Surprisingly little bump drafting going on... watching a replay I see @05XR8 @Chevy Heavy and @NosOsH three abreast for about half of Mulsanne straight while @sturk0167 happily bumps SidOri99 up behind them with an extra 15mph. There were other bump drafts going on too, but considering the number of US flags I was amazed at how little of it there was given the ample opportunity.

I thought @NosOsH was going to fall in behind me but he went for the middle and none of us wanted to give an inch. The three of us had a great battle the last couple laps swapping positions. Missed my braking on a few corners due to the draft. Great fun.
 
Decided to bump draft when I could see cars that were possible to catch. At one stage, I was alone and catching two cars without me in a slipstream. I think my speed was about 260km/h. In a draft, think I was at about 277km/h.

That last lap, didn't look possible to catch the leaders ahead. So, was fun just for us three to go for it! Cars behind weren't even in vision. When we get to the braking point, I slowed up to get the cut back and then "POOF!" another MR-2 is up my inside. I was like, "Oh shoot! What magic is this?!!". Good stuff.

That was me when you shot past me early on the long straight about lap four. There'd been no-one within five seconds behind me for a full lap and I didn't notice you coming out of the pits only a couple of seconds behind me.

hopefully be able to make this tonight... i'm working tomorrow and then off Sunday... so probably another 4am finish tonight and then up at 8am for work. Damn you world time difference :sick:

Bonus Race 1 - N100, ‘72 Alpine A110 @ Dragon Trail Gardens II, 3 Laps. Sport Medium Tires, Stock Specs(No BoP).

Bonus Race 2 - Gr.X, Mazda LM55 VGT @ SSRX, 1 Lap. Racing Soft Tires, Fuel x8, Stock Specs(No BoP), Slipstream Strong.

Bonus Race 3 - ‘66 Beetle 1200 @ Monza, 2 Laps. Sports Hard Tires, Slipstream Strong, Boost Strong, BoP On. Oh, and it’s a DIRTY RACE, so Anything Goes! :lol:

@sturk0167 was right about the barriers. @GOTMAXPOWER found them to give the optimum chicane line

Also a gif to sum up that whole chaotic race

The best thing about those barriers is that they load differently for everybody, you seem cars doing totally random jumps without slowing down. I saw a great one from @Pigems on lap 2.

Everybody who touched me at Monza has been reported to PD for griefing :lol:

A L I E N haha, great driving, I was hoping to grab a chance to try to defend against you second race but had a fubar start.
At any rate at least I didn’t spill my macchiato as you sped off into the distance in that first run. I think my tcs3 was slowing me up.
Lol (all in good fun guys!)

I have to say I had to bail to get my kid from work or I would have stayed till the ending. Sorry I think right before I ran out the door I may have ruined the bonus alpine race, not sure but there was ghosting and I quit. I just disnt have time for practice on all the combos, and I will always warn folks beforehand if I haven’t driven them before...
I almost pulled over the second race at Autopolis on that left hand turn, but on replay things looked good no contact...

As always thanks @Pigems for bringing folks together. It’s a lot of time, and very positive and cool that you provide us all with the opportunity to enjoy racing...
