it was a cracker.. i couldn't believe the draft i got at the end of lap 2.. came from about 4 seconds behind
and then i REALLY couldn't believe the Peugeot outran the megane on the last straight. I had a similar finish the other night where i was P2 on the last straight and the nice Brazilian chap in front swerved all over to stop me passing.. even had the brass neck to say sorry in post race chat

Not a problem, at all. I was a bit out of control there, myself. I've never driven that car on that track, and had no idea how it would handle.

Hey man, I’m sorry that it didn’t let you get back in!! I thought you’d be able to just jump right back in, we thought you were stuck on the track, that’s the only reason I did it. I’m really sorry about that man.

You won't be alone. A couple of us usually turn up, and there's more lower ranked drivers showing up than there used to be 👍.

My settings: manual trans, TC 0, BB -2, weak ABS. The best way I've found to get around turn 1 & the uphill left before the top of the hill is to get to the brake point & hold the brake until the front begins to smoke slightly. Once it does, let off the brake & the car will not over speed the corner. It took me some time to get comfortable with that method. It's just a thought. And the last corner, I hit the brakes once, just enough to arrest the momentum & let the car coast through the turn. My goal is to always coast & occasionally use some throttle to maintain speed. But the #1 rule for me is to point the car toward the apex. I can typically see where the pavement "points", marking the apex, even if someone knocks the cone out of the way.
That's the beauty of practice. I attempt all sorts of questionable stuff when I'm practicing, to see what will work.I saw you on my outside & it looked like you might have been inching over towards me. Then I saw the gap open & heard the gravel fly. I knew that you had stolen my signature move.
