Awww yeah!!!

Me and a friend found 2 heli crashes right next to each other, found some decent loot.
Grabbed myself a DMR + 3 mags.

2 minutes after we left the heli crashes, we saw a tent, which was very well hidden.
Inside we found 4 (!) ghillie suits, 2 to each of us, and 2 NVG's, but we both had NVG's.
Poor dude who stashed this stuff in his tent... :D

Now, only need to find rangefinder and I got all the gear I will ever need. :dopey:
 
Had to make myself get off APB. We just had the worst luck with groups. Non stop they kept owning us. I think I might make a criminal finally and take a break from my enforcer for the day. Be back on APB in like 15 or so, had to get off before I started raging.
 
Decided to hop on DayZ for a while today on DE 1185 and I found an offroad truck, MP5SD, AKM, M14 and a tent, so i've took it back to where south camp would have been if anyone wants to hop on later and meet me there? :)
 
Wow, talk about empty. The TS server is completely vacant. Then again it is noon on a weekday.

Probably will not be hopping on DayZ for a bit. Maybe Lingor but not Chernarus. At least not until everything is sorted out or a lot of us are playing. I know I should not get too attached to my stuff but I like my stuff. DMR+CCO SD+NVG's=Night Terror.

Always up for APB if I am on the computer. Looking to get BF3 but chances are I will not till after the move. Among other games we could play are EVE Online. Its slow and mostly PvE for beginners but a cool game. Unfortunately its not FTP and takes forever (Real time) to train skills. Patience required. I have some free invites to hand out if anyone wants to try. Gives a free 21 day trial and if you subscribe I get a nice present which I can share.

Also, I recovered my old Steam account and have been using that for APB so I will not be using the one I signed up with for the forums anymore. If you would like my real Steam info ask me on TS.
 
So BattleEye thinks they have found the fix for the hacking. I guess they are rolling it out slow, but it is supposed to lead to the end of all client side script execution.

So far they have removed the abilitiy to spawn vehicles, go invisible, wipe tents, download server files (which holds the rcon pass), and I think everything that can be used on other players like mass nuking and teleportation. Yay no more Hunger games!!!

So, maybe this is the end of scripting? Hopefully...

@Walker Here is the thread if you want to implement the blocking on the server (I think that is how it works?, or maybe it is on the hosters end.... IDK)

Nice, I will get on dayz again then. Only on my days off though. It is a lot harder for me lately to get on dayz during days I work but I would love to start playing it with everyone again. Go between APB and Dayz lol XD

I installed the new anti-hacking things, thanks for the heads up Fluid. Hopefully this helps. I spend a couple hours in the game tonight, it was pretty quiet, but was working on fixing up a GAZ (almost got all the parts) and then a blue van rolls up in a nearby town and I managed to steal it :) And witnessed no hacks! Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Blue van at old south, loaded with weapons and stuff, have fun!
 
hmm, im having trouble getting into our DayZ server, got the right patch and stuffs but I keep getting stuck on the loading screen, been sitting there for like 15 minutes, the game hasn't crashed or anything and i've tried restarting the game a few times but its still not working, anyone got any ideas?
 
Keep trying different servers, I've been stuck on loading some times as well, it's basically down to trial and error. But after you get in once it should become easier for other servers too.
 
Never mind, fixed it just cause i'm awesome like that. Anyways, was heading to south and I stumbled across a tent with a gps and ghille suit in it so thats me quite happy, just need to wait for it to become daytime then I think i'll go back on for another we session
 
Bats and I have been pretty deep in The Secret World and Counter-Strike: GO for the last few days. Pretty sure we'll stay in that vein. We'll see.

I got that too then realized I hadn't updated to 1.7.2.5... not sure why in your case but worth a check.
 
Hey guys, I have been having some severe problems with my computer. My hard drive was getting towards it's limit and my computer started beating the crap out of itself. Basically it developed a bipolar disorder, Alzheimers and full blown aids.

My processor wouldn't stop running full power doing god knows what, downloading/installing/uninstalling/copy and pasting/browsing the internet was basically impossible.

I decided to free up space by moving all my games and steam to my ssd. My computer wouldn't allow this to happen. I ended up being able to force it but idk if I was successful or if my computer ate it somewhere between now and then, but I managed to lose basically everything and the backups I made.

Couldn't system restore due to lack of allocated space, I only had save points within the last 48 hours.

Been in safe mod for longer than I would ever like, was able to fix my processor problems in the eyes of windows, but my manufacture's b-s management software crap doesn't think so.

Also, skype is the most piece of **** program ever coded and it's existence should be wiped as well as all employers brutally mutilated and throw into a active volcano (Please excuse the hostility, but it is still not enough to express my current hatred.) At least include a VPS skype, I'd rather not have a ****ing open portal on my computer.

Apart from skype being totally annoying, I still do not know what is wrong with my computer. It is not a virus or anything. My hard drive might just be on it's last leg. I think my ssd was spitting out the same errors though.

Anyways, finally got steam to install. Going to try to download my games and just deal with it for a short while. Luckily I just got on a fiber network.

A total wipe and re install may be in order, or maybe it is something that can be repaired. Gonna go talk to the techs when I feel like living without a computer for a couple of days.

So, any input or ideas appreciated, at least wish me luck :)

Gonna be playing Starcraft 2 since it is all I have right now. Have a hard copy of CS:S and TF2, so I might install that also.

haha, I did a defrag first thing.

My school gave me like a full diagnostic and repair program, running that with seagate's seatools, and some windows memory fix program that seems like it is pretty low level.

I'll drop it off for format in a few hours in it isn't fixed.
 
Have you tested your RAM? Could be that a stick has gone bad. Don't ask me how to test it because I don't know, I don't even know what the symptoms of bad RAM are but if you're at a loss you could give it a try.
 
I will check. If I did burn up some ram it would explain alot, but I don't see how that is possible unless it has a manufacturer's defect since everything is basically still new.
 
Ok, I ran all that software and everything is fixed. Have no idea what the problem was, wish I knew, but I let everything run its course, asked for a restart and it works.
