Dalone, yea 22.5 is my cut off point usually at 1st sector, although If i mess up it is always on 2nd lap, due to overtaking and where I meet them.

I see I had actually changed my ride height to -13 -10....hmmm car is at 384bhp, 994kg 581pp 94kg at 11, 50.3 power

Anyway, so much stuff going on here now, Gt, TT till wedns. Maybe after try some PP at nordschleife, have 630pp with Ford gt spec ii

I have just done a few laps and screwed up just after the 1st sector, but was getting 21.7 on them.

Unless I am right up the 10th cars backside before the left turn, and pass it on it, I restart, which may explain why I often end a completed lap at 581pp.

I also found I did better not dropping down a gear at the next l/h corner and overtake 9th car well before the hairpin left before the 1st sector.

hmmm, i go from 5 to 3 at left before hairpin, our gearing are diff. So you prob stay in 4th. maybe will try 4th. And I am in 7th place before next hairpin, and then the race is on.

Did a 21.51 at the 1st sector then stuffed it overtaking the Mazda.

Find I can sometimes overtake the 9th car on the r/h side of the r/h corner, before the hairpin left.

At the left hairpin I try and go around as much as I can in the higher gear before changing down, I am using TC1 which causes a small delay before accelerating fully.

And I always overtake outside at that next l/h hairpin, it's always a red car.

Anyway that's enough for me tonight, good luck with your efforts Noway.

Nurb is kicking my a$$!! Using only stock settings and adding downforce if i could, closest I came was second by 0.168 with the Mazda 787. Also tried 2j, Peugeot 908 and the Jag with no luck!!

And idea what is a good stock car to use?

Give the Nissan R92CP Race Car '92 a try @710PP

Alternative use Audi R8 Race car and you ought to get a very easy win.

just cannot beat the rab at nurb! I started out doing around 6.30 and slowly improved - after many, many tries and just about every car suggested here. The rab was winning with a time between 6.19.9 and 18.8. I would get within a second or two and that was it. Then I did my best ever lap in a nissan r92cp with a time of 6.18.418 and the bloody rab did under 6.18 for the first time - 6.17.412. I just cant win this one...aaargh! Just venting frustration!!!

p.s. I HATE that bloody jag

I don't see what everyone's problem is. I've been winning the Nurburgring race at 650pp in about 6 different cars with no issues. The car doesn't really matter. It's the driving.

Could it be that you are a better driver? And use a wheel and pedals?

I use DS3. I just ran a 5:58 on this with my R10 TDI at 672pp (stock)

Great time though !

If you dont know this course like the back of your hand and the cars limits, doesnt matter what car you use at Nordschleife

I know. I've put over 50 hours of driving into this circuit

Well, after trying about 30 different set-ups, I finally beat the Nurb with the Audi Playstation Team Oreca R8. And now I will never touch that particular race again.

I can post the tune if anyone else is struggling. I had about 2 seconds on the Jag even after failing with my 787B and various other Group C's and LMP's.

EDIT: Oh, and the ticket finally gave me a GT-One. I've been hunting for that car forever.

hey, can you please post the tune? I'm struggling with my Sauber C9 at Nord'

I don't know who was worse on that track, me or the drunken AI. Either way, it made for an infuriating race.

yes, experts dont do seasonals, you will find them on the TT leaderboards. We just have fun here. Great job Dalone! times falling quick.

Tell me Dalone, can you keep the takata above 200km for most of the roundabout?

No mate, it's mostly in the 190's, high and low.

And I start again if the 1st sector time is above 22 sec's and if the 2nd sector is above +20.5. If I can still see the Citroen before it turns right at that point I'll likely keep going and overtake it on the carousel.

I've put a car together to help everyone who is struggling on the ring. I managed a lap in 5:46, but there is a lot more time to be found in that. mike_gt3 took this car at 700pp for a 5:28 lap (no SRF) so with the right driver the car could be easily 15sec faster. And for those who use it, I'd like some feedback on the tune. Thank you.

Another small improvement @ the Cape, with Suba's choice, the Takata.

NOTES: I chose the R8 because you can squeeze a little extra rear downforce out of it with the GTAuto wing, which is a godsend on the long uneven "straights" of the Nurb'. I'm sure someone can come up with a far better tune than this, but I know that this can win the Nordschleife even in my unskilled hands.

Dalone your turn...567pp 7:20.051, BL 1:26.023 ....453bhp, 1210kg

4.401.150 cr 430965xp
changed setup a bit made big diff.

I thought the jag was always running about 7:21....7:20 now all the time, prob I am wrong
Prob a 565pp in this

Suba how have you been doing with this one?

I think that i stopped at 580pp or 575pp...not sure... and then i was looking for another car,
i thought that maybe HONDA WEIDER HSV-010 (SUPER GT) '11 was faster but nothing better than Takata...anyway tomorrow if i have time i ll try something different

congatulations both of you for your good job and for your records

NOTE:I know when i can win easy with 590pp or 580pp you can do much better from me with 10-20 lower pp so i posted about Takata and i m sorry for the '' experts''....it was a joke not irony

many thanks to shoe67 for his great tunes

Yep Noway, 565pp is done. 444hp...1223kg .BL 2:26 ..total 7:21.677. Won by .099 sec.

$4,449,250 ..xp 435675. Did one or two exceptional sectors however the Jag was still a few car lengths in front at the last hairpin before the lead up to the carousel, due to some silly mistakes on my part. Didn't actually take the lead until the last corner, which I didn't do well either.
That's it for now, taking the boys out. Good luck you guys.

And thanks again Suba for finding the Takata, more power to you mate, keep up the good work!
