For the ghosts on Rivals mode; if you don't like them run your runs at one session - don't exist until you had run all your attemps. This way you don't need to saw those ghost - if you're faster than those 3 ghost you get at the start of session.

This is what i usually do but with the currently weekly my time is not as good as could be since that track and weather combination are hard to get right driving on the edge for 3 laps. I would like to have another crack at that one but not sure i want to bother, a simple button on option in the hud menu to disable ghosts should be an easy thing to do.

Late post: The Jaguar XJR-9 graces Monza GP with a pace setter rivals event.

The Audi R8 LMS runs a hot lap in Monument Canyon Array Peak layout for today. I have failed to mention that the weekly event is a pace setter at snowy Tuscany and open for Hypercars (I'm going with the Porsche 918.)

Happy New Year all!

Here we have a fresh set of rivals events, today's daily looks interesting :D

And here's my rivals rank for December, nothing exciting again in terms of XP rewards, so therefore I'm giving up with the daily ones and will only complete them from time to time (mostly weekends) :guilty:

Just impossible, too many distractions around the house! :banghead: I did manage a 7:01:XX lap of the Nurb and I'll leave it at that :irked:

Well, I was thinking about improving my 6:3X:XX (something like this - can't remember exactly) :mischievous:

...and today we have a Hot Lap around Havana Capitolio Pass (still the worst optimized track in my humble opinion) behind the wheel of Renault R.S. 01.

On the base game, maybe (it was worse before the last patch). Yas Marina is terrible in the first expansion pack, stutters like a bad PS3 game.

I'm happy I did my best lap on my final available attempt on the daily and weekly. I didn't do that well on the weekly though, because I think people could use their own upgraded cars. I don't have any cars in that category so I just used one of the available ones to borrow.

Today's daily is a Breakout Event in Tuscany Collina Town (again ) behind the wheel of Toyota GR Supra.

The Honda Civic Type R Racing visits reverse Knockhill at dusk for a pace setter event.

Tuesday is a Breakout in Interlagos aboard the AM Vulcan, meh.

I remember that we had Breakout at Interlagos quite recently but can't quite remind myself what was the car used there.

I was annoyed at myself with this one. On my last available attempt, everything was perfect until I reached the final corner where I choked and ran slightly wide, missing 200 easy points.

Wednesday's rivals event is a Pace Setter around Daytona Road Course using Audi R8 from the forgotten LMP900 class.

I enjoyed that combination considerably more than I thought I was going to do. I might try a few races in it next.

That's one reason I like Rivals. You get to try cars that you might pass by when selecting something to race with in custom mode, usually moving on to more popular options. Rivals "forces" you to give them a go - often with positive results.
For instance recently there was the Pagani Huayra BC, never thought to try it before, thought it was great.

I have exactly the same feeling, that Audi was very enjoyable to drive, fast and planted.
