WWE title match added to Royal Rumble event and its a 2-1 handicap match between AJ Styles and Owens/Zayn, interesting to see what happens in that one, I bet they will turn on each other again when kit comes to pinning Styles, and that will probably be it as far as the RR card goes as there is two Royal Rumble matches.

More team made for the Mixed Match challenge which is in 10 days time. There is Charlotte/Bobby Roode, Rusev/Lana, Braun Strowman/Alexa Bliss, Finn Balor/Sasha Banks and Nia Jax/Apollo Crews so far.

Matt Hardy will have his first match since becoming Woken tonight, they didn't announce against who so it's probably Curt or a "local talent".

Also, two more pairings have been announced.

Alicia Fox & Goldust
Asuka & The Miz

I thought Asuka was already confirmed for someone else? :confused

They were teasing her and Golddust as partners in some amusing social media posts, but nobody on Raw has been paired the way those posts had been hinting at.

They should make lesnar, Kane, and strowman a no disqualification match or last man standing match with all the chaos going on.

Fairly certain I heard them mention it was already a no DQ match. I could be wrong though.

It's a triple threat match. They're always under no dq rules.

I think that backstage bit with the three of them was pre-taped, the only thing that made me think that was the fact that Strowman hooked up the rope to the top of the metal scaffolding first time, I mean.....how?!

Decent Raw but nothing special, Sami Zayn and Becky Lynch is the latest pairing for the mixed match challenge which is next week.

Well there was also supports for the ambulance he tipped over too I believe to make it easier.

Smackdown is lucky their tag division is great as right now that’s pretty much the only reason I keep watching it.

The sooner this horrible Shane storyline ends the better.

I actually like this current storyline, I like some drama in my wrestling stories and I think this provides a big heap of drama to get me engage.

I think WWE has now written themselves into a corner for the U.S Championship Tournament. If they go for the usual heel vs. face scenario, we either have Mojo vs. Xavier Woods or Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal, neither option is any good. Mojo vs. Xavier kills both Bobby Roode and Jinder (unless Bobby loses the semi-finals because Baron Corbin interference) meanwhile Bobby vs. Mahal kills Mojos recent heel run.

I did like it at first but everything after Hell in a Cell has just been terribly executed.

For starters it’s been going on far too long (since SummerSlam I think?). Usually when a story goes on this long there is a big payoff and in this case we won’t get that (unless Bryan has been secretly cleared like Angle was). Not helping matters is the fact its been pretty much the same wrestlers involved the entire time.

Secondly is the fact I don’t know who I’m supposed to be cheering for. KO and Sami are obviously the heels, but Shane & Co. have been doing some very heelish things throughout the storyline as well. It makes it very hard to support either side, which in turn makes it hard to get invested in the story.

And lastly I’m just tired of Shane. Considering how many people complain about Steph when she appears, she hasn’t made herself the center of attention for the better part of a year like Shane has (I only started watching again in ‘17 so it may even be longer).

Stef went off TV for a while, I want to say after Wrestlemania, while Shane and Daniel were running SD calmly. I'm guessing there's a bet to see if Shane and Daniel can out-bs the Stef and Mick Foley storyline.

That last bit is what makes it interesting for me. I tried to make the first part smaller so the bolded bit would appear in the quote but it depends on your window size.

I long ago tired of the idea that everybody has to be a "good guy" or a "bad guy," the people that blur the line and the crowd cheering for people who clearly should be heels but are far more engaging than their rivals makes it much more entertaining for me. Why can't the wrestlers just be competitors trying to outdo one another and the fans can like whoever appeals to them? WWE seems to have a very different opinion most of the time however. This isn't the most entertaining story ever but it's much more complicated and not entirely clear who the good guys are(hint: there really aren't any), which is a big improvement over their usual fare.

Wholeheartedly agree with that.

I agree with pretty much everything you said and it's a large reason why I enjoyed the feud up to Clash of Champions, which is the point I think they sort of lost focus. From that point on it just seems like they forgot where they were going with the whole thing but at the same time don't want to drop it.

Hopefully they manage to work it out post Rumble.

That's the thing about long storylines, we don't know how it will end yet. Long storylines mainly focus on the pay off which we don't know what that would be yet. Orton and Bray Wyatt storyline could've been a good example if they didn't trip at the finish line.

Secondly is the fact I don’t know who I’m supposed to be cheering for. KO and Sami are obviously the heels, but Shane & Co. have been doing some very heelish things throughout the storyline as well. I was gonna say something but @Morgoth_666 pretty much says my thoughts, it isn't like back with AJ Styles heel run which I think failed because they tried to make people hate AJ but they couldn't get a single Boo. This blurs the line where you can feel sympathetic for the heels, you know Kevin and Sami are the heels but what their substance can make you feel sympathetic when the faces decide to be hypocrites and do heel tactics against them. Daniel Bryan feels like the only true face in this storyline trying to be the middle ground but every time he tries, he is alleged to be in cahoots with Kevin and Sami.

And lastly I’m just tired of Shane. Considering how many people complain about Steph when she appears, she hasn’t made herself the center of attention for the better part of a year like Shane has (I only started watching again in ‘17 so it may even be longer).
I think at the moment its fine. It does share problems with Steph and Mick story last year (as well as the Authority angle). However, it doesn't feel like Shane is being the dominant one in this storyline, he has had a few wins with his made matches against Kevin and Sami but Kevin and Sami have been able to overcome the adversity a few times. Meanwhile when Mick was GM, he didn't do anything to comeback Stephanie judgment, as it was all just he made a bad call so Steph just berated him, until he snapped, Daniel Bryan being the middle ground has been challenging Shane McMahon at every unjust action he does.

Bald Minoru Suzuki is even more terrifying, and that's not something that I thought was possible.

Just read that NJPW is actually touring Australia very soon.

Interested in going but not sure if it's worth it, for starters I have no way of watching NJPW normally so I have no idea what it is even like, and second I don't have much for tickets :(.

Depending on your Internet data caps, NJPW World (their WWE Network equivalent) is a good place to start. Cost quoted on the site (999 yen, har har har see what they did there) translates to around $12 Aussie bucks a month.

Paige may be done in-ring.

Hopefully WWE keeps her around as a manager (perhaps turn her into Sister Abigail?).

Very true, but they have to make the journey to that point worthwhile and at this point nothing short of Bryan returning to action will make it satisfying for me. It would be like sitting through a long car ride as a kid and ending up at a small county fair instead of Disney World. Sure there is still stuff to do, but it wouldn't feel worth the time invested.

I think at the moment its fine.

I will admit that perhaps I was a tad harsh since it can still hold my attention, but I don't see it turning a corner like the Jason Jordan storyline has.

The first inductee in to this years Hall Of Fame has been announced.....and its Goldberg, I'm quite happy with that, he probably deserves it.

Jason Jordan is dealing with an injury, he was pulled from live events over the weekend and his status for Raw tonight is unknown, his injury is also unknown.

As for the WWE Championship match, according to Owens and Sayn if they win they becomes co-Champions, so arguing over pinfalls wouldn't make sense.

In other news, J.R and Jerry Lawler will be commentating on Raw 25 :D.

Braun is taking getting fired surprisingly well.

Even though he got rehired later that night by Stephanie Mcran. Also there was a cable attached to the truck same for what he did with the ambulance.

Rollins and Balor had a really good match but that's not really surprising considering what talents they are, The first hour of Raw was really good, I find it entertaining seeing Braun destroy everything, in fact if I had two words to describe the first hour it would be BRAUN SMASH!!

Jey Uso has been arrested for DUI, Welcome to the Uso's Penitentiary!!

Mixed Match Challenge starts right after Smackdown tonight, first match is Balor/Banks v Natalya/Nakamura.

We have a new United States Champion!.....
