Do you? Ya know, when someone drives slow in front of you or cuts you off and you freak out?

Taking a poll =P

I accelerate slowly but i rarely speed and it is very annoying when idiots cut me off.

They accelerate fast and they think they will get their faster by accelerating faster but i end up catching up to them when they get to a stop light.

I would not call it road rage...let's just say I hate driving behind STUPID 🤬
:)

Not at all. I do get annoyed sometimes but that's mostly it.

Actually, I usually like when people screw up and I have to make an effort not to crash into them. It makes me think I'm an exceptional driver

I don't have road rage. Everybody else has road idiocy, and I tend to stand out from the crowd.

I have it in GT5 at once or twice, dose that count? On a serious note, yes when i was in my early 20. I am too old for road rage.

Experienced it. Had it. Got rid of the latter.

It's a recipe for disaster and can escalate at a high rate into a very unpleasant situation.

That pretty much depends on my urgency, if I'm late for a meeting or conference then you might say yes. Other than that I'm pretty calm and economic driver. I see no point in going fast in urban areas.

+1 for road idiocy.

I can't drive to work without saying dumb ---. It seems like 90% of people driving, either have no need to be where they are going in a reasonable amount of time, or are not paying enough attention to the fact that they are driving a car, or they are not aware of driving standards and practices, i.e. left lane is passing/fast lane. Speed limits are speed suggestions, use your judgement. Neighborhood: 25mph max, Interstate <60mph is dangerous. Typically shoot for 5-10 over on all interstate roads.

And it is a systemic problem. I've been a driver in SC, FL, CA, and these people are every where. The best thing is when, every once in a while, you find another decent driver to drive with, usually only happens on the interstate. BTW this rant stems from the fact that I have always had to drive >50 mi. round trip to work/school, since highschool. Arggg!

I drive an M3, your argument is invalid.

But seriously, I do get irritated with other drivers being idiots and will generally get a touch aggressive, if just to pass them - the amount of people that will just cut you off and then go under the speed limit is amazing. But I don't get sucked into it like some people I've seen - I still focus on the driving rather than getting dragged into some pissing contest.

Road rage I almost get into a fight with someone. I was going 5 mph over the speed limit and some guy behind me was pissed. He was honking and making some hand gestures then passed the double yellow lines to pass me . Then when he was in front of me he was going under speed limit. So I did the same thing he did to me and he get mad and stoped in the middle of the road. And get put of his car to start to yell at me and wants to fight. I start to get out of my car and the cops come, stop anything from happening.

I can't remember ever getting angry with another driver. Not even one that almost ran me over.

I wouldn't say I have road rage. The only time I've been angry with another driver was when a friend of mine cut me off and thought it was a funny joke. He drives a Buick Enclave, and I drive a Corolla. We were doing 60 km/h, he was one lane to the left, about a half a car length ahead. I was accelerating a little bit, and he realized he was in the wrong lane to go to Mcdonalds, and he just turned hard into my lane at 65 km/h with no signal. I laid on the horn and then when we got back to school he thought it was a big :censored:ing joke. He doesn't realize it, but he's lucky I was quick on the brakes. If I were a half second slower, I would have hit him, causing thousands of dollars damage to his car, and driving both of our insurance rates way up. Driving's not a :censored:ing joke. It just bothers me because it's people like him that mean I pay hundreds of dollars for insurance.

Other than that, if somebody is tailgating I generally just move over to the right of the lane and do the speed limit so they can see to pass easier. I'm a calm and collected person, and I don't get mad behind the wheel unless somebody does something completely idiotic.

Quite a lot. I blame the rather bad Parisian drivers. Sorry to all the French who know how to drive properly.

Only a little.

And even then, it usually dies down quickly. And I rarely do anything dangerous no matter how angry I get. Worst I think I've ever done is tale a guy doing 20 in a 40, and that was only a few seconds before I realized how bad of an idea that was.

My GF hates me driving cause I'm too relaxed. I really don't give a **** if someone cuts in front of me. Good on 'em. But I'm also the guy who drives 60 in 80 zones if I'm not in a hurry. So people rage at me more than the other way around.

The above video needs a language warning.

I usually don't have road rage, but I seem to inspire road rage in others. Since I tend to drive somewhat briskly, which people tend to not like.

Whenever someone tries to start something, I usually start flailing my arms or do something ridiculous just to show the other driver that I couldn't care less about the current situation. In my experience, that will make them just give up.

No kidding, I went to France for a vacation and routinely thought I was going to die while out on the roads. The daredevils and :censored:holes of America have nothing on the people over there.

If you consider vehemently yelling at stupid drivers every single time I'm exposed to one of them (although it ends up being traffic lights more than anything else... :grumpy: ) while never doing anything (tail them, roll down the window and yell to their face, etc.) to let them know how I feel to be road rage, then yes. Every time I get behind the wheel. But it's not road rage of the dangerous variety.

And here I thought we could be friends :guilty:

Overall, I dont fall under this, the only time I do though is when a friend of mine who drives a BMW 530i likes to drive the lane next to me to slow down and then he would pass by me like 15 mph faster, thinking as if he was overtaking me in a drag race.

Only on multi-lane roads! :sly:

I enjoy just driving so sometimes it's nice just to stretch out the drive and enjoy it.

And only if you stay out of those passing lanes, then I think we might be okay.

Maybe.

Maybe this is just by product of having a Saab (you have a Saab, right? I think you do, but I'm lazy, as you may know)

Yeah I do. (Reminds me to update that thread).

But yeah, if I go over 60km/h I'll under-steer off the road.

Hell yes. I'm a cyclist (que the rage) and nobody in CQ has an idea how to drive apart from career driver like taxis and buses. Plenty of people have been on the end of my wonderful vocabulary of profanities, not they understand what I'm saying but they get the idea from the tone of my voice.

"THIS IS SPARTA A ONE-WAY SYSTEM YOU 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬!
