I'm curious what you folks think about this incident.
I got a push from an RCZ, which allowed me to get overlap on the leader. He turned left, into me. My car bounced off the wall, knocking his car into the other wall (I really was turning left as much as I could there).
If there was no overlap, there would have been no contact when he turned left. A smart driver would have given way, knowing he would have the inside for the upcoming right-hander. 💡
Of course, he called me dirty, afterwards.
It seems like the penalty system protocol is that if someone hits you, whatever happens immediately after that is not your fault.
I got the win and a CRB. 👍
Is there any difference between what he does coming out of the hairpin and what you do into the tunnel (apart from wall proximity)? He only needed to give you half a car width's space and he's got you on the next sector. Bad awareness on his part.
