'm trying to give you some background, I'm not a kid. I've done this a long time and I've done it virtually and on actual tracks... Am I the best driver in the world? No. Am I a dirty driver? A joker? A clown? No. No. No. My last lap was not pretty. But, from my perspective, I did my best to stay on the racing line, your job is to figure out how to get past me. I never made more than one move on a straight and it was always to get back on the racing line. I understand that this week's Race A has a brutally slow and underperforming car. But, it is what it is. If you can't pass me cleanly, you have to wait for the next opportunity. On the final lap, you were able to close the gap when I screwed up on a few corners. But, I always maintained a lead thru the corner you caught me on and had pulled ahead by more than a car length before the next turn.
You literally just ran into the back of me and punted me off track on the final turn. C'mon, you behaved exactly like the people you are complaining about in many of your posts here.
Here's the final two laps of the race from your perspective. Again, I know I was sloppy. I can do better. But, the way I see it, I only ever moved back on the racing line if I veered off it. You couldn't get it done in a legit manner so you took the easy way out. I'm a big boy. Have a look, point out where I was in the wrong. If it's there, I'll admit it, accept it and improve on it. BUT, I'd ask you to do the same.

YESSSSSSSSSS. However, I've mainly seen it when I'm gaining on the car ahead. Not after the other car serves a penalty. It's deliberately used to boost and defend an overtake. Especially at Spa.Don't know if this has been mentioned on here recently, but the amount of 'S' class drivers (B / A DR) who cut infront of you to get a bump boost after loosing speed from a penalty reduction.
It seems like an epidemic, never used to be this bad before...
I only race on euro servers, not sure what it's like in other area's, it's never been as prolific as it's been on Monza and Blue Moon.

Never posted, just a silent spectator for a while.
It's tough to have any success in Race B. If you're outside the top 4 and no one is willing to work with you. The strange penalties definitely make it worse.
Guess need to improve my qualifying time. Currently a 43.1. Doubt I'll manage to get in to the 42's
Oh dear.
Someone just got busted.......

All other points aside, this is from his perspective from your perspective - that is, it's from his car, but only as your console saw it. That means it's subject to the same latency as it is during the race, and so not truly what he saw. There's a lot of choppy motion in there, like he's driving with a knock-off DS4 while on a train, which is travelling through an airstrike during a particularly distracting earthquake, while your car is totally smooth. That's pretty much just latency; your console knows exactly where you are, but it's guessing where he is and what he's doing, then filling in the blanks when it receives real information from his console 0.1-0.2s later. Here's the final two laps of the race from your perspective.
All Lancers were reported. So funny to see this 10:30 at night.

Drive carefully through T1 at the start in Spa and you have 50% chance to get a 7 sec penalty or end up in the kitty litter. An uneven start number (starting on the right side) and hug the inside wall, slow down, turn on a dime in 1st, is the only way to get through that corner unharmed.
