I agree with you. Switching to hard will render ennemis less stupid, they'll try to attack you on your flank instead of rushing towards you (well except the Hive). It's more challenging, and more rewarding, in this way.

That's funny. I've been playing on normal and the AI does flank me. I'll try the earlier missions on Hard to see if it's any different.

I didn't buy my copy (it's my brother's PS4 and his digital copy) but I started off not enjoying it and now I'm starting to like it... A little. More than I did, at any rate. I haven't tried the Crucible yet but that raid boss thing I did with two randomers was quite fun. I do hate the no-respawn areas full of the Hive things. I really can't get over how unoriginal the names are for things.

I hate the PvP mode (Crucible, Iron Banner and so on). It's just the same crap as in other multiplayer games such as Call of Duty or Battlefield (I hate these 2 franchises). Run to the combat zone, kill, get killed (or sometimes get killed immediately), respawn, run to the combat zone, kill / get killed, respawn, run to the combat zone and so on. Just f....ing boring and uninteresting.

The coop multiplayer mode is much more fun IMO. Strike missions are cool and just require a 3-person fireteam (friends or not).
I still haven't tried a raid mission, I have to find a few hours free and 5 friends to start a raid mission and see how it goes. As they say, a raid takes several hours to complete.

I just did the bit with, um... Trying to avoid spoilers, on the moon, the mission called Sword of Crota. That could've been an entire game on its own, I hope there are more bits like that.

There are many more. The game gets better and better. I think the people who don't like it or say it's boring are not getting past earth and are not playing with friends.
 
The best way to make this game better would be to have keyboard and mouse support

After getting to Lvl 8 in the beta and having some nice armour and weapons I was a little naffed off I had to start again, but got to Lvl 5 today.

The enemies seem smarter and more aggressive compared to the beta and also less ammo/weapon/armour pickups dropped. It certainly makes for some interesting play. I was also gutted to see the Explore portion of the game isn't showing up for me?

I wonder if they've moved it to PS+ side of things.
 
So, you know that bounty to 'Kill 3 or more enemies with a single super use, 20 times'? If I'm a hunter, does this mean I have to kill three enemies with each shot of the golden gun? Because killing one enemy per shot isn't giving me any progress. Does that then mean I need the skill to shoot through enemies with it? That's the next thing I unlock (at level 15) but I've had this bounty sitting in my inventory for ages. Also, killing two enemies with a single fusion gun burst was surprisingly tricky, I just did it by going back to patrol Earth as a level 14, weakening groups of enemies then trying to time it right. Pairs of Shanks from a small distance were quite reliable, I suppose. Earlier on I struggled for ages to get 9, then I got 11 in a single patrol in, what, 20 minutes?
 
Just got to level 10 with my Human Titan and I'm having an absolute blast. I just completed the Strike mission on Earth (with randoms, unfortunately) and I can't wait to get better gear and a higher level to take some more on. I can't wait until my vacation to really sink my teeth into this game.
 
Well this is my main focus at least til Horizon 2 comes out so if any of you want to team up on the Xone shoot me a pm here.

The only reason im not playing now or this weekend is im on a 11 hr road trip to Thunderhill Raceway to race in the LeMons race. We are attempting a record with 242 crap can cars on track at the start with the new 5 mile course.


Otheewise i would be drinking beer, loosing sleep playing Destiny.

Achieved level 6 yesterday with my Warlock.
Then I went to the Vanguard Armory to purchase a few cheap little things: sniper rifle, rocket launcher, gun, etc. All have an attack level 60 (compared to the guns I had before, which all were around 30). Now I'm ready for strikes, patrols and the moon missions.

Are you talking about the codes I posted a few pages before?
17 of them will give you Grimoire cards.
The others will give you Emblems and 2 Shaders. The shaders are usable at level 20 to customize your armor.

By the way, I've found one more code for another emblem:
Note of Conquest: X4C-FGX-MX3

These codes are to be redeemed on the Bungie.net site (create your profile if you don't have one).

Bastion is probably the worst map ever created in a multiplayer shooter.

The maps on these crucible games are TERRIBLE! Hunters are OP as hell on big maps like Bastion. Titans are OP as hell on small maps. Warlocks and crowd control are absolutely useless.

Vehicles? Forget it. You shouldn't be able to drive a pike up the stairs and into every little facet of the map. Whoever is on the pike is God. It's absolutely ridiculous.
