The legendaries are all up to speed. I got one for achieving level 3 Vanguard and it turned into a level 20 Fusion Rifle. I was so happy haha.

Congrats and good to hear. I am still stuck at a very high level 25. Need more ascendant shards to level up my helmet and my robe. At that point I should be at least a mid 26. I currently have 7 completed bounties for the queen that I need to try and complete sometime over the weekend. Because after this weekend the queen will no longer be available.

On a side note, my sniper rifle has some random massive damage properties. Last night I had a couple hits worth 29,000 and 31,000!! WHOA! Usually it does between 1,500 and 4,300.

I have about 4, but I just stopped doing the bounties as I didnt see any point to do them, other then for exp. If you want lets get together and knock those out this weekend. Im at about 27 3/4, I'm hoping that Xur has some sort of exotic armor for warlocks as I finally have enough coins. That should bump me into 28.

Just picked up a Rare scout rifle, been trying to find one for weeks now, so much better then hand cannons in PVE, to bad all my armor is set up around hand cannons and shot guns haha.. I need to change that.

That damage is ridiculous, is it perk related, or some sort of glitch?
 
Is there a GTP Clan? I'm on PSN with a lvl 22 Titan and will be looking for people to do raids and strikes with as I level up. I play mainly after 10 PM central time and mornings some. I'm still kind of figuring things out as I've only had the game 10 days but I'm getting there. Let me know if I can add you or send a request to mcfizzle if looking for another player.:cheers:

Yes we will have to try to get some Destiny time in over the weekend. I will be juggling between Destiny and FH2 for sure. Also hopefully xboxlive and Destiny are functioning better. Keeps showing I am offline and has been hit and miss lately.

I am also saving up to see what Xur has this weekend. I was only 1 strange coin short of getting the auto rifle from him last weekend. It just got too late and I was too tired. So hopefully he has that gun again or something even better. I really need better guns. Fusion rifle or auto rifle would be wonderful.

As for the sniper I think it has something to do with the perks. Something about random chance for higher critical.

I only have about 13-14 Strange coins, and was going to use that to purchase a Helmet, but like you I was to late. Oh well Its already the weekend again so it doesnt matter. My primary needs an upgrade, though. I switched out my exotic shotgun for that rare Fusion rifle, as every single stat was better in every way, and it even gets the same max damage. My Legendary machine gun is almost maxed out as well, just needs two more slots for damage.. its just taking for every to get the material.

I am guessing you didn't join a party. The party system on live was having issues for sure. Destiny was also for sure disconnecting people. Pretty sure the lizard hacker group was attacking PSN and live again. As long as I was out of a party I didnt have any issues. In fact we skipped the live party and went to in game chat and it worked a lot better. ALso as I said, the xbox.com support page showed red. Which is not good. Today it is just orange so it should be a lot better...for now. http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

I would recommend saving that link to your favorites. If you ever see that it is red, then there are problems with live. Whenever I have issues online that is the VERY first link I check.

There is a clan but I've barely noticed any difference after joining it. Are you on PS3 or 4? I've got both so add me if you like, I'm normally on PS4.

You're supposed to get a GTP tag under your name but for some reason it isn't appearing.

the weekly nightfall is pretty easy this week. I don't know why they are hiding in that room like that. Just take all 3 of you up top to the right side and have 2 of you shoot little guys when need be while the 3rd just unloads on him behind a barrier.

We had really good luck doing that. We only had one restart and that was because we just went in guns blazing the first time.

No one jumps up on the balcony they all try to come up the ramps and you can kill them before they ever make it as long as two people are just focused on them.

I'm just dreading when the nightfall is the one with the ogre chained up in the pit. I can't see that being beat on nightfall without some kind of cheese tactic.

Difficulty isn't the problem (it's almost as easy as last week's), being killed at the last minute by some rogue Psion or Phalanx that sneaked its way toward you is utterly annoying.

I thought last weeks was pretty hard. We couldn't beat it. We finally gave up after probably 8 or 9 tries and resorted to just staying up top and sniping from there.

That's me soloing the Lv. 22 version. It's a worthwhile tactic to memorize as it applies to every difficulty with very little improvements having to be made.

I can't get that link to work. Must be because I'm on a phone. I never had trouble with it on any difficulty level except the nightfall one. I'll have to try and watch it when I get access to a computer.
 
Tried to solo the vault of glass. It's literally impossible. Message me if you want to team up. I play as a level 27 Hunter. My PSN is atf-98 and I'm usually on PS4.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I saw the notification for your request but I never actually got it, I thought you may have cancelled it or something.

I think I made close to 1000 Vanguard XP today, that's quite a lot given that I didn't do the nightfall for 400 of that. I strongly considered just grinding out the last 300 but decided to watch Zombieland instead, tomorrow's bounties will easily carry me the rest of the way anyway and then it's on to Dead Orbit.

I'll see if I can get a mic, then assuming I'm not busy tonight I'll be there, so if you get five other definites I'll sit it out.

Xûr is in the Vanguards' room today, to the right as you come in. He's selling the Red Death as he was the first week (I wonder if that means he only sells those three; Red Death, Gjallarhorn and SUROS Regime?), I can't remember which class armour he was selling for Warlock and Titan but for Hunter it's the Achylophage Symbiote, the Gunslinger exotic helmet that gives you an extra golden gun round. I figured I'd see if the engram would drop it for me and guess what? It did, so I bought a Sparrow upgrade. That means I need to find six strange coins in addition to the nine from the weekly to be able to buy next week's exotic weapon so I really hope it's nothing new.
 
@neema_t You are already in! Don't need everyone to have a mic, maybe half of us, so when we pair up at points least one can boss the other about. Dancing and waving will only get yours far.

As for Xur, that grubby little man has the warlock gauntlets for the 3rd week in a row.

Every strike I've ever done has been against stupid Valus. All you have to do is stay on the right on the upper deck with a friend. When enemies dump out of the side door right in front of you, just pop nova bomb and they all get sucked into purple death. And have the trait where your abilities explode dudes so you can one-hit the group.

Level 25 will be difficult, it's really, really hard at level 26, but 28 is as high as you can go before you run into the soft cap. As in, you get balanced if you're level 29 or 30 so it's not any easier past 28. And I've heard the first group finished it in 14 hours but people are now able to do it in around 3 using the info that's floating around on the internet.

I completed New Monarchy rank 3, my gift was the same auto rifle I was going to buy anyway, sadly it rolled a worse one than they're selling but I suppose I'll hold onto my marks for now. Actually, I might buy a rank 3 emblem. Also I got a legendary scout rifle out of a rare engram which triggered some sort of 'hang on, what am I doing with all this stuff?' so I shredded two legendary scout rifles (one of which I'd been working on for ages) and my pulse rifle - I was only holding onto it until I got a good auto rifle anyway - and got a lot of ascendant energy in return so I'm now able to fully upgrade two guns. Also the scout rifle I'd been using for a while gave me a scout rifle telemetry thing so if I do ever find a MIDA Multi Tool I'll be able to boost the XP earnings for half an hour.
