I was playing my old GT1 game today when I realized that the original Gt had zero driving aids and I'm pretty sure GT2 is the same way. So what was the point of putting drivig aids on GT3 and GT4 when so many people hate them.
Nicely put. 👍Zer0
I also use traction control. And I use Steering control. I don't see the harm. If every car has 10/10 steering control, then every car can be considered stock when it comes to handling. But only has a little bit of helping.~Sp33~with traction control on, your able to launch harder and more consistantly, which is better especially when your comparing cars over the 400 m, where consistancy is essencial. This is the main reason i use trac control, and the stability management is only used in edurance races when i know that the tires wear down and start to become unstable, this way i dont have to rely on muh driving skill to get me through the race![]()
Gran turismo 2 had traction control as an option that cost a hell of a lot, but i didnt realy notice the difference on most cars.
mipuumalI'm currently running the F1 Championship with a F1 car without aids, and my driving is ~3-5 seconds faster per lap on normal tracks compared to my B-Spec and my tires also last longer.
ZAGGINdriving aids are for old ladies...
SwiftWhy are there driving aids in GT3/GT4. Because there are driving aids on real cars. Granted not every car like it is in GT4 but a lot of the expensive ones have ASM and TCS. So, that's why they are in there.
I personally wish is was more specific to each car. But that's just a pet peeve.
