Yeah, me and Ender raided Polana. Got those tents but we ran into someone at the supermarket. Had to take him out. Got a broken leg. Ender escorted me out. I used my morphine to fix him earlier so I am currently waiting on backup.

Fully stocked with all basic survival gear. Am actually starting to thrive in Urban enviornments like Cherno! It get shot more often in the woods! All I need now is a bigger pack.

New tent at south camp. Assorted ammo (DMR, MP5, etc.) and meds are now restocked. Good game tonight guys. Awesome run with Micheal and Fluid for the meds. Have to do it again sometime.
Dom, you keep up that squad command and I may never do ops without you. A true tactician.
Uneventful but fun run with Tasty, Blaze and friends that got most of the ammo. Good kicks too. You all make me laugh so much.

I never want this to end so lets all play fair and call out those who don't. You guys are awesome :3

After you you guys left. Beavis and I met up with Micheal and Ender. All 4 of us died by a heli crash that some guys where by. Not sure if they even saw the crash but they had a camp near it and Walker went in and took what he could from them.

Re spawned in balota and stole loot from some guys bag who didn't shoot me and went to cherno to meet up with Micheal. Heading to fire station and as Micheal crawls under the wall he gets gunned down. Apparently two guys where holding down the fire station so I waited and got one.
Ran out of ammo so grabbed the guy I shots ak and hid again because I could hear footsteps. I guess someone else wanted in on the Acton and took out the other guy on the ground level. I had an Alice pack and some basic gear as well as an ak and an m4a3 cco in his bag with no ammo, a m1911 with a decent supply of mags.
I get ready to take out the next guy and he gets a headshot. lol I am out before I could even shoot. I spawn right by cherno and he didn't even take my gear so I grab it on and all I need is a map before I leave cherno. Then I spot someone standing in the firestation. I take my time and take a shot.....you know I hate the standing death bug I really do. Of course he is already dead and I look to my left and sure enough someones aiming right at me. As soon as I look over he shoots and I am out. Sadly I spawned at the east coast so I just gave in and got offline. -_- you would have thought I would have learned the 1st time I died in that area to leave asap XD

Same lol if it makes you feel better I have yet to run with him in game as well. Got to say he has an amazing deep voice lol

I liked the supermarket gunfight yesterday before the server shutdown.
Was raining hard, which wasn't good for my framerate. Some of us were in the store for the loot, but we weren't the only ones there.
I fell back before and didn't go directly to the store, but circled around it.
I could see someone open fire on the supermarket from the road with a full automatic weapon. Shot a couple of rounds in his direction, someone else of our group finished him off when he fell to the ground. Good thing I had packed up on meds and bloodbags just before, so I could patch up the person who was fired upon (don't remember who it was, sorry)

Just a remark on the travel to the airport west of cherno. You guys just ran onto the runway. If there were snipers nearby, which is always possible, you guys would have been without cover, especially if you throw a flare and keep standing still
After the practise session on Wednesday I do try to cover the rear more. (or it's just that I don't want to lose the Alice pack)

Yeah, one would think we have Barry White in our team. But Dom is really good, tactical overwatch and covering. Awesome. And he throws some funnies out like the kneecap ones.

Oh wow. I wish I could pull that voice off at all times. I do have to wonder if it's really Arnold, the mod is very, very popular and I've heard that in person Arnie is very foul mouthed....hmm.

Debrief of last night:

Most began away from South Camp, but a good handful made it there. There was some off the wall scouting taking place back towards Stary that yielded no real significant results.

The three that went to Stary circled back and waited at South Camp as there was a rescue endeavor taking place at Polano and others making their way. No contacts reported by the team already at South Camp.

Once all assembled (seven in total), we were to hold on a raid at NWAF. Raid fell through. I made the decision to not waste the evening and chose a recon point over 9km away, figuring it would give us time to practice and might have yielded a water craft.

We moved out and immediately took up a light movement formation, 10 m spread between 6-7m across.

We received a spotting of a downed bird from forward recon and decided it was in our best interest to move to it's location and see what we could find. No hostiles encountered the entire trip, though some zed were made quick work of from small arms fire and sniper rounds.

After the bird was empty, it was pretty much a called night.


I do have video of some of the moving, but it's choppy and distorted, not to mention background noise becomes an issue pretty quickly in.

Alright, well that's my report. Heading to work. I may or may not be on DayZ, but will be on TeamSpeak when I get home as well as on the forums most of the day.

^Try capturing vids with afterburner.

Neema recommended it, and I used it now, and it doesn't drop frames in game, lets you record as long as you want. compressed or un- .avi. Really good.

@Neema : do you know to enable my own mic with afterburner. I record the others but mine stays mute?

That's probably because your own voice isn't in the output signal, which afterburner records.
No idea if afterburner has an option to record the mic input aswell.
I haven't used afterburner to record vids yet, only to take screenshots/show graphics info on Project Cars.

Sorry, I've not got a clue... I think they only added audio capture a few versions back so I suppose it's still got a way to go, I take it you've tried the different Audio Source Select options in the settings? I haven't even used my mic yet come to think of it.

There are some videos of Doctor Kimball playing Arma II which are just as hilarious (and rude) but for fear of the AUP I won't post them, I laughed so hard when he was shouting at himself, he's just brilliant!
