This could be completely wrong, or we could be close, who knows! I guess tuners will be happy, and good thing I've got a very detailed guide for Laguna as the braking zones could vary massively with tuning available in race A? Here's the guide for the coming races though!

Laguna Seca Guide;

Maggiore GP Guide;

I watched your race C group C test streamed today. Basically it’s like Gremlins. Rather than a list of rules saying what you can do, it’s a list of rules saying what you can’t; don’t accelerate in an apex, don’t in any circumstances ever use first gear, don’t rely on the cars around you stayIng on track and don’t expect South African cars to obey the laws of physics.:D:lol:

Don't expect the penalty system to work as intended

Just wait until that entire video is wrong and PD go, HA TIDGE! You're wrong. Although will has said something good on the video they could be using another N category car for the N400 as they need to say tuning allowed apparently? So it might not be tuning. I have asked today whether PD can release the information on that Thursday when it obviously gets confirmed onto their website? We'll see what happens there I guess :). Be helpful for everyone at least.

We had the tuning thing happen a few weeks ago at Fuji with the two Porsches; the tuning was changed on them, but you couldn't tune the car, if that makes sense.

By the time I get the tuning just right and set a decent lap time that I’m willing to race withit will be the 21st of September.

Good evening friends,
After many struggles down to E, 14 seconds of pens in under a lap, clean races, resets, swearing, disconnections, punts and yes pints this week, I just had the best battle I’ve had in a long long time from 99 at the c race. Mano amano. 99 room multiple 22 times up front.
Quality.
When you find Quality, it makes it all worth it. Have I learned anything from this weeks hijinks? I learned to build sr it’s faster to go full E and get CRB on race C, because then you are instantly high B sr.
2 CRB in a row places you back in the land of the living.
If you are at C it’s slow to build up the sr. At that sr you might as well destroy anyone who annoys you, practice up on the dirty game in case you ever need it...Play brutally until you get to E, then the bonus is in play...
I’ve sampled everything sr level wise this week. I think the pens are largely good, go defensive early, hold your line, your inside, it becomes pretty hard to get a pen. Twitchy moves late get sr down which is good. I actually think it’s workin pretty good for the most part. I got some bs sr Monza way more so than c race.
B race I never quald up, At lower sr from last, that one made me laugh.
Lookin forward to some new races!

Edit: This game...When you get a true and fair competition that race...it’s like a little reality that’s formed for a fleeting moment.
It really is amazing how good (and bad) it can make you feel, depending on what happens and who your opponents are...

Cheers

Ye I had completely forgotten about that, Doh!

2 Outta 3 ain't bad though haha! Although I suspect I might move the summary to Monday again, but change the way I edit it a little :P

Gave Race C a quick go in the Sauber. I cannot emphasize this enough: BE CAREFUL on Sector 3. Lots and lots of throttle control required. Just a tad bit too much throttle, and you're gonna be spinning around for days.

Easy no stop, as well. :)

Race A had to test because heard that the cars could be tuned. Well. No.
Tested the PD tune, spun out on the first corner.
No races for me thanks PD. Really dont get why Porsche is letting PD to sandbag their road cars.
Just ridiculous, but as in all GT:s euro and us cars have been made to look way worse than japan cars.
Must be the small man parts in japan, that makes them to do that??:lol:

Because your SR has to be better before your DR can move up.

Edit: and yes! I called C and was right! Howling rotary all week for me!

Is fuel saving needed for race C, or is it full throttle like last week Gr.2?
Full throttle! Use cockpit view HUD Off!

I responded to this earlier in the day.

My answer are:
FPV Falcon GT
E30 M3 Evolution
787B

The Group C rides are the absolute best cars in the game.

First race. P4 was a bit cheeky as it was P3 for about the last 5 laps. We kept back and forth. Hard hard racing. A bit touchy and a bit clean to avoid penalties.
Last two laps more shoving was involved. I'll play that game. Run me wide, I'll run you wide. Anyway, I know my 787B. TCS 0 and that's it. Just drive the sucka! Only choose First gear for more engine braking, after the Dunlop sign. Pluck 2nd gear between turns and get on with it. 1:30.030 was my FL on Lap 4. Was fighting my way up all race.

Second race. A 962 in P2 got clobbered into T1. I bolted.
P8 had run in P2 for a while and pitted mid-race. Game over.

Run whatever you want. The 787B brings out the best in me. It's precise. I was setting Purple Sector 1 until I backed off on the last lap.

Enjoy!
