I'd rather have more renaults then skylines..we've all played gt3, and have all experience tons of skylines, I thnik its time for a change:D.
 
you have to remember it is a game made in japan and KY loves japanese cars (including nissan) and when he walks out of the door of his building what does he see, skylines and other popular japanese cars
 
I understand that, im just saying that I would like to see as many cars from other manufacters as of the amount of Nissan cars.

as far as I know, the CLK-GTR was never in any GT prior to this? It appeared in initial screenshots of GT2..... but wasn't in the game...... anybody know for sure? I know it wasn't in GT3.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Not only that, but Japan's market car sales comprise over 90% domestically produced vehicles. This is due largely to gov't protection of the market, and also the ability of local manufacturers to produce cars suitable for the Japanese, at a price that works.

So to a Japanese person, as cool as foreign cars are, they comprise just a fraction of the cars sold in the country, just a fraction of the cars on the road (No wonder the Japanese produce so many special or variant models). For most of us in Engish-speaking or European countries this sort of market composition is unbelievable.

So, no one should be surprised by the dominance (in the past, and possibly continuing) of Japanese cars in GT. Lucky many of them are so cool.

yes you are correct about GT2, Technically the CLK GTR isnt in GT4 ethier
 
No it's the CLK LM
 
They should have put in the CLR.It looks much better IMO and it fly's.
 
But KY said: Cars won't be able to flip over in GT4, so what is the USE of the fly mode of the CLR :lol:
 
It'll be able to wheelie at a speed far lower than any other car?

It's fortunate no one was injured in those crashes so we're free to joke about them.
 
Indeed Mark Webber was very very lucky that time!
Was a good call be Mercedes to quit le mans for that year amyway, still a shame they didn't come back...
 
we have 2 hybrid cars so far, the insight and the prius and maybe a couple more, i dont know all of the hybrids

Can't they tell it doesn't have any F1 cars in it?

Although, I would like to see the 69 Charger and the Cobra Coupe Race Car myself.
 
How does everyone know there will for 100% be F1 cars?
 
Someone said KY had said there would be some, but I don't think any of us know for certain. After their popularity in GT3 I don't see them dropping them from the line up.
 
This picture was taken last October during a promo event which included Juan Pablo Montoya when he was at Suzuka for the GP of Japan... anyway... while it may look similar to the F1 cars in GT3, the fact that it was displayed during a GT4P promo event might be a good indication that F1 cars will return...

Didn't Sony secure some F1 exclusives last year? It would be a shame to waste that, don't ya think?

True, PD could be making a F1 game, instead of adding F1s to GT4. But the rumor is they are making a bike racing game, in addition to GT4, and not a F1 game.

Yeah Sony secured some key rights last year, that's the reason you see the official Forumla 1 $Year games on the PS2.

From that screenshot above, there'll be 6 F1 cars again, that looks like the F094/x of GT3 right? We don't have it in Aus so I'm guessing. Wonder what the rest look like...
 
Yep Sony own the sole rights to F1 for a few years, they still won't put real F1 cars in GT4 though because they will want to use them in an official F1 game but KY did say the F1 style cars will return in GT4.

Isn't it SCEE who own the F1 rights ? That means that Sony owns the rights only in Europe, or not ?

Would this mean that PAL gets official F1s, or would that be too difficult to do with online play?
 
SCE own's the rights, SCEE is part of SCE as is SCEJ. SCE is Sony computer entertainment nd covers all sub division like SCE Japane ect.
