Wow! Things got a little messy tonight:

Notice @sturk0167 is almost in Los Angeles, all the way to the right.

Here's @Qyn joining the balloons, with some help from me (sorry bud).

Track limits were very much respected on Bonus Race A.

And finally, 6 Supras overshooting Fuji's turn 1 together.

The Bathurst-Miata combo was great and the race was a little bit more civilized:

After we made contact in turn 1 my car was unsettled. After I hit the dirt, I knew that was all she wrote. Next thought, <ooh look mount PigemsSturk > I had to go for it . Man, I couldn't stop laughing. When I opened this thread and saw the pic, I fell out again . Great races everyone.

Well that was in interesting morning/afternoon. Bit disappointed that dirt tyres weren't an option. I feel I might have done better with them on . I kinda feel sorry for @K1LLD0z3R . Every time we race I seem to nail him. I think I got him twice today .

I saw @Qyn 's aerial show. I just assumed it was @Pigems . The Veyron is a bit of a freight train around Big Willow. I had a bit too much power at the start and found myself surging ahead. Unfortunately I wasn't quite sure what to do with it and going round the second corner I had momentum. Saw a gap between @Pigems and @K1LLD0z3R I think, and figured I could squeeze in between them to get through. Yeh....no! The track is wide enough for three abreast there, but if @K1LLD0z3R was to have moved across to let me through, chances were he would have kept going and slid off the track .

I'm glad I didn't race the M4 during the dailies.. the tyres were very unhappy and I had to pit.

Japanese circuits... what can I say? Suzuka the Corvette sounded like a boat, and Fuji the Supra handled like one !

Yeah, there was never much of a chance that this would work out.

Here's that turn 2 logjam from the perspective of @Invisigoth (he had a good view). Nobody's fault. We just all got a little too close for comfort. I made my track re-entry on top of him.


@Sven Jurgens why was I ghosted when I reentered the track? Cars get wiped out all the time from reentries. Is it because my car went airborne? I remember one of your videos, where you pulled off a really nice punt almost in the same spot when you reentered the track through the air.
Had PD changed track reentries since your video? It surely would be a good idea for reentries to be ghosted for a couple seconds.
This was in a lobby, rather than Sport Mode. Maybe that makes a difference. Track limits/penalties were turned off.

3 wide round Coca Cola with @sturk0167 and @GOTMAXPOWER battling for the lead at Fuji, with no contact despite all being in those ridiculous Supras. Awesome stuff.

Good news. The damage assessments from last night's Bonus Race at Williow Springs are here.

For those that chose to drive the Toyota 86 and Audi TT, there was only minimal damage. Paint will be required. Cost is around $100-200. Invoices have been mailed.

Those in the NSX, Jaguar and Porsche had front headlight damage, they will need to be replaced. Cost is between $1000-4000. Invoices are in the mail.

For the Bugatti, the rear tail lights will need to be replaced. At a cost of $250,000 each. The invoice has been mailed.

I think it's just the track.
This is what Big Willow did to my new Camaro on the same day I bought it. I was totally uninsured. I went straight from the dealer to the track.

You These are so much fun, I did tend to get rather intoxicated though as Saturday night is my Friday night. So I actually might get a bit more competitive on Fridays as I will have to work the next day.

So a small request @Pigems , if you can post the bonus race cars on Thursday, I will be set for Friday as soon as I can get home.

also, @Invisigoth it’s all good. Some famous driver once spoke of such gaps. Pretty sure he was for it.

Also, also, I thought that the emoji were broken but now I see that they parked up above. So there they are, just imagine them interspersed in some sort of proper place.

I definitely wasn't aiming for anyone. I've never been upset by anything in those Saturday lobby races.
I don't even remember seeing you until the last second, because you were below the embankment, from my vantage point.

You didn't notice the tongue poking out smiley? ? I think by the point you were getting back onto the track you didn't really have much say in where your car ended up. You just kinda pointed it in the general direction of the track and hoped .
