People say I don't miss a chance to stick up for the xbox, but I don't see anyone moaning when it gets trashed, or when the ps2 is being made out to be the UB3R SUPER COMPUTER OF DEATH, shhessshh!!

GT4 just looks better because of the textures they use, the 60fps, and the fact that they put a stupid amount of time in getting it "just" right. The lighting effects didn't strike me as being that good though, just...normal I guess.

i think on a GT board you're going get tons of Xbox haters and critics and PS praise as GT is a PS exclusive.

the thing that bugs me about Forza is the citing of it's the GT killer, and it's gonna smoke GT, and it's got just "desired" cars, yadda yadda yadda... i think that should be saved for post release... if the experts say it rocks then cool. if race teams start using it for training drivers... hey good job, then ya i might buy an xbox and forza... but the lack of force feedback steering, the inferior visuals (IMO), and the lack of proof that forza's physics engine can even remotely touch GT's... i think the billing of it as a GT killer is ridiculous.

I'd be saying the same thing to another PS2 game that made the same claims, until proven otherwise. Word. 👍

Thats one thing I hate about consoles, fanboys, kev is a bit of an Xbox fanboy but people like cobra most definately are PS2 fanboys.

WHAAAAAAT, TVR's are the best and you WILL believe, hahaha. You do know the T350C (under £40,000) beat the crap out of a Pagani Zonda, Lambo Murcielago and Porsche 911 Turbo in more than one circuit test.

SAAB's are good, but they arn't as good as Volvo's. Maybe they have better gearboxes but as good as they are they just don't compare to cars like the S60, I was tempted to go for one on finance when I was at the British motorshow earlier this month.

Honestly, I don't care which system is better, which is more powerful. I don't care how fast GT4 is running, what the FPS is, what the hertz is, all that technical ****. All I care about is that GT is the best series with the best graphics on the PS2. @codekev: If the x-box is so kick-ass shnazzy sup3r-ub3r i-can't-imagine-life-without-it, then why aren't there any "Great" games for it? I mean games that surpass any game on any console (such as GT, not including HALO b/c it's a shooter (not realistic))? I mean, PS2 has it's share of great games, and so does X-Box. But how many games on XBox get a 9.8 rating? How many make you turn your head and say to yourself, "Wow, wow."? How many make you do a double take or impress your mother who is staring in awe of the graphics? There's only one game, and it's for PS2. Good enough for me.

Josse is a good swedish car maker. Their Indigo 3000 looks pretty good but looks like a wanna be XKR Coupe imo.

Josse is okay, I don't think it looks too much like an XKR, the detailing is quite deifferent like the lights and shoulders. It's pretty quick as well even though it's not all that powerful it weighs around the 1 ton mark. TheDauer 962 is a car and a half though, not Swedish but still, 250Mph it can out pace a McLaren F1 by far, but it doesn't class as a production car.

Live, what is a W16 engine? I know the veyron 16/4 has a W16 engine but what does the W stand for?

It's the configuration, you have an inline engine which is a single row of cylinders, the V engine which is two rows at an angle shaped like a V and then a boxer or flat engine which is two rows flat down. The W engine is just another configuration, it has 4 banks, The W16 is like two V8's side by side.

One final thought before I dissapear till tomorrow since were talking cars and engines now, wouldn't it be cool if GT4 had the Auto Union C-Type, a 6 liter V16 with 520Bhp mounted behind the driver and driving the rear wheels through a 5 speed gearbox, and with the car weighing only 824Kg's it had a power to weight ratio of 631Bhp/tonne. And all that, was done in the 1930's.

How many xbox games made me say wow you ask triple play? The same number as PS2 games, none. PC games make me say wow. No wait, the bone dragon boss on Ninja Gaiden ALLMOST made me say wow, oh and the lighting effects on RSC2, and just about the whole game of devil may cry (more because of its brilliant design rather then graphics). Please stop trying to convince me that the PS2 "pwns" the XBOX, I own both, I play both, I can tell you it doesn't, both are good in their own special ways (corny I know).

And we ALL know the 9.8 rating on GT3 is COMPLETE bull ****, NOTHING deserves 98%, that's just games journalists going stupid on us.

Now I'm off to play ikaruga, RAH RAH RAH!


P.S I love saabs, any car that looks like a duck gets my vote QUACK QUACK!

Darn, I hate having a life outside the internet. I missed many things I wanted to replay to, but any way.

I almost gave up on Xbox untill I saw the Riddick Trailer. But I have a game pass from block buster now so I get to play all the Xbox I want. On topic.

From what I've seen of Forza the wheels look worse than GT4's. But other than that I'm exited about it. I'm with Code, I'll be owning both of them, but unlike code I'm no Xbox lova just a playa . Other than the wheels I'm always open to new features. more is always better.

As for the GT3 getting 98% being complete bull****, how far have you gotten into the game? I read this article in OPM around january or feb 2001, it was letter of the month. It was about this guy who bought GT3 and decided to devote his life to it, i.e. dump his G/f, sacrifice grades, friends, family, etc. He said it changed his life. Me too, but not to this extreme. Now I know that all the everquest fans are gonna pop out of the water, but this game is the single most addictive game ever. You can literally play forever. The replay value is never-ending, the graphics are the best for it's time (and even now ), the presentation is superb, the sound could have been better(but not by much), and it lives up to all it's expectations. What else do you want out of GT3 taht would make it better? Take all that and put it into GT4, you'll see all 10's.....

IMHO if forza comes out, it should NOT get grades higher than 9.5
It can't be a GT4, and if it does, a lot of ppl will be either rippin or will actually play it...:/
