Here's a combat zeroing guide for the DMR, I read someone else's Arma 2 guide and test fired the DMR at these ranges. For any sniper missions, I would recommend another rifle that can be zeroed. I like the DMR, because it has nice follow through for sustained firing or can be used for well-aimed shots. Also the DMR can work with NVGs, it's an awesome tool for support by fire positions with a decent magazine size. Max effective range is going to be appx 650 for a point target. 800 for an area target.

This is not ballistically perfect, but if you write this down on a note card if you are an avid DMR user, it will serve you well when on a mission.

So that's why I only shot the guy in the foot at stary 800 meters away.

Today only did logistics from the inter camp to the final. 10*4km. now I'm done for today. Tomorrow some raids o the airfield.

Also I gave to some of you my camp position for those who's camps were glitched. Sadly we lost 1 tent due to a tree glitch and 1.5 tents worth of stuff when the server restart happend. (1 kobra, 1 ak, 1 m24, 1mk28 )

we now have mostly two empty tents, use them 👍

I still will be up on the forum a bit, so if any question shoot away.

Also pure coincidence, it seems my camp is near some other camp of our squad, that is a good thing for faster team up.

Edit uploading my killstreak from yesterday, had to downgrade the quality a lot as I can't wait 2 hours. Better version will be in my upcoming feature DayZ video.

About the tents, it appears some gear was lost in general but also keep in mind that due to bugs, new tents don't save gear until a server restart. So when you pitch one, save the tent, then wait for restart before stocking it up.

I have died yet again at the north west airfield, but this time it was down to me looking over a ledge. Then again I could of gone to bed earlier if some rubble didn't get in my way, which resulted in a free zombie meal.

However will this stop me playing DayZ, well not really.

Do you plan on going on another run to the north west airfield? My next run may be with the group, but be warned it will be with a fresh character. Unless I can find some good gear and another pair of NVG's before meeting up.

Had a good run last night. Took our time, used tactics. Got in and out of NWAF with no casualties, no friendly fire and no hostile activity from other players. Two crashed helis with good loot.

From the position we continued to take up, had anyone been dumb enough to actually fire on us, we would have been able to determine point of origin and lay down four, count 'em FOUR MGs worth of suppressive fire. Not too shabby at all.

Once again, good run last night guys.

I got on a few hours later and ran around with Gaius, Beavis, and Micheal. We basically just met up and headed to check the camps after the server restart that beavis did to fix the tents and vehicles so they would spawn back in.

On my way towards them I found a crashed heli and went to the tree lines while I waited for the 3 of them to make their way to me before I went in to see the loot.

On his way towards me beavis found another crashed heli that just had 2 ammo box's.
Once everyone made their way to my location we went in and found an FN FAL with nvgs that Micheal took for over watch when the server is night. Other then that there wasn't much there.

Now I am waiting for the guys to wake up for night ops on the server. Only a few people online atm so it won't be too hard to get around.

=EZ= is the tag that stiggie put his clan name choice Easy Company so I would assume that is what we put down. I think its pretty much whenever you decide to update your character name Nitewing.

Wish I could be there. I love night ops and now that I have NVGs I will love it even more. But, due to yesterday I have a ton of work to do. I will probably be home at my normal 5 (CST), time.

Also, feedback on my lead last night would be fantastic so I don't repeat mistakes. (Mainly worried about how I speak to people during an OP).

You honestly did great Nite especially when Blaze got online and tried to take control and you just told us to not break away. Smart move lol I mean I don't think anyone would have but its a great thing to do.

It is best to be firm and on point during Op's in certain areas like the airfield or stary. I don't want someone to be lax at all on the group or we risk others slacking off.

Only thing I didn't like was how much we where in the open and going just a little bit to slow for my taste lol with being that open. I mean if there was just one sniper there he could have taken us all out in my opinion at least. I would have rather kept on the back side of the buildings while we worked our way up slowly instead of being in the front of the buildings.

Lol, sorry Tastey. I totally planned on running night ops this morning. I got home at like 3 am last night and seriously thought about just staying up. Instead I fell asleep and spit in my phones face as its puny alarm tried to wake me up this morning.
