It hasn't been in production for over a year or two. No confirmation if it will be in GT4. 👎

Welcome to GTPlanet.net!

It's a beast for sure. I've got a model of the 35th Anniversery Edition. 👍 It would be fantastic if Polypony Digital had a version of it in the game that sounded exactly like it does in real life.

Trans AM?

Once again, L1ama R1ama doesn't understand a damn thing.

I was referring to toler's David Hasselhoff picture.

Actually, they never got to 35th Anniversary with the Trans Am. They had the 30th An. in 1999, but the F-body only lasted until 2002. Thats why it was called the 'Collectors Edition' and the Camaro SS was called the '35th Anniversary.' The Camaro actually made it to 35, but the Firebird didn't quite make it. My girlfriends dad collects muscle cars. He has a 'Collectors Edition WS6' and a '35th An. SS', both with less than 10 miles on them, hiding under covers in his storage at the house. Very sweet cars, should be worth a mint in about 20 years.

I think the car would be a great addition to the game. Its like people always wondering why there are so many GT-Rs and Evos in the game. Why not a couple different F-bodys??? Just a few would be nice. They could have a Firebird, a TA WS6, a Z28, an SS, and maybe a Firehawk and SLP SS. Just a little more variety to spice things up. They could then have a couple different Mustangs (GT, Cobra, Saleen, Roush), Vettes (Base, Z06, LPE), and Vipers (R/T 10, GTS, GTS-R, Comp Coupe, Mallet, Hennessey), just to name a few. Just a few more models like that would be good. I mean, I know its a Japanese based game, but just a couple more American models to play with would be cool.

Someone else said this earlier, and I agree. The 35th Anniversary Trans-Am should be a nice fit for GT4. I owe a lot of respect to the Camaros and Firebirds of the 1990s, because without them, I wouldn't consider them as wonderful cars. Plus, I wouldn't be a car fan first and foremost. When I seen Camaros in Trans-Am, I was quite impressed. Of course around those times, you had to go through Paul Gentilozzi and his Homelink Mustang first.

But back to the Trans-Am from Pontiac. I am not sure I know what's the WS-6. I don't know too much about the Trans-Am, sadly. So if the game doesn't have it upon release, then you can always petition for more Mustangs . Just joking, as usual. Well, if GT4 will have it, good. If not, I'm sorry.

So considering other sports cars and cars that aren't even sports cars, why would one say that these muscle machines are the best in the world? Here in America, we have that Mr. Clean Auto Dry Wash or whatever it's called. Okay, the main point of the commercial is that "car wash technology has finally caught up with automotive technology." But how did the promotion go? This drag racing muscle car is basically drag racing against a car that looks more like a Porsche 956 or a 962. And near the commercial's end, the muscle car (as usual) blasts past the beautiful GTP race car, ripping the bodywork off of the car down to its frame work.

Like I said, I have no problem with American cars. And by the way, did I seriously attack a certain person? No I did not. I'm with Darin about the muscle car thing. People just have different tastes. Maybe we don't see things as you do, and that's perfectly fine. But don't go around attacking people like me and Darin because of our tastes in cars. That's what I'm saying. I'm not arguing. I'm not taking chances. I'm sharing my views as any person says. This is why I like staying neutral with most things. It is because everything will have fans and haters, like Mustangs.

And no offense, Lethalchem, but... with a Mustang thread, you highlight more on the Corvette than the Mustang in post #232. What's up with that? I'm not attacking you, this is just-for-fun. Anyhow, I'll try not to take chances coming up with more replies that will result in fights. So I'll try to refrain from here unless I come up with something good. And by the way, the Mustang I raced in GT3 was good while it lasted because I lost against the DTM cars several times.

Okay guys, lets talk american muscle here, i've done a little research last night and the users in the "More Mustangs!!!" thread should see this.

I'm sure you know Trans-Am Series. Pure American muscle at its strongest. Yesterday afternoon I decided to watch one of my dad's taped Trans-Am races. The final year that Tommy Kendall raced the Mustang Powerade or Gaterade, eh, I for either one of those. Well, I must say, those cars interested me. But today, I was kinda disappointed that it has Dodge Vipers and Jaguars. I know the Viper is counted as the #1 American Muscle, and it is. The Viper is the Torque monster from hell on the road. Sure, theres the Corvette, its there. But you see a Viper you point it out a look. A Corvette isn't like that, But a Chevelle is. I remember a couple weeks back I was watching some show that was talking about it. I was interested. Its a nice car. But I'll never get into that Cubic block inches things or anything else.
Dodge does have its Viper, But Ford has the Mustang. And now I understand why its on the line up. Yes, its weak stock ( Standard Mustang ). But its wickly powerful when tuned right. Its America's #1 natural muscle car. its got the V8 and that nice sound its good. I'm kinda tooken interest into Ford and I'll be glad to hear what anyone has to add. Okay, lets talk about All the American Muscle cars and the Muscle that will be in GT4.

lets talk american muscle here

Let's not and say we did.

I'm glad you went out and cultured up on what you were flaming so vigorously yesterday, but that's not an excuse for me to miss an opportunity to piss off SkillRacer by telling you this thread isn't new.

Where is Pontiac Trans-AM WS-6!?

Its exactly where it should be - 'Project Redneck Racing 3 Underground' for the Sega Genisis.
