What for? They know about it.
It's the lack of info and an estimated fix time that gets me.
Uhhh... no plz. We wouldn’t get the update. But I know what you mean: the monthly update was a slideshow on the meeting. I couldn’t be less interested, I just want new tracks and cars. Now let’s pray they read this threadThey better be releasing the update like right now for the servers to be down.
Believeable, but I wonder how’d you go about ddossing psn. Not much requesting to be doneThis.
When PSN was hacked so badly several years ago, (GT5 was our latest GT), Sony did the exact same thing. They said it was experiencing issues and were looking into it.
That outage lasted a FULL 7 WEEKS. Just incase there's any gamers here who weren't there.
Sony experienced the biggest hack in their history. Didn't communicate with their customers about it, only telling the world several weeks later that it had been hacked.
They moved the entire server farm to another location and would've spent a lot of money on new infrastructure. At the time I remember them saying that it was to ensure it would never happen again....
And this is what this reminds me off.
Stinks like a massive DDOS or hack attempt. And they've said the exact same as before.
(Nothing).

If I understand correct waiting so long to tell customers would be illegal now under GDPR to all of who live in the EU.This.

You already know what the outcome would be, anyway. You'd be starting in the back and ending up with a podium finish. I saw you do it at Tokyo Expressway, the other day. After 1 lap you blasted past me on the straightaway in your GT40 like I was standing still, and I'm pretty sure you got 3rd.Fortnite works (got in the battle bus) switched back to GTS immediately NP-33470-6
It's not PSN, everything else except GT works fine, including PSN. At least for me.I hate PSN since they launched it for this sort of things hate GT because it wont save without it. But i have a life so dont care that much for now......
I remember that summer as well. The hack happened at the perfect time for 17 year old me as I had nice summer evenings to enjoy underage drinking in a park lolAs I remember there were a few hackers charged over it. Can't remember what happened next to them but it should still be all searchable online.
Ironically enough it happened right in the middle of summer as well.
Bored teenagers from school with a Sony grudge is the usual sort.
DDOSing the accounts to gain the private information and credit card information held within happened also in that attack.

But I know what’s meant. Gts is so online focused that you can’t enjoy the game offline. That’s a major drawback. I never went online until the senior days of gt6 and never missed it. Now... huh. Vicegripped by the netsIt's not PSN, everything else except GT works fine, including PSN. At least for me.
This isn't a complete outage, right? People have shared that they can still sign in, play other games online, use other apps, etc. This seems to be affecting GTS almost exclusively, unless I've missed reports of the outage branching out to other things.
Unless you only play gts and nothing else, no. But... er...This isn't a complete outage, right?
