I was just thinking exactly that, about the revolvers, earlier today.

I think I missed out on the 3 strange coin reward for the weekly strike :( I wanted to get it done before I went to sleep last night but totally forgot. I guess I'll just have to stock up as much as I can before the weekend.

I have a question. Yesterday I saw someone with an Exotic weapon that was a Shotgun. The weird thing is, is that it was on his primary. Is that a real thing, or did I just have bad eye's at the time?

You saw the Universal Remote - it is a thing.. primary shotgun. Some people are running around with 2 shotguns equipped (primary and secondary), I have seen it as well.

I don't normally do things like this but have you guys done the loot cave on earth yet? I got 2 purple and probably 15 blue orbs in around 20 minutes and countless greens. At least 40 of them. I've done several instances while doing it too. In probably 30 minutes I wentup 2 criptarch levels.

Yeah, I've done it a bit, I don't know how some people do it for an hour or more but I guess it gets addictive. Weirdly (but not entirely surprisingly) it's the most social location in the entire game, there's a whole etiquette to it and everything. I like that it's a thing, though, a load of super badass legendary Guardians just camping out in a field on Earth grinding an endless, defenceless stream of Hive into engrams... Yeah, we're making our own stories alright!

So I'm done farming for the night, I've ended up with 426 spinmetal, 300 helium filaments and 157 spirit blooms, that's enough for 17 trade-ins which is 85 Crucible marks and 425 XP, which leaves only 15 marks left to get by - ugh - actually playing Crucible, I think that's a tolerable amount for one week though. Also because my legendary for completing another Vanguard rank was a machine gun and I already have a better one (even though it's entirely random it still felt disappointing) I decided to start working on faction XP, I've started with Future War Cult for absolutely no reason besides the fact that their colours suit my shader and Sparrow better than the other two. I got 600 XP (out of 1500 for rank 1) for them tonight so after I put all of tomorrow's bounties and some more patrolling towards their progress I should be able to level that up pretty soon.

I'm sitting on close to 400 spinmental, and 3 or 4 rare engrams thanks to the really random farming session started by neema. 👍

I hit my 100 Vanguard mark cap simply by doing strikes all day yesterday

Never a big fan of repetitive grinding though I guess i do miss out on getting more drops.

I will give the Earth cave a few goes later today and see if i can level up my cryptarch guy.

Are you guys buying most of your weapons/armour or are they coming from drops? I bought my first legendary chest armour earlier as I just reached vanguard rank 2, but with the 100 per week limit buying it would take a while?

I've purchased a few weapons early on but everything in that regard have come from engrams; my gauntlets and leg armor were purchased from the Titan Vanguard, and my exotic helm was purchased from Xur. I also have an exotic chest piece that I bought from Xur (courtesy of an exotic engram) but I'll have to pick up a legendary helm before I even think about using it daily.

As for the limit, it depends. If you've maxed out Vanguard and Crucible marks for two straight weeks and have the necessary level you can purchase a full set of armor quickly.

I just solo'd the Lv. 26 Weekly Heroic. I'd do the Lv. 28 Nightfall but I don't think I can sit through it again.

Ah well. Refresh in a couple of hours - Queen's Wrath, here I come!

Didn't we already do the weekly heroic with @Clark? I did it again with @dhandeh yesterday but it seemed way harder than when we did it, I don't know why. Man, I need to get skills so I can solo the Thorn one, I could probably do it if it weren't for being rushed by those Wizards just before the door opens.

What's the best way to get your vanguard level up?

This is probably the fastest - after you do your bounties, of course - but if you're doing it solo you should take jobs in the order of VIP (these give you 25XP for driving to a place to kill something), kills and collection, I usually accept and then abandon the scan (I keep them if the objective is nearby) and scout missions and keep moving from one place to the next to find jobs to do. Strikes are much slower but more fun, they give you Vanguard marks too.

I don't know I think it's a strike or something.

Edit: it is just bounties and a trader, maybe do the weekly heroic instead?

There is a level 24 verh hard mission for the Queen as well. It seems that you get bounties which give you reputation for the Queen, maybe some weapons will be available when filling the quota?

Got another legendary engram :D

Uncommon auto rifle 🤬

I keep trying to use fusion rifles but I just feel like this all the time as my friend pointed out.

It scales according to the number of people on the fireteam. It's no small feat by itself, and even less so when there's more than one person present.

As for the room where the waves take place it's easy enough to get through, all you have to do is use the doorway to your advantage for the first two waves (you will have to enter from time to time to aggro the Knights), and when it's time for the bit...witches on the third wave just regroup back to the previous room and take cover behind the rocks and pick them off with a solar weapon - preferably a rocket launcher.

Do not die while the waves are taking place, otherwise you'll have to take out the Knights, Acolytes, and Wizard from the previous room to use it to your advantage.

I tried out that Earth cave spot last night, and while I didnt get anything useful, it was still very interesting to see how much ammo had accumulated after just 15 minutes. I kept getting idiots though, so I just went on with the normal game.

I got notice yesterday for a level 24 Nightfall Strike, but where is it at? I saw the weekly one at the left of the menu, but that was level 28. Was the notice letting me know that I can now enter in those strikes now that I'm level 24, or is that there is actually a level 24 one around.

Also, what is the difference between a regular strike and a Nightfall strike?

Nightfall is a level 28 strike. Doesn't even show up until you hit level 24. It is in the vanguard strike playlist at the very top.

I decided to farm that Earth cave for a little while last night with a friend for about 45 minutes.

I had my 7th potential for a legendary. Just ended up being crap again. I honestly have the worst luck in games.

Also important tip for those that don't know. If you run completely out of ammo.....wait for about 30 seconds and you will fill up 100%. This might only work for free roam.

I heard they added a mission for the queen today.

Ah I see, oh well, guess i'll have be grinding to get to that level.

Its ok, I'm in the same boat as you. I'm currently at a 100% fail rate for Legendary Engrams. :(

I was wondering what had happened last night, when I got all my ammo back. I was farming at the same spot and I had ran out, but the other guys still had ammo so I just let them go to town before I head into the cave. After some time I heard a chime and an ammo box pick up noise and I had full everything. Came in handy.

Also, me and you are the same level now. I'm not sure if I'll be on tonight(I feel bad for my gf haha) but if I happen to get on, we should give that a shot.

Anybody want to show me this cave please?

2nd area you see when you are on the Earth free roam. As you come out of the building you will see a big green angled tower. That's the spot. You want at least 3 people for this otherwise it doesn't work well at all. The more people the better.

Also while there, it seems an "event" happens about every 30 minutes. So overall that's just a really great spot to hang out.

Its rare I farm in games but honestly Destiny is starting to get a bit stale for me and to be worth anything in the raid, I need to be leveled up. This is about the best way to do that other than strikes.

@ImaRobot You are always welcome to join the party or game at any time. I will probably spend a little time each night farming that spot in hopes to get good gear to level up or maybe eventually get a legendary. Right now I am 0/7 tries for a legendary. 100% failure.

Ok I went there and there's no chests or anything?

No, there is no chest, only enemies that spawn from a cave endlessly.

I didnt notice a video was already posted.

What bothers me about this game is that there is no trade system. That would help out greatly with alot of things.

Atleast you guys get Blue drops.

I think all the times I've tried this, I get one blue maybe once a day after doing it for an hour.

They probably do that to encourage players to try other classes.

I swear I'm stuck in an armor loop. Every piece of armor I receive is an Axiom Coven.
Is that the top armor a Warlock can aquire? Or do I have to keep plugging through the story in order to find different kinds of armor?

I got quiet a few from a short 20 minute run, but trying again after that for 20 minutes I just got green. Still though, the ones I took to the Cryptarch where not good.

No, there is more, its just that this game throws that at you every chance it gets. Right now I'm sitting on Nemesis Plane, and it seems to be turning into the next Axiom Coven.

I think Axiom Coven may be the highest Green/Uncommon drop. I'm not sure, I haven't fully completed the main story yet.
