Do you have a clean savegame?

Boggles the mind how this upsets some people. I guess they would freak out if they knew that in Microsoft Flight Simulator X I changed the parameters in the the test flight so that the first check ride awarded the other licenses. Why would I do such a thing? Because it was funny and I wanted to see if I could do it.

And why are some people getting so worked up about someone calling a save 'unclean' if its owner used a glitch? Whether it was reasonable or not, glitching is glitching.

Some of you seem to get really defensive about this

Nope, I've got a single save and it has a ton of birthday cars on it.

I don't understand the point of grinding well over 10 hours of the most money-efficient race, all just to buy a single $20,000,000 car.

You can spread it out to whatever you want, you can do whatever series you want, online, seasonal, whatever.

It is because you want quick money that people grind Indy only, and because they need instant gratification that they do the game save exploit.

Here is the catch, YOU DONT HAVE TO GRIND THE SAME TRACK! You can spread it out to whatever you want, you can do whatever series you want, online, seasonal, whatever.

It is because you want quick money that you grind, and because you need instant gratification that you do the game save exploit.

I do it so I can drive as many different cars as possible in this "Real Driving Simulator" The next thing I'm going to do is try to buy 400 carts to see if I can get the 1000 car trophy, and if I do I'm going to restore my save game so the trophy doesn't cost me anything.

Yep clean account here. I like to do everything legitly. If I cheat in anyway at all I don't really feel like I accomplished anything

It's pretty much the same for. Doesn't even have anything to do with an elitist attitude or anything, some people just feel better about themselves by doing it without glitching.

Yup, I have a clean save game. The only things that I have "free" of are the McLaren F1 stealth car and the Gamestop NASCAR pre-order bonuses. I don't see a need to duplicate any cars myself.

Nope. I've done the birthday exploit numerous times and did the money trick, and I'm not the least bit ashamed.

I find the whole duping thing to be pretty childish.

With two runs of the Indy American Championship race you can buy and tune all but the very top cars in the game.

Whats the point in playing a game when you use a cheat or exploit to gain all the rewards without any effort or accomplishment?

But I guess it makes the teenagers feel big? Seems to be the only people who like to dupe are the same kids you see in all those online lobbies that do nothing but run a Veyron up and down that one tunnel straightaway.

It's just stupid...

Wow, thanks for throwing everyone who does this into one group.

Most of my cars I earned, did a few trades where I back'ed up my save and got my car back though. But only did this with 5 trades or so, for some other trades I just gave up my car. Will keep earning most of the cheaper cars but the expensive ones I'll probably trade/dupe. Don't like how the best race to grind credits with is a stupid oval. Endurance races also don't give enough credits, pretty much the main reason I just want to trade/dupe expensive cars. I don't mind grinding in an MMORPG, but not in a race game. Just want to enjoy driving all the different cars, not grind in the same car on the same track all day long.

My save is as clean as a Vegas show girl. It's been around the block more than an ice cream truck and half the Premium section has ran a train on it.
Best of all, I couldn't care less about it.

Clean - I loaned a Toyota 7 race car from a friend for the historic cup and sent it back when I was done (No duping!) that was it.

I've loaned a few cars out to people like the Gallardo, I haven't duped my side don't know if they did when they sent it back but I assume not.

Want to keep your save clean? Great. Couldn't care less. Keep playing.

Want to dupe the crap out of your X2010? Great. Couldn't care less. Keep playing.

Want to bad mouth someone for not playing the same way you are? That I have a problem with. You're doing alright so far but keep it civil, guys.

I don't understand these people that think grinding for money is some kind of achievement or makes them better than anybody else. I have a life so don't have time to sit there driving round in circles.

I have a Bday glitch car from the early days. I was going to trade for one but I figured I'd just do it myself rather then give away an expensive car which I'd have to grind for.

I dont plan on using duping. I rather spend time on the track improving my skills over screwing around with the technical details of my save game.

My main save is clean, but I created 15 alt accounts since the seasonal events came out. Just played the last race of each seasonal events leaves me with 3+Mil and Lv 22. I buy the cars I'm looking for and send them to my main. No dupes, no b-day glitch and no freebies here. I already have all premium cars, except, for the DLC. :sly:

Didn't think about that, going to do that as well since I still need quite a few premium cars. :p Why so many accounts though? Can't you just delete the save file and start over?

Not a clean save here. I honestly can't be bothered with running Indy 200 times to get a Mk IV or something similar. I want to have fun with the game. After all, it is a game.

Never duped, although I did enter a raffle to win a 370z GT Academy. I don't know if the cars I traded for are duped, but I doubt any of us do.

lolz we need carfax for trades," it was only driven to church on sundays by a little old lady and never duped".

But to OP, got trades and freebies dont have time to grind as I have real high performance vehicles that i ride/drive and take much pride in!!!!

Nope, I throughly used the bday exploit to get tons of cars, even to get cars from 2000s. Got a lot of premium cars that way. I also use the duping method I guess to buy super expensive cars that may appear in the used car dealership, since I own almost all premium cars at this point.
