Ah ok. I haven’t tried using my mic but wasn’t sure if they allowed it. If it’s something people want, we could arrange it for next race!
 
I had one of the worst nights I’ve had for a while but I’ll leave that down to Bathurst and my tendency to want to oversteer before corners
 
I should maybe have practiced a bit more. First time actually racing a gr.4 and was very very slow and all over the track! I’ll put it down to my love for Bathurst and my tiredness from work haha
 
Cheers all for last night was good fun.

Reasonably happy with a 4th and a 5th, probably best I could have hoped for given the Mazda's complete lack of top end.

Was catching people through the mountain section but no where to overtake. Only to get left for dead on the straights, very frustrating!
 
I constantly get swallowed up on the standing starts. Its very unfair. Can we please switch to rolling starts so that the TT can have a chance of being competitive at some point this season?
 
One thing these races highlight is with a field of fairly competent drivers the BOP is still a way off.

For example my Mazda was topping out at about 158mph yet others were hitting about 165mph down the straights...That's too big a margin to make up round the corners.

Only way round it is to run 1 make series.

The Nurburgring is another point and squirt circuit so you might be wanting for top speed next week as well. I wonder if the Lancer and Evo also struggle on the straights?

Maybe once your cars speed gets balanced. i remember being on your bumper going into the back straight and still you were pulling away :lol:

I was kidding.. although it would be to not be a start line roadblock for you all to try and get around.

It didn't feel like I was pulling away but it was enough to wipe out any slipstream advantage. Which I was very pleased about.
