Checks which party she is from yep a party with links to the pkk.

Good riddance she should have been thrown in long ago.

Sigh so many Turkish "experts" on this thread.

You don't need to be an 'expert' in anything to know that jailing your political opponents for exercising free speech is the hallmark of dictators!

Yet your ok with people going to jail for simply saying things about the president?

What kind of sham democracy is that?

Which democracy would allow a party with terrorist links to be in parliament.

By the way lots of those Kurdish parties with links to pkk are still allowed in Parliament thanks to Erdogan.

Erdogan has stuffed up big time for doing this.

Forget about all of that and actually look at why she is arrested.

Please explain how your fine with that.

Democratic ones, but that's not why she was jailed, so it's irrelevant.

Once again irrelevant.

Erdogan has stuffed up big time for doing this.
Why? Because she committed the heinous crime of being critical of him?

Leaders who jail people for doing that are dictators, plain and simple. Something you seem to support.

You lose your free speech when you have links to terrorist groups.

By the way demirtas the man who said he will burn Turkey down and build statues of terrorist leader ocalan rots in prison.

I can praise and critise erdogan for many things like tanking the economy and handling the refugees.

Somehow we have lots of Turkish experts here barely know anything about the country its history, political system, interests and geopolitics automatically assume its another European or an Arabic country thinking its the same.

The charge being made had nothing to do with terrorist groups.

Do you understand how easy it is to take away rights if you go by that logic, you don't even need proof of a crime.

I don't even need to be an expert of Turkey or any country to understand rule of law, what it looks like when a democracy turns into a dictatorship and the lack of human rights.

You lose your free speech when you have links to terrorist groups.
Only in a dictatorship, in a democracy, you can literally have them in parliament.

By the way demirtas the man who said he will burn Turkey down and build statues of terrorist leader ocalan rots in prison.
Which has **** all to do with the case being discuss, more deflection.

I can praise and critise erdogan for many things like tanking the economy and handling the refugees.
Whataboutery, as such its irrelevant.

Quote me saying that?

Looks like that the Turks have voted for more Erdogan and killed off their last chance of economic revival.

Morons.

Of all candidates the opposition choose a man who has lost to Erdogan so many times.

KK has now a record loss in Turkish political history while Erdogan recorded a record 12th victory in elections.

Clown show.

Erdogan is reaching 70, Devlet Bahceli is 70+ while Kemal Kilictaroglu is 77 years old. Time to put them all into retirement homes.

He'll probably argue that they should be able to do this because America is soon going to elect an 80 year old, Russia will probably have its 70+ year old dictator, and China is not far behind.
