please watch all of this video he has the prior race in it as well. I wont comment just watch the whole videoHa, he definitely punted you on purpose!
You were within your rights to go for a move there, the door's open and your nose is juuust alongside but he makes a fractional move towards you and you carried a little too much speed in and as a result used the side of his ferrari as a nice buffer to swing yourself round. If you look back at it, imagine you hadn't made contact at entry - you still end up quite wide on the exit which would have left him nowhere to go. Not a criticism by any stretch, just one of those racing incidents but always worth thinking about relative positions at entry and exit. In the grand scheme of things a move into turn T13 doesn't get you much though, he still would have had the inside for the chicane so you were probably better off focusing on getting a good exit onto the pit straight and then doing him into T1. He went very deep into the hairpin at T10 under pressure from the NSX just before this incident, so we can surmise that the driver might struggle with heavy braking in pressure situations so use that to your advantage, force him to defend and move him off line to where he's less comfortable - then get him into T1, T4, or T10.
I did 3 Monza races yesterday, and I only saw 1 Megane and 2 Sciroccos. All 3 of them were me.I’m surprised no one chooses the Megane on A race.
It’s brakes are tremendous and it’s plenty fast.
I’m sure if a person knew the track they could win with it.
Like c race the 08 Nissan has been pretty wicked too. I like it’s sound and the cockpit has a usable mirror. Brakes are unbelievably good.
Dare to be different!
A lot of the lesser used cars are good if you spend time getting used to them.

Only reason I bought PS+ back then.I don't have much to say, but I bought GTS on launch and this is the first week im touching online and I am having an absolute BLAST! I didn't think online would be this exciting and amazing honestly lol.
I have 100% the campaign aside from the endurance races so now im playing online![]()
I’ve got a lobby open with Daily Race C settings, we’re running reverse grids with no Q. If anyone would like to join us for some fun and friendly Daily races, shoot me a FR on PSN(TPC_Pigems) and come on out!![]()
Great. All the cool stuff happens when I’m not home!

Got to admit, big willow was mega fun , lots of great racing, i think its always a blast when strategy comes into play
however this was my most controversial moment of the week
Had to watch the replay and took some pictures and i still cant figure it out why the game gifted him the win , unless the speed trap is what decided the winner
The thing about Monza is, when it’s clean, it’s really a blast. Couple of really run four-car scraps for the win in the first two races I braved today. Out braking or getting on the throttle before the guy in front of you to get a run, it’s pure racing, and when played fairly, what this game should be about. But I don’t expect it to remain that way as the week goes on.
That was a fun race!![]()
Good god man what took you so long to go online!!!
Where the hell was the ghosting???!!!
I was at 95, and just need one more clean race to get to 99, then I annihilated a car that I feel was impossible to avoid.
Hopefully that dude learned something about how NOT to re-enter the track. Maybe he also assumed he'd be ghosted.
Does anybody know how the game makes its ghosting decisions?

It does. Hard. But I am having difficulties seeing a better place to put it. Maybe at the home straight? The pen zone here just sucks.

I have noticed for a while that if you're not in the META at places where it consumes the field, that the pack devours you as though you were a threat to their existence... it's true. It's especially a problem if your chosen car makes speed in different places than the META does... it's as though they see your difference as speed as a shortcoming and destroy you.I found out why.
I've been using the Scirocco at Monza and I've been consistently punted from 4/5th on the grid down to plumb last at the end of the 1st. lap.
Then I changed the colour from Boiled Sweet Green to grey and suddenly everyone ignores me.
Now then, what colour's the Megane?
I like where it is, the home straight isn’t really long enough to make it effective. Where it is now, even a .5 is enough to ruin your race, so it makes people think a little more about what they’re about to try(in theory). Race Smarter, Not Harder.![]()
This is very true! The thing is people often assume and use the top ten to determine what car to drive IN RACE. It is the thinking of sheeple.
Sometimes a car that’s not the absolute fastest hotlap car is way better IN RACE.
Plus it’s so dependent on driver too.
I do admit in some cases the races turn into one make but imo it’s the exception to the rule IN REALITY.
In GAME yeah but most players in game don’t pay attention to detail.
This game, yeah it’s forgiving but that doesn’t mean there’s not more depth to it than 99.999999999 percent of people can get.
I personally like most in this game to choose different cars than meta.
‘It’s true tho what Kosmoid said about the sheeple.
They think the meta entitled them, but that’s why you choose a non meta whose strengths work against them.
Cheers
The Monza race is a good example... I think the TT is a better race car than the RCZ, so I stick with it for the races, though I was able to get a slightly faster QT in the Peugeot than the TT. The brakes, stability, and more traction off the apex make it really good in race situations. I can brake 10m earlier than the RCZ in front of me, then ease off them and get the power on in the first chicane, making up 0.3 sec immediately and putting the nose of the TT on the bumper in front of me, then get past before the second chicane using the slipstream through Curva Grande. A very good racing option, despite a slight disadvantage on power. (and it seems more stable in the first Ascari chicane section than the RCZ, which takes the prospect of track limit penalties off the table... which has resulted in more than half of my positions gained... I've had exactly 1 compared to about 10 positions gained behind Peugeots who go over the lines in the second chicane and Ascari.)This is very true! It's flock mentality at it's worst.
If you are in the META they can somehow accept that you are a better driver or that you got lucky but if In a different car? How dare you disobey the call of the META!!
I personally prefer the Renault. It's turn-in off throttle, it's very good brakes, it's ability to change direction fast and it's speed when you short-shift is all to my liking. I shift at 50% of the bar and it pulls all the way.The Monza race is a good example...
