A good RAW last night IMO.

  • Street Profits and Hendry won against The Vision with help from Rollins.
  • Evans beat Rusev after an altercation between them, Ethan Page and Penta.
  • Raquel and Perez interrupted Brie and Paige. Morgan attacked from behind and Judgement Day stand tall over the champs.
  • Logan and Theory leave the building in a car with Maxxine.
  • Oba obliterated Los Garza after Pearce announced that nobody wanted to fight him.
  • IYO and Asuka have an emotional goodbye moment. Asuka leaves as IYO prepares for her match against Sol Ruca. That match was my favorite (I love both stars, especially Sol).
  • The AAA Championship was defended with Dom retaining against OG Americano after interference with El Grande Americano.
  • Jacob refused to acknowledge Reigns and applied the Tongan grip on him and slamming him through the announce table.

Confirmed matches for SNME:
  • World Tag Team Championship (The Vision vs Street Profits)
  • Intercontinental Championship (Penta vs Ethan Page)

I'm most likely not going to watch SmackDown live tonight due to a certain "beep-beep-vroom-vroom" game, but I'll catch the highlights on YouTube.

Cody Rhodes v Gunther for the WWE title has been made for Clash In Italy in two weeks, a six women tag match between Ripley/Flair/Bliss and Cargill/B-Fab/Michin has been made for SNME which is next Saturday.

Smackdown was pretty good with a couple of fresh matches, Carmelo Hayes beat Ricky Saints and Gunther beat Royce Keys in a number contenders main event, Trick Williams got a hot reception in front of his home town crowd and he looks more like a star every week.

WWE has been okay the past few weeks but nothing amazing, it seems like there is a bit of a hangover from WrestleMania where everything just feels a little meh.

Season 5 No GIF by The Office

j/k may as well :sly:

What I'm predicting:
  • Lesnar wins at Clash, then the tiebreaker at SummerSlam
  • Oba wins again, then they set up Gunther/Lesnar at SummerSlam.

Brock Lesnar's 'retirement' lasted for 29 days.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with TKO suddenly finding a bunch of extra money laying around due to people leaving or getting lowballed on their contracts. Nothing at all, nosiree...

So, it's not too far from one the biggest matches in your career. You're pushing public decency in an elevator (😏) and the dude who got in the elevator asked you to stop. Do you:
  • stop
  • complain and stop
  • physically assault the man and stop
If you chose the third option, congratulations you're copying Ludwig Kaiser's current legal drama

Saturday Night's Main Event is tonight, the card looks okay with three title matches, its almost an entirely Raw show with the only Smackdown match being the women's six person tag match. the three title matches are the world tag titles with The Vision defending against Street Profits, Penta defending his IC title against Ethan Page, Paige and Brie Bella defending their women's tag titles against Irresistible Forces, Becky Lynch faces Sol Ruca in a non title match.

Like i have mentioned before SNME is not really for overseas viewers what with it being only on YouTube and with as breaks that you cant skip, Its far better to watch it later or on delay so you can skip the ads, I will watch tomorrow afternoon.

Clash In Italy is next Saturday, Rhea Ripley v Jade Cargill for the women's title has been made and its three matches for the show so far.

tony's got a new talking head to play with

Cope and Christian are tag champs together 25 years since their last run 🧓

WWE has started their Summer European tour, its started in Liverpool tonight with a live event show and Smackdown will be in Barcelona tomorrow ahead of Clash In Italy which is on Sunday and not Saturday.

Raw on Monday will be from the same venue as Clash with Smackdown next week coming from Bologna, Italy. Raw next Monday will be in Paris. Then after that it will be back to the States for a little bit before another European trip which starts in Cardiff on the 20th.

Here is the card for WWE Clash In Italy which takes place today/tonight.

Oba Femi v Brock Lesnar

Women's Intercontinental Championship.
Becky Lynch (c) v Sol Ruca

WWE Women's Championship.
Rhea Ripley (c) v Jade Cargill

Undisputed WWE Championship.
Cody Rhodes (c) v Gunther

World Heavyweight Championship-Tribal Combat Match.
Roman Reigns (c) v Jacob Fatu

Its a good card, I'm unsure of the match order as they are doing the first hour on ESPN2 again, its the first time ever that WWE has staged a PLE in Italy. its on at 7pm UK time.

Last night the OG El Grande Americano was unmasked in the mask v mask match against the other El Grande, it was of course Chad Gable.

What a shock surprise! Who ever thought it was Gable all this time?

Obviously joking...

Related to that, it's just amazing how over Keizer is in AAA. I bet if Dom drops the title to him, the crowd will go wild.

Clash In Italy was really good with a hot crowd, the only title change was Sol Ruca beating Becky Lynch to become new women's Intercontinental champion. Brock Lesnar perhaps surprisingly beat Oba Femi but it took seven F5's including one through the announce table to pin the Ruler.

Roman Reigns beat Jacob Fatu to retain his title in the tribal combat main event and Fatu now has to acknowledge Roman and fall in line on Raw tonight. Cody beat Gunther in the opening match but Gunther had his foot on the bottom rope during the pin but the ref didn't see it, technically its still a rare pinfall loss for Gunther. Rhea Ripley beat Jade Cargill to retain her women's title but she had help from Charlotte Flair.

Raw tonight is at the same venue in Italy as Clash was. The King and Queen's of the ring tournament starts fatal four way first round matches on both sides. Its Oba Femi v Penta v Solo Sikoa v Carmelo Hayes for the men's tonight with Liv Morgan v Becky Lynch v Alexa Bliss v Chelsea Green for the women. The winners of the tournaments get a future title shot so I don't know why current women's champ Liv Morgan is there.

I feel that Vaquer was supposed to be in Liv's spot, but she couldn't travel with her injury.

I forgot about Vaquer! But i did read last week that she is close to a return, maybe she could return tonight to attack Liv and cost her the match.

Oba Femi and IYO Sky both advanced in the King/Queen of the ring, Femi pinned Solo Sikoa plus beat Carmelo Hayes and Penta in a fun match which included him beating people up during his entrance and then he did his in ring pose. Sky pinned Giulia in a match which also featured Roxanne Perez and Lash Legend.

Jacob Fatu acknowledged Roman Reigns and is now part of the Bloodline, I didn't like this as it feels we have seen it before and its not fresh or new, we saw all this like three years ago, the hot Italian crowd loved it though and Roman had to wait a few minutes in ring before he could speak because of the crowd noise and chants.

Seth Rollins beat Bron Breakker in a good main event, they also showed the entire mask v mask match between the Grande's at the end of Raw and I highly recommend you see it as it was brilliant!

It was also announced that Finn Balor has been moved to Smackdown, this is a great move as it moves him away from the Judgement Day stuff and it means fresh matches on the blue brand.

Smackdown has happened as it was in Bologna, Italy.

Gunther is getting his rematch v Cody Rhodes for the title in two weeks, Gunther gets to pick the stipulation for the match and will announce it next week.

Raquel Rodriguez is through to the QOTR semi finals, she pinned Kiana James in the the first round match which also had Jacy Jayne and Bayley. Rodriguez will face IYO Sky in the semi finals.

Dominik Mysterio is through through to the KOTR semi finals, he pinned Damien Priest in the first round match which also had Trick Williams and Bron Breakker. Dom of course had help from Liv Morgan and McDonagh and will face Oba Femi in the semi final, good luck with that!

Chad Gable is seemingly on Smackdown now after a couple of backstage appearances tonight, he got a huge pop during the first one.

Raw is in Paris tonight as WWE's European tour continues, here is what's advertised.

Sol Ruca v Lyra Valkryia (women's IC title match)
Penta v Rey Mysterio (men's IC title match)
Talla Tonga v Seth Rollins v Je'von Evans v Ricky Saints (KOTR first round match)
Becky Lynch v Chelsea Green v Alexa Bliss v Liv Morgan (QOTR first round match)
Oba Femi to open the show.
