The AJ Styles tribute was great, they made a fantastic video package for him and he came out and made a great speech, he said the time was right to bow out so he can be a dad and that he had a great career, he also said it was poetic to have his last match at the same event where he made his WWE debut 10 years ago, he then explained why he didn't lay his gloves in the ring at the Rumble saying he wanted to do it in his home state and he then laid he jacket and gloves in the ring, the locker room then emptied and all the guys and girls filled the stage to applaud Styles and he family came in the ring to hug him, The Undertaker then appeared to give him the news that he will be in this years Hall Of Fame, the whole thing was brilliant and so well done. 👍

Bronson Reed suffered a right shoulder injury in his Chamber qualifier and he couldn't finish the match, he was meant to win as well so they had to change plans there and Jey Uso ended up qualifying, its been said that Reed is out indefinitely and its horrible luck for him and the already depleted Vision faction.

Liv Morgan has chosen Stephanie Vaquer as her champion to face at Mania in unsurprising news, it means that both Chamber matches on Saturday will be to face Smackdown champions at Mania, Brock Lesnar issued an open challenge for Mania (or at least Heyman did!) for anyone to face him and it does seem like a perfect match for the still free agent Oba Femi.

It looked like Maxxine got knocked out by Nattie too. Not sure if it was scripted or legit.

There were three title changes on NXT last night.

The Vanity Project are new tag team champions after they beat Darkstate.
Elio La Fleur is the new Speed champion after beating Jasper Troy and Eli Knight in a triple threat.
And perhaps the biggest one, Myles Bourne is the new North American champion after beating Ethan Page and breaking Page's record breaking title reign in doing so.

One title change that didn't happen, Jacy Jayne retained her women's title beating Sol Ruca but only because Zaria turned on Sol and attacked before the bell rang.

Its been reported that WWE have been forced into re-writes for the Vision storyline and the masked man in wake of Bronson Reed's injury, yeah I bet they bloody have!

Its also been reported that AJ Styles has signed a contract with WWE to be a coach for the younger talents, it sounds perfect for him.

On that note, reports say that Reed was immediately sent for surgery for a torn bicep and will probably be out for at least six months.

As far as the storyline goes, they may as well just drop it entirely. I'm not sure how they're going to salvage the storyline now, unless they really expect Logan Paul to do all the heavy lifting here.

Here is the card for WWE Elimination Chamber which takes place Saturday night in Chicago.

Women's Elimination Chamber Match.
Tiffany Stratton v Rhea Ripley v Alexa Bliss v Asuka v Raquel Rodriguez v Kiana James
(Winner faces Jade Cargill for the WWE women's title at WrestleMania)

Women's Intercontinental Championship.
Becky Lynch (c) v AJ Lee

World Heavyweight Championship.
CM Punk (c) v Finn Balor

Men's Elimination Chamber Match.
Randy Orton v Cody Rhodes v LA Knight v Je'von Evans v Jey Uso v Trick Williams
(Winner faces Drew McIntyre for the WWE title at WrestleMania)

Only the four matches but the two Chamber matches will take up most of the show, I seriously doubt anymore matches will be for for the show on Smackdown tonight.

Cody Rhodes and Tiffany Stratton are overwhelming favorites to win the Chamber matches, Its funny that you guys mentioned Danhausen as he is reported to be the guy in the crate that will be revealed on the show!

I guess they needed at least one proper heel in the mens chamber match, so Jey got sacrificed and Logan beat Jacob (with some inteference) to take the spot.

Jey Uso wasn't meant to be in the match anyway, Bronson Reed was planned to win the qualifier on Raw and be in the Chamber match but he got injured so they had to pivot and change plans on the fly.

Danhausen is no longer apart of the AEW roster, he is heavy favorite to be the person in the crate which will be revealed on Elimination Chamber tonight.

Another rant about my hatred of Elimination Chamber as a gimmick PPV used as a Royal Rumble loser bracket

The Mens felt even more pointless and just by the numbers than it has been at all, even when the idea this will lead to a multi-man match, with the kicker being Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Sami Zayn, Jacob Fatu and even Aleister Black are all interconnected with each other in this based on Drew McIntyres desire to keep Cody Rhodes away as much as possible.

We could've had Nick Aldis came in with a final trump card and 🤬 you to Drew McIntyre and have the 6 of them be in an Elimination Chamber at Wrestlemania for the WWE Championship, and Id be so down for that but sadly since the Chamber is locked as a gimmick event and not a GMs final dispute, this outcome was mever going to happen and we ended up with this instead.

The men's chamber match wasn't great and the last five minutes saved it but it still felt a bit of a mess, Seth Rollins return is great but I don't think he was meant to be back yet but because of the injuries in The Vision storyline maybe they brought him back a little earlier then planned. He is meant to face Logan Paul at Mania now and I think the original plan was for him to face Breakker.

As for the WWE title picture, my god what a mess that is! I'm happy that Randy won the chamber match but if they are doing a multi person match anyway then last night was a bit redundant, Drew will defend his title against Cody on Smackdown this week as punishment for Drew costing Cody last night, I agree with Com Fox that a chamber match for the title at Mania would have been better.

I liked the women's chamber match and that Rhea won it, I think the match between her and Jade will be pretty good but like I said before I haven't been impressed with Jade in WWE so far, I was pretty impressed with Kiana James last night. Elsewhere CM Punk retaining his title came as no shock but AJ Lee winning the IC title was a surprise. I don't know what to make of Danhausen as I've never seen him wrestle, there were audible boos after his reveal last night.

I quite enjoyed the show overall.

Everyone was expecting Jericho in the box. From what I've heard, Danhausen isn't the best when it comes to ring work.

Yeah from what I've seen Danhausen is entirely unremarkable on pure in-ring stuff. Mostly comedy which works the best when paired with a straight-up wrestleman like his feud/partnerships with Hook and The Gunns in AEW.

And to be truthful that's great simply for my belief in the three-ring circus type of mainstream wrestling

Yeah, I'm not against guys like Danhausen in the company, in fact hes a breath of fresh air.

They just really set him up with the whole box reveal gimmick.

I've nothing against Danhausen, but WWE has proven that they don't really know how to do comedy properly anymore so unless the writers just kind of forget about him so he can do his own thing, I can't see him lasting very long.

I'm expecting Jericho is going to be filling the role of this year's Wrestlemania Nostalgia Pop, if he is going to be coming back at all.

WWE Women's Championship is cursed to have stupid, awkward storylines at Wrestlemania it seems.

I don't care if the whole beef between Jade and Rhea over a twitter is a work the whole fourth wall breaking online and reaction aftermath is stupid.

We have a new Intercontinental champion, Penta beat Dominik Mysterio to win his first title in WWE in what was a good match, Danhausen had his first backstage segment beforehand in which he put a curse on Dominik, so that obviously worked!

The Vision had a rough night, Paul Heyman got attacked by Seth Rollins who hit him with a chair and a curb stomp, he was then put in an Ambulance but it had LA Knight as its driver ('I'll make sure he gets the care he needs...Yeah!') Austin Theory then got attacked by Jimmy Uso to avenge his brother getting taken out on Smackdown, that led to match between the two but Logan Paul and Jey Uso got involved so it went to a DQ.

CM Punk and Roman Reigns had another great verbal battle that was just as good as the first, Punk got the last word when he said he is going to bury Roman right next to his dad.

I'm betting next time they're face-to-face, Roman will mention Larry.

I forgot to mention that Gunther unmasked Dragon Lee in their match as we briefly saw what he looked like, it was a goo match that Gunther mostly dominated and him unmasking Lee just reinforces what a despicable heel he is.

I have to say once thought that you didn't see the Danhausen segment then you really should as it was one of the highlights of Raw and its got a great reaction on social media today, all that criticism of his debut has gone pretty quiet now.

WrestleMania tickets will be 25% off this weekend only. The only obvious reason for this is that ticket sales have been slow and poor, and the main reason for that is those prices are so high and out of reach for so many, its also been reported that WWE have changed match plans several times for the show.
Durn well we missed that opportunity; it's boring staying at home all the time. But we have all our health issues and it prevents us from doing extensive travelling. We ride around town and go to the store, pharmacy and doctor's offices. That's pretty much it. My grandpa is a huge WWE fan.

One of these days, I'll actually go to one of the PLE's. I mainly want to try to go to the Rumble, Mania and SummerSlam.

A few friends were thinking about going to this year's Mania when it was originally announced that it would be in New Orleans.

Just wait till a week or two before the show, it's likely there will be tickets going at heavy discount somewhere. There's still a fair amount that aren't sold yet and WWE would rather start papering the event than let there be visible blocks of empty seats.

I wouldve love to go to Crown Jewel last year but tickets to Perth on top of accomodation and the usual high ticket prices now, just made it a no.

And even if y'alls get priced out of 'Mania tickets, look at one of the tag-along shows other promotions do.

Stardom's WrestleMania weekend show, could literally do ringside technically for like $200 v.s thousands for Mania

There is a WWE title match on Smackdown tonight with Drew McIntyre defending against Cody Rhodes, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they do a title change and put the belt back on Cody, the WWE title picture looks messy right now.

'Road Dogg' Jesse James has left his WWE writer role this week, he did leave and wasn't released or fired. Apparently he wasn't happy about something and this had been on the cards for a while.

I'm lost on the WWE Title match.

What even was the rules, one minute its no DQ, the next they act like there are DQs.

I'm not against the outcome and what it leads to (though I feel like if this was the end result for mania, Cody should've dropped the title much earlier than he did) but the match just had me confused more than engaged XD

The pacing of that entire match felt kind of odd and the botched announce table spot halfway through really put the brakes on its momentum, that might've had something to do with it.
