who would win if thy raced each other?
Considering it's a well-publicized fact that the Escudo can make the highest top speed more easily than anything else, this is a fairly obvious question to be answered...300zxfairmanlets say oval. because the it's up to top speed
Uncle HarryThis is actually a good thought provoking poll.
I did some research over at Racing Line best times section and actually the Escudo not only has the higher top speed it also has faster lap times than the GT40 at Seattle. 1:15.415 againsts the GT40 1:19.069. My vote went to the Escudo.
300zxfairman you will find you get on a lot better with the old hands at GTP if you listen lots and do not upset them. At least you have listened and taken actions to rectify your poor start.
DarinImpossible. A Escudo cannot do a 1:15.415 stock. Thats damn right impossible. This is GT3 man, not GT2.
I do so hope Famine comes along and shows you how to drive the Escudo. How 'bout it Famine? Up to teaching the youngsters? I would, but I haven't bothered learning how to drive a car I don't use.TS020Escodo sucks,yesterday I have testing them both on complex string before voting here;
Escudo:4:43.7
GT40:4.39.2
-4.5!!

FamineThe GT40 runs on skinnier tyres, has vented drum brakes and a poorer power-to-weight ratio. I'd expect that someone who could drive "The Thing" would slap a GT40 (driven by someone who could drive that properly too - it's got it's own driving style which makes it a great deal of fun) on any track you care to mention.
4'43 for an Escudo on Complex String doesn't sound right, unless it's very, very stock. I peeled a stock GT-One Road car around Complex (as part of the 100 laps of Complex String) in very low 3'40s and the Escudo's PWR eclipses it by some way.
EATMEwhy is this even a topic....The Escudo is a 1800hp beast that cant turn and the GT40 is a decently powered car....Why not make a poll where each car can be evenly compared
