Dude, that's nasty. (:

But seriously ... there are some people who would watch that and think, "Gee, I wonder what it's like ...", next thing you know they're attacking poor inocent farm animals. I know this is true - I avoided them in high school.

UK Garage music causes all sorts...one of the reasons I hate it along with rap, r & b, hip hop, pop, classical, country :p

Yay someone who hates Garage music, most people I know think im a Goth just because I like like Rock music and detest garage. Rap I have no problem with. But Garage is just trying to copy it with a Bad boy image. So you listen to music because of its image. Thats not me I just listen to what sounds good to my ear

That's my feelings exactly. Monkey see, monkey do. But I was actually looking for Ghostrider's responce, since he was the one that made the original statement (:

Thanks for the input, though, mate! heh heh

That I completely agree with. My question, and I'm not picking on you, I just want your opinion - why don't people have good sense?

Well thats a very good question, probably better then the original one. If we really knew the answer to that we be in a better society. Maybe the answer is that we are born with it. Kinda like the gays and lesbians are saying now that they are born that way. I guess thats my best answer I can come up with on your question.

The other thing to think about is how many copies of (lets say GTA3) are out there compaired to how many crimes are being commited based on that game. I would probably guess less than 1%. Going back to the movie The Fast and The Furious, ya alot of problems were accuring around the country but I don't see anything being reported from the game GTA3 that kids are just shooting cops and running over people over for the hell of it. In saying that, I guess that some people have more sense than others and society is trying to protect the people with little sense.

I do agree with you on this also ..
I'm just a little bit afraid what is going to happen in the next couple of years with GTA-3 in the hands of children who's parents aren't paying attention.

Absolutely! An individual is comprised of their experiences. Their thoughts and emotions are build on their experiences and interactions with the world around them. If they build a world of violent games, and (for lack of a better word) hateful music, they're going to become a violent hateful person. "You are what you eat" or more appropriately, "you are what you consume".

so ur saying that some one that listens to rap for example is going to treat women like *****es and someone who plays doom or quake (first ones that came to minds) are gonna run around shooting people, i think if u do something like that ur just messed ui the head and more if u blame it on a videogame, now may be peer pressure could lead to that sort of stuff but don't blame it on music and videogames, like my mom says " would u jump off a building if a friend told you to" no 'cause you no you would die, same with music and videogames if they show people dying and u listen "hateful" music ur not gonna run around killing people or beibg violent 'cause u now it's bad and u could get in trouble for it, so i don't think that "you are what u consume"

i've done stuff that i do in gt-3, i took my parents subaru outback and rallyed it in a field but i wasn't hearting anyone that's why i did it.

Video games may cause misdemeanors, but not felonies.

Well, which one of us licensed drivers who play racing games players has never recieved a speeding ticket?

I rest my case.
