The Mustang is a great weapon for Bathurst, no oversteer like the jag, seems to lack a bit grunt out of corners but once it kicks in you're back up there and you can't muscle a muscle car out the way

That's definitely the weirdest thing ive seen recently.
Racing tires on a road car ... (race A)
Not sure what they where thinking for this event.
If they thought RH tires made it easier or where trying to speed up the race, or make it harder giving the fact that race tires usually make road cars handle worse.
You must have missed the R32s at Autopolis in the FIA Nations. We had use of Racing tyres there. PLUS, PD tuned the cars to 600BHP! :)

Saw no one tried with the TT so i had to , now I’ve just confirmed, you can take COD flat out with the TT, this is necessary if you’re looking to squeeze that extra tenth out , but its something I wouldn’t try in a race

*managed 44.3 and opt at 44.1

Megane FF goes through there flat out in FP too. Couldn't try it because I'm in battles with players lifting. Even applying brakes.

I ran right behind a RCZ in a McLaren, maybe two metres from his bumper and he brakes as he passed the first wall...
End result, I smacked him right into the corner and got 4 seconds...
So he passed me, and when I caught up he blocked going from the hairpin to the chicane.
I just moved side to side and this time he smashed himself....

after a year and a half, was finally in races with other GTPers (Pigems and williams_v_r)
i was too slow to greet them, sorry guys

It didn’t help that I was slow getting my message off either, it didn’t leave you much time to reply. I’m still getting used to trying to navigate menus/type with my new wheel, the buttons are all different now, so it takes me forever to type anything. It was a pleasure racing with you though man, I hope to see you again soon.

This week on the Weekly Race Guide;
  • I well and truly go deep to Narnia
  • The most Random Penalty in history
  • 2 Chicanes of death
Certainly was an interesting one but hopefully it helps you this week!

P.S. If anyone can work out how that penalty was obtained you win 1 million dollars.

Anyone know if the BoP setting are the same as they were before for the GR4 cars?

Trying to work out of my lap times for Dragon are comparable to last time when it was a 4 lapper

I seem to be slower this time, but should be faster as some laps on medium tyres

Probably just rusty I guess
I think 5% of the time is sharpness

The penalty is a perfect example of my earlier post about a code logic flaw. If it detects contact and a car going off it gives a penalty for forcing a car off the track, even though it’s your own.

Infuriating.

ANy word which RWD cars are working at Seaside? I loathe FWD.
Jags are very popular in my races. Seem competitive.

I’ve tried the Vantage (not great) and the Huracan (much better). The fastest I’ve seen was the NSX. Absolutely blew everything away on mediums at the end.

Race C has fuel load, tyre wear and "real" slipstream.
IIRC the race you're referring to was Race A FF only with weak slipstream so that would probably more than offset the extra grip from the medium tyres.

That's assuming you're talking about lap times in the race rather than qualifying.

Apparently no one can race in Race C, when your pushed wide they get shocked pikachu face when you fight back and then right rearing someone into the chicane is considered ok.

I dont know why i try anymore, all i do is go down SR and DR and just race dirtier people, i cant crawl my way back to 40,000+ DR because ive gone down so many times.

I understand how you feel. Unfortunately this problem is exaggerated by the FF BOP. Every time we have a race where the FF dominates this happen.
