I worked for about 5 years in Havre de Grace, as an architect. I designed the Bel Air Fire Company main station in town, and I worked on the Library team. I also did the big shopping center and Mars supermarket just south of Edgewood, among other things. Then the company got bought and they closed the office and moved everybody to Towson, which I didn't want to do, so I quit. At the new job, I worked on Ripken Stadium, and no, I didn't get to meet Cal, but I did talk to him on the phone once.

I topped my Neon out at about 134-5 on that stretch of I-95 above the Susquehanna one night...

Cheers!

No kidding! I live in the Abingdon area, very close to both the Edgewood Mars shopping center and Havre de Grace (I live off Rt. 40, if that gives you an idea). Very cool, man - you know that there was a HUGE accident on 95 today? A truck filled with gasoline fell of the 895 overpass and exploded; several other cars had no time to stop and drove right into it. North and southbound are closed right now; at least 2 confirmed deaths.

I h8 radio stations. 99X (the only decent-reception radio station in this area) has the stupid-ass talk shows on from 7:00 to 11:00, and then they play what they call "the odd 90's rock CD's off the track", but they're not fooling anyone - who hasn't heard Black Hole Sun from Soundgarden or Smells Like Teen Spirit form Nirvana? Yes they're pretty good songs, but I hear one of the two at least every hour and a half! I swear, radio used to be really cool, but now... :tombstone: :banghead:
