Yes.. there may be some duplicates...

The reason.. There were 3 selections screens for the cars...
-By manufacturer
-Unveiled (possibley used for bonus/prize cars)
-And by history (sorted according to the year they were released.

The "By manufacturer" listing showed 253 cars
The "Unveiled" screen displayed 51 cars.

Hence the 304 total.

If I get the chance tonight... I will post some screens of the menus that I speak of and will edit the pics if there is overlap.....

If there is overlap of the "unveiled" cars and "manufacturer list" I will change the total to 253 and will request a change of the thread title.

As late as it was last night finishing the post... I did not have a chance to sort that out.....

Thanx.... I hope Jordan.. the Webmaster will have time to create the gallery... i don't know how long the server's will hold out.

Thus far...over 3000 hits with 42megs of images downloaded (per user) is gonna kill the servers these are hosted on.
 
Great pic's, loving the Bug and Carman Ghia, wonder if they will put the 4x4 version of the Panda in? All the old style boy racers are going to love the Renault 5 GT Turbo (heres hoping that the Fiat Uno turbo made it too).
Humm? How come they managed to finish the Opal Tigra for E3 and not the Ford (Racing) Puma? I am in a club (and have talked to) the guy whose car they drove/measured/took photos of/took sound recordings of, so it's got to be in the final game.
 
I got rid of the duplicates and found 293 different cars.

Noteable absences (hopefully in the final!):

Fantastic job Sunkwerx, the CLK-GTR is back and will stay put for the final release I hope and that old Merceds touring car is great and the the M3 GTR and the.......
 
There's a BMW V12 LMR, a Sauber C9, a Saleen S7, an M3 GTR and a CLK GTR, and you people still whine about Ferraris? Sheesh...

I just can't figure out which of these is the most awesome addition. Let's hope we get some roadgoing M3s as well.

How long did it take you to photograph all those cars?


Some of the cars must have taken a while to design and code, apart from the Skyline Turbo X. Which looks like it must have taken 2 minutes to design in real life with a slide rule, never mind on a computer.

Truly one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen. :eek: :)

Awsome pics thanks for posting them. Im starting to worry though, I havnt seen any mk2/3 VW's or any 1st gen Talon/Eclipse pics yet:(
 
Calm down people. PD is saying GT4 will have 500 or more cars. These pics show 293 different cars. There's like, at least, 200 more yet to be seen. I guess most of them will be old cars ( mustangs, ...) and used cars.

I really hope to see more Touring Cars. Old DTM cars were a big surprise for me, but i hope Aussie's V8 , Brazilian V8 Stock Car's and the rest of the ETCC cars.

Plus, if they keep their promise of adding all cars from GT and GT2, i guess there will be WAY more cars than the 500 some sites keep saying.

Some great cars there, on the 120d comment, yes i think its firest diesel car, strange since in diesel you dont shift at red line but around 4000rpm, so im wondering if you get auto will that slow you down etc etc.. too many questions lol:lol:

Remeber weve seen less than 50% of the cars in GT4 so far, KY said there will be more than any previouse GT game so thats 600+ cars.

I hope the cars we've seen here are only 5% of the total cars that will be realesed on the full version. I'm still waiting. :grumpy:
 
There will not be over 6000 cars in GT4, so no this is not 5% of the cars, and if your dissapointed you need to slap yourself. Theres atleast 300 more to come as well so don't go hating cos a few you want to be in have'nt been seen yet.
 
Im transfering the pics to my server right now so you guys can use that bandwidth..Might be a bit slow, (running off mac g3 333mhz, still does the job though....
 
Hmph,
I hope that GT4 will be not another GT3 (with less cars and unexciting gamplay). One of the reason I play GT is simply just the vast majority of cars in the game.
