do they make 4wd gas cars?

im thinking about the possibilities of me doing a dual engine 4wd car...escudoPP style. lol.

but then again....i dont really have money to waste.

Damn if their was any place near here that sold 'em I'd buy 'em in an instant. I'd take the A'pex RX-7 thank you.:)👍

oh, and that hobby store here only has an FC, s15, and a 180sx...

they DO make s13's, do they not? shame on them if they dont.

4WD nitro cars are pretty common, the Schumacher Menace pictured is as are many popular nitro tourers. Dual engine isn't really worth bothering with, a Schumacher Fusion is 1/10th with a .21 and will do 100mph with optional; gearing. I've seen a speed readout for one standard at 75mph! As for S13s, Frewer and ABC Hobbies have both done them as a 190mm touring car shell.

but it comes in the tokomo package? im a newb when it comes to the merchandise and whatnot...but my friend has a TON of rc cars, so i know basics i guess.

sorry lol.

It's bad to drift gas cars for 1 main reason...It will melt your clutch shoes...Thats why most drift electrics. Plus recharging batteries is a ton cheaper than buy nitro fuel for 25 bucks a gallon as I run Blue Thunder Race Formula.

im trying to make a fuel cell car for my science project though....too bad i cant find any of those chem kits with the cell and the solar h2o splitter too.

Omnis

No S13 in Yokomo I'm afraid. If you are starting out I wouldn't recommend the Yokomo as it is pretty complex. Best way to learn is through a Tamiya electric as they are strong and can be upgraded. You can then put whetever shell you want on (S13 included) and some drift tyres if thats what you want to do. They are cheaper than the Yoke as well.

I learned the hard way that trying to drift a HPI NMT (4WD) on pavement was a horrible idea. I hate curbs.

My rush on the other hand is a blast to drift on dirt, gravel and pavement.

Yokomo makes a Silvia, I saw one at the R/C Drift booth at Formula Drift. (Maybe it was made by another company and just fits on Yokomo chassis?)

ABC makes a few 86's i belive.....and i just got my HPI sprint yesterday! SO MUCH FUN!!!!...and i learned...dont chase your dog indoors with a 1/10 scale...

here is a picture of my Yokomo drift car. With the HPI s2000 bodyshell on it... she goes like a rocket sideways.. Running a Tamiya super stock Type RZ motor, LRP speedy and futaba electronics. Runs customised tyres for drift.

Worth every penny i spent on it..

drilled disc brakes.....oooooh ahhhh

With my HPI Sprint GTi I have a 14 double motor in it and my Dad's early 90's electronics he used for the UK Championships (these are now outlawed from the championships nowadays because they are too complex and the prices for these were getting crazy, I bet my dad's glad he had good close connections with the factory teams.;)). It goes like fawk and the small chassic makes it a lot of fun to flick around. When the tyres start to blister and melt around the edges thats when the drifting can start. These are rubber slicks but the 14 double motor still manages to get the little GTi sideways.

I've got the X-Mods drift kit on the way, should be interesting if it's any good. Anyone else drift on low pile carpet?

Anyone know where a good place to get hood/roof scoops for RC/model cars is? The motor in the Supra gets hot as hell, even with a drilled heat sink.

Thanks for the user title compliments, major char. map ownage. :D

Does anyone have any tips on how to get PVC tubing onto the rims of a 1/10 RC? Also, doesn't the PVC let off Hydrogen Chloride which when inhaled diffuses into Hydrochloric Acid inside us? Not the safest thing to have in large amounts swishing around inside us.

Heres my future drifter, just purchased TT01 Enzo

A paintjob like the Italian Police Gallardo would look kick-a**. But that's my opinion.

Your idea 👎 :yuck:
Not to found on that paint. Im not into exotics that much. Im going to paint it metalic black with chrome deep dish wheels. 👍

No offense, but why would you ruin an Enzo with blingy chrome wheels? Black is pretty much a standard color, so don't expect to get much recognition for it. If I were you, I'd go with a deep blue body, and gunmetal or "racing bronze" colored 6 or 7 spoke wheels.

And if anyone is interested, I just put up a large R/C drift article at the link in my sig.

I could care less, its just a toy, I personaly like the "bling" as you call it. Black and Chrome is my thing, if you dont like back the F*c* off, aight? I dont expect recognition from the internet. Its what i like not what you people like.

Woo, just a toy? I thought it was the super duper X-Mods killer because it's so elite and definitively not a toy? You're pretty hostile, and that's not what drifting is about. So for your sake, mellow out.

I didn't mean recognition on the internet, either, I meant in real life. If black and chrome is your thing, that's fine. I like black too, and I never said you had to take my ideas, I was just giving you more ideas that perhaps you hadn't thought of.

Hey KonArtist, how much did that Ferrari cost? Also, how fast is it?
And, Does anyone know how fast 2000 Ft. per minute is in MPH?

im new here, but i have been into r/c for nearly 3 years and i have owned at least a dozen models. if anyone has any questions about r/c, what you might want to get, budget items and such, ask me, and i will help
