So can GT5 do donuts or still need a another 5 years??
want a simple answer for a simple question . for these types

FWD ?
RWD?
4WD~AWD?
with a stock one

I was doing donuts is the '08 Challenger I won. Haven't bothered trying in anything else.

Yep you can, been doing donuts alot lately.
Already made perfectly round donuts.
Only tried rwd though

Is it possible to turn the brake bias to 0 at the rear and 10 at the front and do a stationary burnout withe a RWD?

You can do burnouts. Hold down the handbrake and gas full-throttle, then release the handbrake and your car should do a burnout if it has sufficient power. :sly:

Or you can just push the brakes completely,
rev up to max rpm, release the brake and then brake a little.

Works with rwd, dunno for fwd or 4wd.

Bonuts are easy, aslong as you feather the trottle and keep a good angle.

Tires are gone fast though, when im done its always a struggle to make it back to the pits :D

Turns out it's easier to do burnouts when you have your G25 plugged in. Trusting the ai with a clutch is a bad idea.
Here's what I got after a bit of playing.
I'll try and get a better shot with a different car.

I tried to do a burnout in a stock '69 Z28. didn't work. :/
2010 Camaro SS came out rather... can we use gay on this forum?
Maybe it needs better tyres.

lol. my mum used to have a savvy. It's just a clio underneath but alot worse. We gave it back because the electrics in them are so ****** up. and the rear suspension exploded when the dealership tested it for the electrical problems

I tried the Camaro SS again with some not so stock tyres.
It's a little odd to get going. I know GT5 is a sim but the cars are very different. :dopey:
Now if only we had the 2010 Roush 427R

--edit--

I'm getting used to this.
The Jaaaag is by far the easiest so far.

Use the '62 special Buick, pump the horses, remove traction control and hold the brakes to get the revs up, starting in second cog, get it going and quickly change to third, keep the big smokey powerskid going into 4th, while trying to keep it sraight. You can smoke up the length of some fairly long straights.
Looks and sounds great on the replays.

Yes 4WD can definately do donuts - not sure if this is the correct term but my brother calls these helicopter donuts?!

EDIT: This a stock standard Mitsubishi GTO (3000GT)

You CAN do stationary burnouts. You gotta set front brake bias to 10 and rear to 0 or 1 or whatever. At first it'll be tough with good tires, but after about thirty seconds the rears will be toast. Once you ruin the back tires it'll work perfectly.

Try the Veyron, that things spins like...well, nothing I know spins that fast.
Lets just say you better not forget to where a seat belt

You can do donuts in FWD too. Just have to know how to use the handbrake. Why is there a thread about this anyways? Was this some sort of deal breaker for the OP or something? OMG no donuts not buying PD=sucks OMG

I've done donuts in RWD and AWD with ease. In a Gallardo on Comfort Hards you can even do them in reverse! :dopey:

For me it actually was! I was so frustrated with GT4 and it's non-working diffs. Now I'm waiting for my PS3+GT5 to arrive in the mail, should be here by tomorrow...!

Edit: Ps. that Proton clip is truly embarassing :D
