I mentioned last week that I had a great tune for the F1500T-A. Courtesy of @fordlaser and shared elsewhere in this forum:

This tune is for Brands Hatch, but you can try it on the other tracks as well, just adjust the final gear to suit the track.

Edit: I have made some changes to my tune, they are in BOLD numbers, it can do mid 1:08s in the race at Brands Hatch.

I'm going 70:30 in the sense of baby:me for my off at Spa! She'd been crying a couple of minutes and if I'm awake while mom is asleep and I ignore her - life not worth living! Really enjoyed the races though

Sorry, @Pigems , @suprajef and @NosOsH , I wanted to give you a race, but for some reason on my second stop, it stopped fueling at 1.4 laps. :boggled: Had to stop for a 3rd time.

Also, Pigems, I knocked NosOsh into you. Not his fault. :guilty:

I think I got you on this one man :scared:. Sorry. I was heavy on the stop pedal. Don't remember if someone knocked me into you. I was no good anyway. I was laughing so hard I was missing gears, breaking points, and turn-ins. :lol:

Not quite but I can apportion blame as I was sufficiently distracted!! The spin was a result of distraction, pressure from Pelikan and maybe a couple too many beers:boggled:! Plus I find Les Combes stupidly slippery in that Lambo! Was making too many little mistakes anyway, was bound to bin it at some point :D

Have to say there's a big satisfaction racing with people when you know that any contact wasn't deliberate and you're not getting pushed off the road! Would be helpful if I was in a different time zone but will definitely try and join you guys again

Tonight’s Bonus Race will be a Special one make race using the 1997 Toyota MR2 GT-S at Le Sarthe No Chicane for 6 laps. Fuel will be x9, Tire wear x8, Slipstream will be Strong and the cars will be Stock (100/100). It should be a really fun race. :)

Surprisingly little bump drafting going on... watching a replay I see @05XR8 @Chevy Heavy and @NosOsH three abreast for about half of Mulsanne straight while @sturk0167 happily bumps SidOri99 up behind them with an extra 15mph. There were other bump drafts going on too, but considering the number of US flags I was amazed at how little of it there was given the ample opportunity.

There were other bump drafts going on too, but considering the number of US flags I was amazed at how little of it there was given the ample opportunity.

I was draft bumping @suprajef on the last 2 laps trying to help us catch up to @GOTMAXPOWER but it must be the Canadian in me because I felt bad for hitting him every time, so I just started going around him and then letting him get into the draft to go back around me instead. :lol:

I had a few opportunities to bump draft, but didn't remember until it was too late, that no one gets SR down while in the private lobby :crazy:.

I hadn't even thought of that. I wouldn't do it with strangers but amongst trusted drivers it seems obvious to me to work together to catch the lead then sort out who gets it once you're there :D

I note the physics have changed a little since GT6 too, in 6 you could ease up on a car in front then just push. In GTS if you make contact you bounce and it's a series of small collisions.

Fuel x9 and strong slipstream let me sit behind people at half throttle on Fuel Map 6 for the first 2 laps, I was either going to have a quick pitstop or one less 👍

I saved enough fuel in the 2nd stint to do the last lap flat out to try for FL but @Pigems smashed it by about 3 seconds.
 
What’s a great night of racing that was last night! So many fun battles all over the evening, thanks again for making it another awesome night fellas!! All replays are now shared and tagged GTP, TPC and WeeklyRaces. :)

I was amazed how much ground me and @suprajef were able to make up on @GOTMAXPOWER with bump drafting. I guess he was fuel-saving also (He stopped once, and I stopped 3 times, due to some sort of fueling glitch). :irked:
When I entered the straight, he was a tiny spec in the distance. I'd say he was about 10 seconds ahead. At the end of the straight, Pokey was on him, and in an effort to make sure I definitely didn't run into him again, I drove myself into the sand. :lol:

It really only works in lobby racing. In Sport Mode, you'd be killing each other with SR downs.
If I tried to pass Pokey, it wouldn't have done either one of us any good.

Hey, Pigems. Next time you might have to crank the fuel up to 11. :lol:
