WWE believes in Joe Hendry, Joe won the NXT title last night in the seven person ladder match for the vacant title, he is the first NXT champ of this 'new era' they are calling it after Oba Femi vacated it a few weeks ago.

Is TNA still getting shafted in the crossover deal, or has that already ended?
I'm pretty sure that forbidden door cannot be closed, especially with NXT being elevated to full brand status. That's why it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see AJ show up back there after a few months off, being hitched to WWE means it wouldn't cause any friction.

The crossover deal hasn't ended, Joe Hendry is now officially with WWE and has been for a few months.

The TNA knockout tag titles were defended on NXT so the crossover is still going.

So if anything, catch the pre-match chants from tonight's Dynamite main event between Brody King and MJF because they were real ones. ✊😍
Brody King is aggressively outspoken IRL against ICE and the crowd was there for it, can't repeat what they said because swear filter but we can take a wild guess what the first word was in the chant.

Is it?

Even back in 2019 to 2021 when they pretended NXT was a 3rd brand to combat Dynamite it didn't feel like it at all (except for Charlotte choosing Rhea Ripley at Wrestlemania for the NXT Women's Championship). You can't have a 3rd brand and have it a different smaller location, sharing none of the events when brand exclusive PLEs aren't a thing for the 2 actual brands and the concept of a "call up to the main roster"

ECW was more graceful in it being the 3rd brand (was on the Main PPV schedule, was on drafts (and not just outgoing) and nothing about calling up the the main roster) despite how much of an afterthought it was actually treated.

I mean, it's hard to say that it's just a development show anymore when they have over 50 active wrestlers listed on the show's roster and ten championships (since WWE's website rolls the Speed and Evolve titles in as NXT championships), counting the Heritage Cup. Even the whole "call up" thing just feels more and more like plain old roster cycling lately, or at least a lot less like "you earned your shot at the big time" outside of the two top champions.

It's pretty obvious HHH wants to make sure NXT stays his thing, which is probably why it's continued to keep some degree of seperation from the other two brands, but it's gotten way too big to just be a feeder show for Smackdown and Raw.

Two Elimination Chamber qualifying matches announced for Smackdown a bit later.

Lash Legend v Tiffany Stratton v Chelsea Green
Aleister Black v Randy Orton v Solo Sikoa

Both matches sound great.

Bron Breakker has had surgery on a hernia injury, he suffered it when he flipped the announce table over on Raw last week.

There is no timeline for his return, he was planned to have a match with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania.

Injury suspected to be at least 12 weeks, meaning he would miss Mania or be very last minute.

Not even the other wordly powers likes The Vision and doesn't want to see a payoff.

That's why you always lift with your knees and not your back. Though I imagine the newer announce tables are made of sturdier stuff than the old fall-apart pressboard ones, they certainly look like they're made of something heavier than that anyway.

Durn, I missed those matches. I didn't see them broadcasted live on WWE's official website. Weird. Wow, I've known Randy Orton since 2005. My grandpa used to watch WWE wrestling on the old UPN network. Randy was a brave bold fighter out there in the ring.

From what I heard, they are reinforced with steel.

WrestleMania tickets will be 25% off this weekend only. The only obvious reason for this is that ticket sales have been slow and poor, and the main reason for that is those prices are so high and out of reach for so many, its also been reported that WWE have changed match plans several times for the show.

I like Liv Morgan, but saying hello to her ain't worth Ford Mustang money.

I mean that's just absolutely ridiculous isn't it?! Sure you get some good stuff there but the most I would pay for all that is probably 2 grand!

And keep in mind that's starting at $37,500. Some of these, after taxes, are going for close to $50,000.

I could see them trying to justify those prices in Saudi Arabia. But when you're running it back for a second year in a row at Allegiant Stadium, which isn't even that great of a venue?

Not Funny Laughing GIF

Alexa Bliss and Cody Rhodes have qualified for their respective Chamber matches, Rhodes beat Sami Zayn and Jacob Fatu in a chaotic end to the main event after Drew McIntyre got involved.

RHIYO had a successful tag title defense against Lash Legend and Nia Jax, Jade Cargill defended her women's title against Jordynne Grace, I really haven't been impressed with Jade Cargill so far, she can only wrestle five minute matches, but that said the booking of both women's titles has been awful lately.

I feel that Vaquer is the better champ than Cargill. I like watching her title matches... pre-Raquel that is...

So Je'Von is taking the Logan Paul slot in the chamber? Do a few flashy moves off the cage for the highlight reel?

I guess they are continuing the career killer stuff with Gunther rather than put him back in the title mix. The Dragon Lee stuff seems like a bridge to a feud with Rey.

I don't know as an Australian GM supporter growing up, I'm obligated to hate Ford so that's a bad example for me.
US$37.5k is about AU$53k, what's the most fun new car you can buy with that?

BTW that's just under €32k here, but new car prices for anything that isn't electric are just insane.

The highlight of Raw for me was the Liv Morgan-Stephanie Vaquer segment, Liv was doing a sit down interview with Michael Cole when Vaquer interrupted and basically threatened her but it was all in Spanish, it made Liv upset and they later put English subtitles on social media so you could see what Vaquer said, she said that Liv had the best of everything coming through the WWE system whereas she had to fight from a country with no Wrestling training facilities and she fought throughout the world to get where to the top of WWE. The whole thing was well done with Liv's emotions and facial expressions shining through.

WWE's Roxanne Perez revealed on her TikTok that she had surgery to remove a benign mass from her back last week and will be out of action for a little while, I did notice that she wasn't on Raw since the Rumble and hasn't been in any Chamber match qualifiers and now we know why, I wish her well in her recovery.

The one major thing from Raw this week that I completely forgot to mention was the giant crate that Adam Pearce received, it had 'deliver to WWE, do not open until 2/28/26' on it, its the date of Elimination Chamber and its had a lot of speculation, it has to be Chris Jericho, right?! The guy who delivered it mentioned a list, and the crate will be on Smackdown too after Pearce left it for Nick Aldis to deal with.

Kiana James and Trick Williams both qualified for their respective Chamber matches. Elimination Chamber is on Saturday.

WrestleMania ticket sales were poor last week despite the 25% discount last weekend, the sales are around 17,000 down on what they were this time last year.

There will be an AJ Styles tribute on Raw this coming week, they have started building up to it by posting Styles best WWE moments on social media, some Smackdown wrestlers will be apart of the tribute.

On Raw tonight.

AJ Styles tribute, with Styles appearing.
Brock Lesnar appearance.
Jey Uso v Bronson Reed v El Grande Americano, Chamber qualifier
Liv Morgan makes her WrestleMania decision.
Maxxine Dupri v Nattie.

There was a women's Chamber qualifier but its not on WWE.com for some reason.
