I might restart my career, with Caterham at the moment and I can't get out of Q1 even though my goals are set to qualify 14th! AI is on legend and I've scored 1 point so far and I'm currently in Spain having qualified 16th (wet Q1 and I went out on slicks at the last minute) should I stick it out? I'm not enjoying driving the Caterham as much as I thought I would

I know what you mean now, I'm fighting for 18th with a Torro Rosso I really have the feeling I can't go harder. Then I tried 'Professional' and it was too easy So I think we just have to suck it up and get better!

Starting to enjoy it now, restarted with Williams and I've been spending time with my setup's and I've been scoring some good points

3 races into my 25% career.
I'm driving for Force India and I am going to have the turn the difficulty up to Legend, reluctently. I've been running Pro and had the results as follows;

Melbourne:
Q-18th R-1st
Sepang:
Q-17th R-1st
Shanghai:
Q-10th R-2nd

I am really struggling in quali but my race pace is good.
I don't know whether to go to Legend or not. What do you all think I should do?

Also, has anyone had an R&D that has worked yet?
I've had 3 and passed them all only to do 2 laps in quali and get told over the radio something along the lines of, 'The R&D part has failed". :/

On a bright note, the game is great! Not had so much fun in offline mode since...V8SC 3

I should wait untill you qualify 1st because Legend in this one is really hard.. You can try and see it for yourself.

The R&D part failed probably because you didn't out qualify your team mate or you qualified too slow..

I beat all the Champions Mode events last night.

Well done! I haven't tried champions mode yet but people have said it's very hard. Right now I'm struggling on the time attack scenarios with Silverstone, my best is just over a second off gold time and I've done at least 20 laps (I even turned on ABS so mistakes weren't so common), the Hockenheim one took 3 laps to gold but I've been bad at Silverstone at every game it's been in.

The only ones I had difficulty with were Button challenge and the final challenge.

Just accepted a contract with Sauber and the next race I'm in a Sauber, didn't realise it was an immediate move, pretty cool though, means I got in a faster car =)

Came across a weird glitch the other day, qualy was in the wet and when it came to race day it was dry but all the ai cars stayed on full wets and by the end of lap two after they had pitted I had a 30 second lead and a nice easy race

I won my first race in Canada, I started on Inters on a wet track and all the rest started on slicks, after lap 2 everyone pitted for Inters so I had around 20 seconds of a lead, but it was a struggle to hold them all back towards the end because I was on a wet setup on a drying track.

Qualified on pole in Hungary in the Sauber

I haven't played this game for a long time, these ^ things aren't helping. Why would they make it like that? Stupid little details are giving me a bad taste..

They changed the professional AI level on the PC version. It's now closer to Legendary.
