I'm sorry but Codemasters wonna be just like PD so dashboard view only on Premium Models
Just kidding, but.. we never know. I think/hope the Premium/Standard will be only a PD deviation.
All of the cars in DiRT2 had a cockpit view, so it's extemely likely that all of the cars in DiRT 3 will have that option as well.
There's a whole heap of new gameplay videos over at Game Trailers, showing Transporter, Invasion and Outbreak gameplay, plus two-player split-screen and a new snow stage in single-player mode. It also shows the expanded Battersea gymkhana stage; as you progress in gymkhana mode, you unlock new arenas. The full Battersea looks great.
Okay, read that there will be 50 cars across 15 classes. And that there will be 9 pure-rally classes and 6 "non-rally" classes. the 9 classes I would guess would be a lot of the ones from previous games, but, it's those "non-rally" classes that intrigue me.
It's not quite a full list, but apparently the final list of cars has been confirmed. i don't know where to find it, though.confirmed cars!!!

Yeah, it was confirmed a while ago in some of the previews that got posted here. Battersea has three "stages", with the arena growing larger and larger. According to this preview, we've only seen half of it because the final iteration includes the carpark, the compound and the inside of the power station. There's also apparently a stage on the bottom of the Monaco Grand Prix circuit - you can see it in the two-player split screen video, linking Ste. Devote to Tabac - that sets you a series of tasks to do around the lap. And there's (at least) a third gymkhana arena that goes un-mentioned in the previews except to say it's there.Haha Brilliant!, I really wasn't expecting anything like this.
Uh-huh:

Just played the Dirt2 Demo again. I'm going to have to say that while DiRT3 may be fun, it's most likely going to frustrate me as well.
I'm not good at turning at high speeds... it's very sensitive as turning a tad bit too hard gets the car locked in one slide, and I spin out, or i get a snap back and spin out. Simply put i'm too accustomed to GT's rally where I can throw the car at a huge angle and just steer out of it... That or maybe the eclipse GT in the demo wasn't AWD.

DragonisticIt is AWD and you can enter turns backwards 'Ken Block' style (as the cool kids would say) with it without to much hassle once you get used to it. Just takes practice, Dirt 2 is one of those arcade games which actually has some difficulty curve to the physics and that is one reason why I am gutted that I don't have the cash to fork out for Dirt 3.
^ Any need for that.
I looked into getting a G27.
Waaaay too expensive for me.
