NICE!...i'm really likin the hazy lighting and stuff i these the more i see them. The game controls and maps look pretty cool too. hope they can be positioned in the PC version. Any news on when that will get released? I heard it'll be a month or two after the console versions.
Nice tariler but I read on the atari forums that they changed the realse date for driv3r to 21st june. Then I checked the offical site and atari uk but nothing has changed.
yeah...that's what i heard too...i know that the US release is slated for June 21...not sure about anywhere else. Also it's just the PS2 and Xbox versions that will be released then...or so i've heard... I think the PC version comes out even later... I feel like after E3 dust settles the info would be more definitive... lots of rumours flying around right now...
nice...there's a new thing on the driv3r site that let's you destory cars with your mouse...it's pretty cool actually...the damage is pretty sweet on the ones that they have up there right now...!
GTA killer? The graphics look pretty damn good. I don't know though, will the guns and stuff take away from what the Driver experience is, or will it just make it better?
my guess is the guns wont be all that important; in fact reflections doesnt even want to be compared to GTA, stressing that their game is more of a "simulation of hollywood car chases" than a "beat whores over the skull with a bat then run them over" kind of game. I don't know which one I would like better though...
Well when I first heard about this game being released in late June, I pulled out Driver 2 and have been playing that quit a bit. This may actaully compete with GTA series.
Well, reviews killed my want to buy 2 games, DRIV3R and Full Spectrum Warrior. EGM's reviews of DRIV3R were depressing as well as gamespot's review of FSW.

EGM hates PC games, if a game is out for PC and a console, they do't even ackknowlege it's existence on the PC. Every month, they have only 1 page that covers PC games, and they don't cover them well...
