A Smart ForTwo, turned into a hifi-monster. I actually burst out laughing when it passed me. And a Peugeot 307 with lexus-tail lights and huge rims.

Emohawk
Someone else outside Japan sees it too 👍

More on the main page, but I like those particularly.
This is possibly your friend's site? I think I've seen that picture on there somewhere.

I like some of the cars on there, cuz i like the old cars with the wide body, gives it the back in the day rally look. But is there a reason why the muflers stik 2 freekin miles up into the air, or is it just an ugly rice idea?

I overtook an Austin Allegro yesterday on the motorway

Wow, how long ago did I make that post?
It's about rebelling against the general conformity of Japanese society, making something as outragous and freaky as possible.
Sort of like 'art cars' in the states (all covered in buttons or action figures or something), but done by actual car people. That's vs. art cars; which are usually made by, to stereotype and oversimplify, wacko hippies.

I saw a orange Citroen 2CV... I thought it was kinda odd, I thought Citroen never imported 2CVs to the US if Citroen ever even imported cars at all.

i see a 1989 Subaru legacy wagon everyday it has no exhaust at all and it makes a horrible sound. It has fist size hole in the right-side back light.

An otherwise stock early-mid 90s Corolla with 16 inch chrome spinners...

I never even knew there were 16 inch spinners! And my mom called me a snob when I started laughing at the guy's car...

an early 80's Chevette Drag car ( on the road ) with monster rear drag slicks, a mnoster blower on the hood, wheelie bars, parachute holder, and it was mint green..

yuck !

Could it have been a Flying Spur?

Definately not. It had a really cheesy looking front grille, looked like aluminum foil... And the back end Bentley Badge looked like it was ready to fall off...

I saw an older model 500SL (i think) and it had a Crysler badge taped over the front MB badge... that was odd....

Oh and I just saw a mustang with a horrendus alien-like body kit that was still unpainted... :yuck::crazy:

4 year old hyundai accent, in white, with a huge black spoiler and cheapo rims.

At a fast food place the other day, i saw some uy in a white peugeot 405 estate go by with a cheap rip of of spinner rims

OMFG I saw an idiot in an Echo and he put hubcap spinners on it! Bwahahahhaha!

I would have gotten pics if I wasn't driving and had a camera. :grumpy:

I saw a blue vauxhall taxi zafira with cheapo spinners, but that's not the only taxi MPV I've seen with spinners on, there's a shocking number I've seen, but by far the worst was an 80's previa taxi with 'em

Pug' 1007. Quirky and flat faced. More so than the Ayrgo.
Don't forget they're damn heavy too, so you know what to expect when your stuck behind one at traffic lights. ;)

I saw about 3 on Holidays, along with an Aygo. Wonder when I'll see a C1.

We were also towing at the time so I don't suppose we were much quicker :ouch:
