Depends on how much you want to make. Once you hit the Extreme series and have beaten "Like the Wind" you can easily replay Indy. It takes about 3-4 minutes and nets 70k Credits and a few thousand Experience. Aside from that, there is a similar race in the American Championship that nets 98k and a few thousand experience for 5-6 minutes work. As far as I know there is nothing like the easy money in GT3/4, which is probably for the best.

Using a fully modded RM ZR1, you can make 98,000 cr. in under 4 minutes a race. In an hour, you could make about 1.47 million cr.

That's extremely optimistic. I probably average around $1 mill per hour. I run 10 races every night so I'm not just guessing.

Actually, that's the max possible you could theoretically make. Each race for me in the ZR1 is 3:45-3:50 but since the total amount of loading time > 3 minutes and 45 seconds for 15 races, you would most likely just make 1 million.

Ford GT LM race car Spec II fully tuned at Indianapolis 3m52 sec n 98000 cr.

This is exactly what I'm doing with my Corvette C6 ZR1 RM, if you don't have the money to purchase this car, you could always use a Nascar in this race or purchase a Dodge Viper ACR for 100,000 cr and modify it to the fullest. This would be a less expensive route if you don't have enough money for the ZR1.

If you are over level 11 and have a really good car, keep doing the Professional Series > Supercar Challenge > Daytona to get $17,300 every two and a half minutes for placing first.

If you are over level 17 and have a really good car, keep doing the Expert Series > Turbo Challenge > High Speed Ring to get $36,000 every three and a half minutes for placing first.

If you are over level 22 and have a really good car, keep doing the Extreme Series > European Championship > Rome Circuit (5 laps) to get $83,000 every five minutes for placing first.

If you are over level 22 and have a really good car, keep doing the European Championship > Deep Forest to get $83,000 every seven and a half minutes for placing first.

If you are over level 23 and have a really good car, keep doing the Extreme Series > American Championship > Super Speedway - Indy to get $98,000 every five minutes for placing first

Fast way to make money and you can't enter the like the wind challenge :

La Festa Cavillino (3 laps on Monza)
price : Ferrari California
sell it for 70.000

Easiest one off money is probably the special events: Karting, NASCAR, Top Gear, etc.

You never mentioned your level so we don't know what to tell you that could be any use. I've done ALOT of races since then so I'm sure theres better options, but the British Lightweight races are quick and easy. My Lotus passes all the other racers in the first lap no problem, race is over in ~4 minutes and win $24,100. Not bad unless you're way past that and need more money.

Save money and CAREFULLY pick cars. As much as I didn't like the car at first, I bought a Renault Clio for the Euro Hot Hatch race and Tous France. I used my 512BB Ferrari for Festival Italia, Supercar Nostalgia, and even Festa Cavillino. I was going to get a Murcilago for Supercar Festival, but got a Gallardo so I could also do Trofeo Gallardo. Being able to use these cars earlier in B spec made those races super easy money. The list can keep going, take the time to look around and save money.

I literally set a timer and ran the American Championship 98,000 cr. race 12 times in an hour, immediately loading the next race as fast as possible when I finished one.

I ended up making 1,176,000 in an hour.

My Corvette ZR1 RM runs Indy at 3:45 for 5 laps. My Minolta Does it in 3:21. . . Can anyone one tell me where or what American car I can get that can equal my Minolta? Btw, the Minolta is fitted with a High Range Turbo.

There is no American Car that is an LMP in GT5, so the best bet would be the ZR1, or if you must the Mark IV, the 2J, etc.

It would be saving about 25 seconds but as mentioned, there is no way to enter a post 1980 LMP car into that race.

I do the 10 lap Indy race in the Minolta in the dream cup. Obviously it takes a little longer but at just over six minutes you get about £100k and about 10kxp

If you've done the update, then the Dream Car Indy race is the way to go. $107,000 CR, 9880 EXP, in just over 6 mins. Now with no loading times, it's fast. Great way to get money and level up quickly.

Well if you're looking to lvl up be sure to do all of the challenges (Vettle challenge has ridiculous XP) and also be sure to do the new seasonal races.

With the new update I don't see much trouble in eventually getting to lvl40 without "grinding". I have done a fair amount of grinding prior to the update (lvl33 currently).

Im now doing the American Championship race and gettin 117k a race. Much easier than the Like the wind race and you can get around without havin to think as much.

Ok. So the 2J modded would be the best bet? I though about using something else like the Spec II Ford GT or the 51 Oreca Viper since its GT1 spec and just mod it from there. I've even found a Panoz in the UCD but didn't have the cash at the time. For the time being I'll deal with the Corvette when I need to grind quickly. The FGT handles Indy pretty well though for the Dreamcar Indy race. I think once I get my hands on the X1 it won't be as big of an issue.

My advice is to forget about the cash and go for experience points. The cash might not maximised but its still a lot, and I assure you as you go further in the game you will be awash with money but you'll then be grinding a second time for the xp you could have got the first time.

The 10 lap Indy gives loads more xp, and only slightly less cash
